Hello Grubby, I've been watching your wc3 replays since I was a teenager, In paralel I was actually playing wc3 DotA, but implementing micro strats from your replays. To this day, I join your streams to watch wc3, but you starting playing and being interested in DotA is like a dream come true! I am very excited for your future with it, hopefully we get to see you in TI finals ^^
I always like a team thats relaxed and jokes around before the games start. For me it shows a stronger mental. Its important to be focused and serious, but its also important to relax
Waited for the Grubby version for this one... I did watch the real thing and it is surprising how in sync their thoughts are on what the other team is going to do...
i remember watching a video about team spirit's practice room during that TI. they were given a room basically a kitchen. and they all went out to win the whole tournament.
It was really great watching xiao8 keep the morale of his team up throughout the series, even down 0-2 faced with defeat he prioritised creating a good playing environment over saying "you will bring shame to our org/country" or anything negative. The mark of a great leader
i think every team should strive to have their own true sight filming crew, doesn't matter if they can't reach final, the fans wants these footage anyway!
I really respect both of these two teams for how humble they are, and how much they respected their opponents. Knowing what Faith_Bian is like, he was definitely using Spirit's voice lines at the start to show respect and play the (online) crowd, it wasn't BM or trying to play mental warfare. Whenever either team needed to hype themselves up, they never said "They're garbage, they don't deserve the championship, we're much better", and they constantly stressed that they shouldn't underestimate each other, and that they're all humans, 'same as us'. Even after eliminating Secret, Yatoro was like "I think Matumbaman is very smart. What did he build on Terrorblade? I need to use that." It was really refreshing for this True Sight and really helps me root for both teams in the future.
The production team definitely know their stuff, this ti might not have the best story or drama like the previous one but imo they have more entertaining gameplay and drafting strategy. So that's what they mainly focus on compared to the previous true sight where we barely even see the match.
Yeah, this True Sight hits different in a good way. Someone mentioned that TI 7, 8, and 9 are more about the player's mentality, but that's not really a factor in TI 10 where both teams are fairly relaxed the whole way. The shift to gameplay logic and strategy is really great.
@@lyonvensa yeah. I wish they had more of a story for team spirit being super underdogs for the whole tournament, they literally appeared out of nowhere. And how PSG were an unbeatable beast for the whole tournament. But it is still a great watch
@@aynes8099 yeah. We got a taste of TI8 so most people have high expectations of what a good underdog story is. Sadly, this pale in comparison to it. This TI is more draft focused. The team that wins the draft pick wins the game. Mostly stomp the opponent. But hey, TI10 is definitely better than TI9 for sure.
Its somewhat catharthic (if that's the right word) that True Sight showed that Xiao8 mostly responsible to bring LGD's spirit up and almost pulling a reverse sweep. I remember when Chinese fans were massively flaming him for the game 5 draft for not denying Team Spirit Magnus (Some really hilarious salt tho). There was even somewhat of a controversy in that a rumor spread Xiao8 had bet against the team and purposely threw. This lead to an actual official post from LGD that they were investigating potential matchfixing, which, surprise surprise, no matchfixing was found.
there was no investigation, that was just announced to calm down the community using the PSG.LGD reputation as the face of Dota 2 Chinese Scene. So the matchfixing of Xiao8 can still be possible. I am not talking about the finals, i talk about regular 'first 10 kills' best, 'first blood' etc and his past experience
Kinda sad to be honest that the chinese fans flamed him that hard. The immense pressure from the chinese fans that It's taken a toll on them and no surprise that most of them want to retire(more like a break cuz no one actually retires in this game).
All true sights have been great but I really enjoyed this year because they didn’t make LGD to be the villain in this one. Really gave you the feeling of wanting both teams to win even though you know there can only be one. It’s great seeing a light hearted china and made me appreciate the director (xiao8) even more. The kings stock going up 📈📈
Ember is so popular because he is basically very EASY to learn but hard to master, the skill ceiling on the hero is very big AND the most important is basically his versatility. He can be a ganker, he can be a magic damage dealer, he can poke, he can be phsyical damage dealer, he can go in and out of fights.
Ame: "I was so farmed in the early game" The emotion that those words carry made me cry, his regret and frustration i can feel them in those words 😢. Still ggs, Team Spirit congrats
This International really showed the mental fight just in the drafting phase alone. The past 2 Internationals were just tilting the enemy and playing good. This one has a lot of psychological tactics at play showing Dota 2 is more about analyzing. Great vid as always, though, as a RUclips frog, seeing the Twitch chat could have made this vid better. Still, keep the vids running.
