No, it's very fair to call heroes repetitive. not only are each group a different difficulty level, but you HAVE to play all 3 difficulties to get the last story.

You have to finish all stories to get to the final one in Heroes, so yeah it's perfectly fair to call it repetitive. It's not optional.
Not only that but the differences are only in difficulty and not that noticeable, so yeah, it's really repetitive af

@@HellfireCommsTeam Dark had longer, slightly less forgiving stages and usually more enemies to deal with.
I wanna be able to play as the fly characters without having to stack all the time 24/7 in game, I hope there will be a "totem" and "single" mode for fly characters (totem is the stack of fly, speed, and power, single mode is playing freely as fly types using their own attacks that aren't thundershoot but their own attacks like dummy bomb rings, cheese attack, or Charmy stinger!)

Guys, Zippo is an unreliable source. He told us about a false January Nintendo Direct, and told us that Sonic X Shadow Generations wasn't the Sonic and Shadow 2024 game.

Sonic Heroes came out the year I was born, so if a remake happens by the time I'm 30, it would be sureal
Sonic Heroes like you, is one of my favorite Sonic games, played it as a kid (i'm 30 now), never had problem with controls.
Only thing was the Grade system that was sometimes way harder than it should, without telling us what to improve.
5:12 id say that it is fair to call the game repetitive as to unlock the final story you have to play all of the storys to completion with repeating levels, if you only had to complete 2 of them to unlock the final story than id say that it is fair not calling them repetitive as most of them would be optional difficulties.
I think to avoid the repetive nature. Spend more time making levels for each team. Better yet change some time of day elements for a more cohesive story. Give each team more unique feeling stages or each team gets a unique level.
A sonic hero’s remake makes me feel both happy and scared. A part of me thinks this could be a huge glowup for the game, with the devs fixing and improving the overall experience. And than the other side of me thinks this is gonna be like colors ultimate, where the devs manage to introduce more problems and issues to the game, and my god sonic hero’s does NOT need any more bugs and glitches than it already has. It could make the pinball section impossible 😭
it could make the pinball impossible or to easy to cheese in some stages, multiple times i got a bug that moved the floor collision on top the pinball tables like an invisible cover so it made all the way to the end just a slide lol i never found what triggered it besides some camera shakes jumping with sonic
Sonic heroes is still 1 of my fave sonic games to replay along with unleashed but yeah it’s a very unpolished game I rlly hope they fix all the issues and make all the teams playthrough more varied becuz rlly only the difference was length of stages rlly
A remake means its built from the ground up and NOT using code from the original, so there's only a small chance of getting a SCU situation.

its not just difficulty though. in order to finish sonic heroes you HAVE to go through all of them. and each team, while not as deep as the adventure games, do have their own stories. yeah its just to loosely give them a reason to be out and about but its still there.
It is awesome that Sonic Heroes is getting a remake but I would also like to see them remake Sonic Adventure 1 and 2 also. So that way I don't have to take out my GameCube constantly just for my me to play them.

The only problem I have with Heroes remake is that it is like 2-3 games deep in prior lore and characters. Odd spot to start making 3D remakes for any new fans to join in. I guess they can do a little lore recap in the extras menu or something.

Fingers crossed that the story gets a bit of tightening up; I'd especially like to see more polish on Metal Sonic, since the whole idea of him going rogue is kinda cool but could have been more refined. Either way, it'll be fun to play it anew

If a Sonic Heroes remake were to occur they better have more teams and include Silver and Blaze.
I fact just replace Team rose with Team ... Esper or whatever.
Not only was Team Rose's campaign insultingly easy (seriously no game needs to be that easy) but it didn't even tie into anything narrative wise.
Amy just chased after Sonic and dragged big and Cream along for the ride.
It would help explain the reason why each team doesn’t clash during the story despite all of them appearing on each level at the same time
@@metazoxan2it was supposed to be the easy mode for little kids (but their presentation leads to most people experiencing it only after finishing normal and Hard Mode(sonic and Darks campaign)
If it was laid out first I think the difficulty is perfect for a kid or someone with complete unfamiliarity with the games mechanics but because of presentation people are not likely at all to pick it First
But I would make it a seperate non required option to experience if you've beaten any other teams story since their all more difficult (and if it's a ground up remake they also have the potential to make more changes to the stages)
Personally I'd rather them not remove content in a remake even if it is repetitive but that's because I'd rather they to improve upon it then remove things and if we want to keep the old layout id make it harder then darks stages for combat but easier for platforming (so their Invincibility and shield giving team blast actually have usage because due to them all being weaker then the other teams they do less damage) and that's just 1 way to try and fix it

@metazoxan2 team rose is easy mode, team sonic is normal, team dark is hard mode, and team chaotix is mission mode. They set it up like that on purpose except the order of the teams should've been swapped or more apparent so that you don't play with team rose later rather than sooner.

If there’s going to be Sonic Heroes, then not only Sonic Team should make the graphics be like masterpiece and make the gameplay more masterpiece (especially in the special stages), but also they should make extra stuff (especially extra teams) to make the challenges worth it [like Team Silver, the team of Fang, Bean and Bark (I forgot their team’s name, leave in the comments if you know the name please), Team Eggman, Team Metal Sonic and that Group called Chaotix group (Mighty, Tiara and Ray)]. Sounds good, right?
Edit: I also want Sonic Team to make the characters have an option to change the running animation (adding an option to let us choose which running animation Sonic is using like the original Heroes running or the more cooler running which is the hands behind running).
That won't ever happen in a billion light years.

dude I loved Heroes. I always viewed it as part of the Adventure line up. Glad to hear it is in it's baby phases though, and glad that Midori isn't left.

I hope they fix the story. I have a bit of a guilty pleasure for Sonic heroes but it's story really just felt kind of slapped together with it's final act having a "Somehow Palpatine has returned" kind of feeling.
I'm not asking for the greatest story ever but like ... give metal sonic a more prominent role and show some scenes explaining WTF is happening.
Like why is metal sonic taller? What did eggman mean about him "finally transforming"? We are never given any explanation for any of this.
