I genuinely hope they don't give blind squirrel a second chance after how hard they fumbled colours ultimate, not that sega isn't at any fault here as they shoulf have kept a closer eye on them but blind squirrel were also definitely at fault and if thru do, do more remasters/ and or remakes I hope it's monitored a lot more carefully and handled better in general and if they do make another studio make it like they did with superstars I hope its minored and handled just as well as the game is.

In regards to the film industry strikes:
The notion that writers are the "rich 1%" is actually really misguided. Living in LA doesn't mean you're rich, it just means the cost of living is way more expensive. The majority of writers (and actors!!) are not the famous people you see in movie posters. Most of them have very little job security between projects (Especially with modern streaming incentivizing cancelling projects en masse) and have to work multiple jobs just to stay alive.
Just because there are popular "easy to hate" shows that you personally dislike doesn't mean *every single person* working in the industry should be treated worse. That would be like saying every single RUclipsr deserves lower Adsense pay because the most famous people on this platform are rich douchebags. And, if you don't like how movies and TV is written today, trust me, letting the big CEOs further extend their abuse for the sake of getting richer is only going to make it worse if said CEOs go unchallenged.

Not sure how "just have miserable kids!!" is a solution to Japanese adults being overworked to death and not having the time or financial security to start a family, nevermind that the amount of successful long-term relationships in Japan has declined overall for similar reasons. Nobody has a "moral obligation" to have kids, in fact I respect people who want the best future for their yet-to-be kids, and the government should be helping them...
Come on Sega give us that Sonic Heroes remaster it has a lot of room for improvement. Also it is crazy there is so many leaks for Sonic The Hedgehog 3. I really hope they can stay on track for its planed release date of December 20, 2024.

I'm purposefully avoiding these sonic movie 3 leak videos just for the sole purpose of the movie being a complete surprise for me
I am so hyped for either a Sonic Adventure Remake or a remastered Sonic Heroes, and I just hope that Sega doesn't give Blind Squirrel a second chance remaking these games after how hard they screwed up Colours Ultimate, but if Sega officially does an Adventure Remake, they should make a tiny Chao Garden app for Mobile, since the Gameboy Advance or the DS line are discontinued, so we can't take these Chaos with us, plus it will give us room so we can get more chao unlike the Gameboy Advance Sonic Games which has only one chao, and I'm just a little worried about what will happen to the third Sonic movie and Knuckles TV Show, Hopefully the Actors Strike and Writers Strike (thanks to AI which revived dead people such as John Lennon, Michael Jackson, Kurt Cobain, Elvis, Sid Vicious, and George Harrison) end so that the Human scenes for Sonic Movie 3 can be filmed even though they are making the set designs and CGI animations, but anyways, I am so hyped for the third Sonic movie and the Knuckles Paramount+ Show, and I hope it's succesful, and I can't wait to see Sega remastering Sonic Adventure or Sonic Heroes, and as always, Great Video Jayden! I don't know where you got the idea that riders in LA are in the top 1% of wealth 🙄. The majority of writers in LA are living paycheck to paycheck. The streaming services don't pay them appropriate residuals and they're trying to negotiate for better contracts. Just because you may not like the end product doesn't mean the people who worked on the project shouldn't get fair compensation for their work.
yeah, it's a very starving artist situation, as usual the folks who do most of the creative work (be they FX workers, writers, animators, etc) in shows/movies get the short end of the stick as all revenue is siphoned up to the top.
I mean, relatively speaking they are. its kind of like how in america you can be in the bottom 10% of income earnings, but still be in the top 15% worldwide.
its all about perspective, most people couldnt even afford to live in a city like LA, so yeah we arent going to feel bad because the people who can live there dont get as much extra spending money as they'd like.

At first, when I heard about sonic 3 doing the filming of the cgi stand in dolls for sonic and the other animal characters, I was excited because I love the movies and that means the movie is going to be ready sooner, but then I realized that if they were to have the cgi animators to animate the characters before any voice actors said their lines it would probably look bad (apparently cgi animators need to go off the actors voices to make it look good) so they would have to redo it once the actors were there, and unless the strike is over soon and the animators have enough time to get it done, the animators would probably have to work extra and I’m against that, obviously, because that’s not okay to have them work too much because they’re human beings just like the rest of us but also because of what happened when spiderverse’s animators needed to redo a bunch of scenes too close to the release (there’s literally 4 versions of the movie. 3 of which are probably going to become lost media). I’m just gonna hope all they’re doing in getting the scenes with the stand in dolls done and no actual animation done.