1:46:05 Ame looking back at the stage probably thinking when will I lift the Aegis of Champions is really sad because he been a consistent carry for years and close to win it couple of time.
I literally just closed the tab where I watched TI 10 True Sight and this popped up in my recommendation after that, of course I'll watch it again with you
Look at Team Spirit's attitude in and out of the game. Whenever they're tilted, they acknowledge how well their opponents' expertise and playstyle while all smiling! Respect
1:05:15 Rubick (XinQ) lifted Spectre (Ame) out of the fountain and Eul'd the Magnus trying to skewer him back to fountain all in split second. What a reflex.
Though the Euls is actually from Y(Undying) not XinQ. And also the cinematics where Rubik cancel the linkens before lifting, it's actually Faith_Bian(Bloodseeker) Rupture that cancels the linkens. I'm just fascinated in he's reflex that's why I watched his perspective. Feels kinda disappointed that it's not all from XinQ, but at least that's a great teamwork.
This entire TI was super weird, i mean team spirit literally evolved with the entire tournament, they really were not strong starting off but they really started gelling and man their awareness was on point. It was crazy how safe yatoro was because he really had a gut feeling for where everyone was. I mean if you ask anyone, spirit was not a team that was on anyone's radar starting off.
As an OG fan, TS was something like OG. OG started from the bottom and started as underdogs to dominating everyone on TI including LGD. But I'm not a fan of TS and I absolutely want LGD to win TI.
@@arvie9242 Unlike OG, TS was basically full of unknowns in the scene. OG had Notail and Ceb who were respected veterans internationally. TS had Miposhka, but even that is limited to his region. The rest were pubstars and nobodies. But they pulled it off. Beating the beast.
You see on 50:57 you didn't really focus on their conversation. It leads to your confusion on 52:16 on how Team Spirit looks lost on how to counter them. Anyway I really like your reaction, and it's really okay to just pause the video for a moment to ask chat about anything related to the vid. Rather than ask then read chat answer while continuing the video, especially on this case where you won't understand a thing unless the english caster is saying something 😂
There were so many other cool team spirit storylines that could've been included. A couple big turning points in games, especially in game 5. Yatoros hair cut. The death note. The horrible conditions they were given for group stages. The fact they didn't have internet the first day there to practice...
Personally I'll put this above the OG run on TI8, this storyline is just so memorable above all else man. Team Spirit's cinderella run from almost being eliminated to winning it all to Ame's redemption story for finally tasting the glory after reaching the finals couple of times. Happy to see TS win but at the same time heartbroken to see Ame, xiao8 and PSG.LGD lose again.
Really dude? I guess that your own opinion. If you ask me, it was a good TI but it wasnt as exciting or nerve wracking as TI8. Like this TI, the games are won in the draft alone. Games 1 2 3 and 4 were either LGD stomping TS or TS stomping LGD so it was pretty boring as the games didnt have any nitty gritty back and forths or those impossible comeback wins at all. Game 5 was decent but it was pretty much game over for LGD when when their tiny-Lycan combo failed and they couldnt stop the magnus. Though TI10 is definitely better than TI9 for sure as that was completely one sided. But none of those two or any TIs in the past could ever match TI8. In TI8, you could be outdrafted but still win the game. Games were either close and hard fought with impossible clutch comebacks. TI8 is still the best TI ever. Sorry man.
It's really sad how Ame looked. Watching him cry on the inside makes you emotional. He's been in finals on TI for a lot of times but still haven't won.
I quit Dota after nearly 14 years because the community was too toxic and it really got to me. Watching Grubby with his positive attitude, getting coached by our childhood heroes and his experience as a proplayer himself really wants me to play again. Really makes me smile often watching his stream
Well don't rush in the game too much. maybe play some turbo games (double exp and gold match) so you don't get a sour taste in your mouth if you get a toxic teammate since the games goes fast.
Dota is still very very toxic.. Grubby has a very positive and realistic mindset, it's teaching most dota enjoyers to deal with toxic behaviour/gameplay much better than before.
As someone who often plays with friends on discord, one solution to the toxicity (which is common mostly when you play with randoms, and is normal in mobas) is to play together with people you're comfortable with, as long as you all do it for fun. Game becomes so. Much. Better. Even if you lose.
Great video, nice team. Spirit's temper and playstyle is similar to OG, they are really fun to watch, last Major was fun too. Nice subtitle translation, especially of curse words, gives more emotions and deeper atmosphere of slav dota Sad moment in the end when they say "I'll buy house near Kyiv and Maga will join" and you realise it is 2021 on the video...
