    You are a battle hardened soldier, the way you defend this country deserves thousand praises. You have set the bar very high for the AAs who would like to relocate to SA. We will use your family and Blantons as a yard stick for people who should settle and build a future with us. Thank you again for choosing SA you could have chosen any other country.

    Totally agree on the education aspect. My daughter, from SA, is studying in New York, and she is often shocked at the level of general knowledge and lack of critical thinking. I could be wrong, but this is her understanding 😊

    • @BlackDoveNYC
      @BlackDoveNYC Год назад +1

      No not wrong. There has been a systemic plan to dumb down the populace in the U.S. starting with Reagan in the '80s. Republicans understand that if the population was to educated they wouldn't buy the BS they were selling. First things they stopped funding were physical education and music. Two subjects that increase one's ability to think and reason.

    • @iamDavidaRose
      @iamDavidaRose Год назад +12

      You’re not wrong, I fight people about critical thinking too. The people that run our education system said they wanted a nation full of workers not thinkers and I do see that method working extremely well in the US.

We are a young democracy that is growing in leaps and bounds. We are proud of what we are achieving everyday but it's still not easy. We are very resilient (I guess that's just the nature of blacks) Please do visit rural South Africa and see how our villages are turning out. It's really interesting to hear your perspective of America, because we were always under the perception that America has the money and the jobs and all that, but it's interesting to hear that similar to South Africa, the experience is dependent on economic status. If you have money it's great, if you don't there is still crime and poverty, and poor schooling. Like South Africa is an amazing place to live if you have enough money to live in safe neighbourhoods, afford private schooling and private healthcare, as well as Jojo tanks and solar panels or generators. But if you don't have money, it's really tough. And it's interesting to hear that America is pretty much the same 🤔 I'm sure I read the other day that Chicago has a higher murder rate than Durban?? But like you said, it's not something that's really talked about.

    I laughed when you had the " cop pull up behind the black man psychosis syndrome kick in". It would really be hysterical if it wasn't so true. I know cause I was illegally pulled over at least 10 times in the 15 years that I have been driving. I have since, for economic reasons, sold my car and stopped driving. The money I save from the illegal revenue collecting ticket scam, car repairs and outrageous insurance cost I can now come to check you out in SA. Peace and love

      @@asadelmalikphd Uncle Asad. Maybe a topic for research at your institute, when the leeves broke from New Orleans and aftermath and measure put in place since.And how to setup a disaster management organization. Durban is going to have more flooding in the future due to climate change.