I’m looking forward to 2024.
I feel its a little out of touch to criticize the writers strike because of shows like velma and the good doctor existing. For every velma or good doctor that releases these days, there are also going to be shows like Ted Lasso or Severence. Good, quality shows that are made by hard working writers and actors. These strikes are for the people who are trying to make a living in one of the most expensive places to live. We should want fair working conditions for our writers, even if it means putting movies like sonic 3 on hold. I would rather watch Top Gun 2, a good movie that was delayed for a long time, rather than watch X-Men origins Wolverine, a movie that continued production through the last big writers strike, and because of it, had horrible writing and was panned by fans and critics. I'm really hoping Sonic 3 is a Top Gun situation

True, plus "this show was bad" doesn't justify not paying the person who wrote it. Just don't hire them again if you aren't happy with their work, we shouldn't normalize low pay and unfair contracts just because some shows are bad.

I run a small film studio, and I know several actors that are a part of the union. I just want to clear something things up.
SAG-AFTRA represents actors, NOT writers. The WGA represents writers. There are two different strikes right now for two different reasons.
I don’t have much to say about the writer’s strike, BUT the actor’s strike is completely reasonable.
The vast majority of actors in the union are paid less than $26,000 per year, which is the minimum requirement for health insurance. I know a ton of actors that are struggling to pay rent.
Okay, so compensation isn’t great, but there’s a much bigger reason for the strike:
1. Studios are trying to pay actors for a single day of work ($85-$150 total for the day), then use that day to scan them using a 3D scanner, then dismiss them while using that 3D model forever without consent or compensation from the actor.
2. Historically, actors get paid for the money their movie or show earns. It’s basically a shared profit model. So DVD/BluRay sales, television broadcast profits, etc. have always been paid out as residuals to actors. There is absolutely nothing in place for streaming. So while actors get almost all of their earnings off the back end, they get zero from streaming. SAG-AFTRA has requested an agreement to pay out the actors for streaming.
3. Studios have been failing to offer proper meals to actors, forcing them to work 12-18 hours in a day with virtually no food. The strike seeks to remedy this.
4. Studios have failed and even refused to offer proper breaks between work days, which would allow actors to sleep. Actors are required to work a full day, then be ready for another full day without time to sleep between the two days - often for months at a time.
5. Studios have been failing to pay actors in a timely manner. So while the vast majority of actors are struggling to pay their bills or even buy groceries, the studios are also not paying them when they said they would. Imagine if your job just didn’t pay you, and it took like a year to get your $500 paycheck.
6. Studios are working children, and are not paying them the minimum wage. Remember, the minimum day wage is $85. So in theory, a child could be required to work 18 hours straight, not get fed, not be allowed to sleep, not get paid on time, and when they do get paid, their check is virtually nothing, because as a child, you’re not valued.
So the actor’s strike is actually a union that is coming together, leveraging its much more financially viable members (big movie stars) to fight on behalf of the little guys. And if studios would meet these very reasonable requests, the strike would end that day.
This is actually a lot of really useful information and I definitely was throwing WGA and SAG into the same boat, also a lot of great info here I haven't been seeing cleared up by anyone else!!!
I've heard nonstop bad things about being an actor and I definitely agree that it doesn't seem like ideal conditions, but at the same time, these production cities like LA are overpopulated form everyone going there wanting to risk it all and become an actor, which most can't afford. I agree it's a bitter and sad reality, and everyone should get paid fairly for their work.
But also form people I know who are actors and work as crew (makeup, gaffers, etc), money gets thrown around A LOT and often for not much work. The problem is, there's a very limited amount of positions but demand from EVERYONE. This leads to very harsh competition and a lot of struggle from actors trying to make it. Even the biggest actors are all struggling until they get their "big break" and many actors (especially television) make FAR less than we think. Many even as much as an ordinary lower middle class person. Fake definitely doesn't equal money.
But with this knowledge, just like quitting your job and becoming a RUclipsr, this a major risk that will come with hardships
And while I sympathize with the strikers and DO hope they get their negotiations, just looking realistically with how theese corporations operate and from all the recent news, they almost certainly won't get 100% of what they wanted.
Hollywood is such a hard thing to break into, just like how 2020 opened up a lot of possibilities for new work at home based companies like zoom and such, or people doing the word GameStop/AMC stock or doge thing, this catastrophe is a similar sort of disruption.
If someone is lifelong trying to break into Hollywood, and they are not crossing the line or breaking union (not scabbing since they're not sag) then I do think people should act in their own best interest and not the interest of random peoples approval. If there's a once in a lifetime opportunity to do something you're very qualified for and always wanted to do, such as writing or acting, then I DO think these people should overall take care of themselves first.

You know I used to find you super annoying but now I really appreciate you as you are one of the few youtubers for Sonic that sounds excited instead of dour, miserable, and whining.
Firstly, the global fertility crisis is happening because people don't have money to raise their kids. Children are a major cost and if you don't have the money, then you can't raise them properly. If governments are concerned about the declining fertility rates then maybe they should raise salaries so that they will go up. Waiting until you are at a stable position in life to have kids, isn't some paranoid concern, it's a smart and responsible decision.
Secondly, if someone doesn't want kids they shouldn't be pressured or guilt tripped into it. Not everybody is fit to be a parent and if you bring a child in a house where the parents don't want them, then they are going to be treated like they are not wanted, even unintentionally.
And thirdly, who says that the leading cause of depression in women is the lack of kids? Not every woman's goal is to be a mother. And if you have depression, go to therapy, don't just have kids, that is risky at best and dangerous at worst.

I have to say love your videos but there were some very off-putting views in this one. For example about the strikes it's really weird to pretend like the only people affected or the only ones asking for more money are the really shitty Riders from stuff from Velma and not tons of very hard-working and well known actors who deserve more pay and Riders who can barely get by on really great shows and animation. That's just very silly and I also think it's kind of a surface level view to pretend like everyone who gets mad at scabs is doing so just to be over actionary there are a lot of people like that on Twitter yes but generally the issue is that for a message to be strong and get something done as many people as possible can't go against that movement. I also think it's a little silly as us Sonic fans to act like all we care about is more Sonic media and not the quality or compensation of the people behind it so I don't agree that I want the Sonic 3 movie if it's at the cost of those things. That "considering reboots and remakes in parallel with new titles" makes alot more sense now I think, could the shadow aspect of the generations collection just be a new game alongside a remaster of generations? I feel this statement fits the bill pretty well, but it's too early to tell yet.

I tried to play heroes again last night, I'd forgotten just how slippery the renderware era games were. They are really hard to play. Adventure is significantly tighter by comparison. A remake or remaster would have to do some work. Because we definitely remember Heroes more fondly than it actually is.

I remember playing Sonic Heroes on pc was fun, but it was painful on xbox because the analogue stick made it hard to not mess up in the special stages to get the chaos emeralds. Especially when running on the ceiling. Keyboard was way better

It'd be very weird for a movie adapting aspects of SA2 to be missing the San Francisco iconography and setting, and to be low on human actors when that's the one game plot in which they arguably matter most. I'd be fine with a delay if it means we get a better film in the end. Hollywood should stop being such money grubbing a-holes, give the writers, bg actors and other underpaid creators what they want and get back to business, rather than trying to rush films out with shoddy workarounds.

@lopez_el_joven back in the day they had sonic advance for Gameboy that had a tiny chao garden. There you could complete the jewel line of chao because they weren't in the main game. You could transfer the chao to your Gameboy through dreamcast or GameCube at the time and vice versa. But yes kinda like Pokémon go.

The only thing with Sonic Colors Ultimate (in defense of) was that it was on sale for cheap, and I had never played before, and kinda wanted to, regardless of whether the game was bad.
It’s a great game, I can tell you that. I had so much fun playing it. Besides some negative views and ratings on it, it’s still a great game, regardless of the story being a bit bad in it.

I think if a Sonic Adventure 1/2 remaster/remake were to be done, I'd LOVE a few changes. New stages, new playable characters, tweaks to the annoying levels like Big's levels. Also, redo the Chao garden. I mean, how COOL would it be to be able to find different colors of the same family of animal? Like, a black or a red dragon, or a pink ghost or a white tiger or a golden tiger? Then of course, I'd like to have the ability to take the chao to the doctor and say 'I want THIS body part in particular to be locked so I don't accidentally give my epic dragon chao I spent the last two hours customizing chicken legs. Thanks.'

What I miss more than anything in the whole franchise is the feedback loop between the repayable levels and the Chao Garden. That's probably the sole reason I was addicted to sonic more than any other franchise, I hope to see them capitalize on the Chao Garden once again and add new evolutions and minigames. I also wouldnt mind them taking some modern inspiration from Sparky the electric jester, no sonic games after adventure 1/2 could match the physics for me but sparky definitely does.

My only issue with colors is that there are two different versions and I'm disappointed that they did not include the ds character encounters in ultimate. As for the Sonic Adventure games + Heroes, I prefer that they remake them at least make it with the same IP as Frontiers and improve on it. Also purely for the lore I want Shadow the Hedgehog game to be remade or remade as DLC to SA2.