I really hope you could've seem Team Secret run. They won everything but the TI during the pandemics, it was really heartbreaking their lost at loser finals. You should check it someday, definitely worth it.
Thanks Grubby it's great to see an outsider perspective. Makes casting these games and being part of the community worth while... as a community caster you don't really get to feel your audience but with you here it's a totally different perspective. Loving all of it.

So sad that politic can ruine everything. It brought hate in our hearts. Now Ukraine in ruins, and russian people are suffering because sanctions and a lot of hate. And now usual russian people should go to that stupid war. It is very very sad. I hope everything someday will be okay...
Russian here. I wouldn't say that we suffer much. Hate? Dude, there were always hate to us from West, it was not there only after fall of USSR which when Russia had to pay all debts of USSR (yes, only Russia, others countries, such as Ukraine, were free from debts). It was hard time and yes, our country was weak during that, west was so happy ahaha. They even still praise Gorbachev, this man who is responsible for this chaos. With situation in Ukraine, this is not that easy that you think. Yes, war is bad, but in this conflict it is not like there are "bad" and "good" parties to the conflict.
genuinely one of the best things about this final was having Ceb and N0tail, as well as Aui2000 (who won TI5), on the draft panel, glad some of their insights made it into true sight this time around as well
Ns still has better night vision, the main reason is that NS can't Lane against Luna Undying. Luna would be ultra farmed and NS will be turtling under tower or jungle very early. Axe on the other hand could still farm and get fat in Lane.
For the analists they got 3 TI champions, aui(a support that carried eg to the finals and then got kicked off the team right after winning it), and the og boys
Just want to share how much I love your content. I was waiting for the true sight for a long time, but after it comes, I waited for your video of wathing it, thanks for the dota content! Cheers from Ukraine!
There should be clips floating around with the full NoTail and Ceb's casting commentary, those are also really interesting to watch on their own because they ended up correctly predicting half of the picks in real time.
1:33:37 I know what you're referencing here, but it was more like "I will play like that guy from the other game, because it worked" instead of "you should play like that guy who is destroying us right now". He said it himself while Kuro told his teammate to play like Ceb, which could be a huge punch in the gut
I think you should watch the new True Sight Insights series. Some really interesting stats in them that shed a bit more light on some moves by OG, LGD, and Liquid.

The sportsmanship shown by PSG really stuck out to me as a Hallmark of great character. Such a great series
Great idea
Team Spirit did actually! They did vlogs and you can find them on youtube
Ojalá y este año le callen la boca a amar y a yatoro muy soberbios en las rank públicas
For the first time since I have been watching TI I want to LGD to win this year's TI.
Did you just yawn writing that?! Go wash your face, it makes me uncomfortable. Do it now
@@DaDonnoro yeah probably did I wrote to before LGD lmao.
Nahhh this guy is selling the exact narrative he wants to believe😂😂
But the fact that all members aggreed not to ban mag og game 5
After this truesight, Chinese fans expressed their apologies to Xiao8. I feel happy knowing this.
Ame: "I was so farmed in the early game"
The emotion that those words carry made me cry, his regret and frustration i can feel them in those words 😢.
From plumber to doctor to astronaut didn't know that Johhny Sins is also a TI champion.
Yatoro yoinking aegis from Miposhka always makes me laugh mann never gets old
I literally just closed the tab where I watched TI 10 True Sight and this popped up in my recommendation after that, of course I'll watch it again with you
this is probably my favorite "True Sight" ... it was more focused on the Draft the heart of Dota IMHO
What if he actually has really bad reflexes, and washing your face is just that powerful.
@@zacharyalan4977 Then he should thank Xiao8. They almost fought.
and skewered invoker from inside the fountain
It really is a blessing that you came into the Dota2 scene!
Sorry man.
El Ti de OG VS LGD la mejor final
"A snail goes into a bar" was a common russian meme in TikTok those days.
" the community was too toxic"
kek
It is as toxic as you want it to be.
Too many people are overly sensitive, these days.
It's still super toxic, play with friends who want to have fun and dont take things too seriously then you'll be cool
This year's animations were even better than the previous one!
Great video, nice team. Spirit's temper and playstyle is similar to OG, they are really fun to watch, last Major was fun too. Nice subtitle translation, especially of curse words, gives more emotions and deeper atmosphere of slav dota
Sad moment in the end when they say "I'll buy house near Kyiv and Maga will join" and you realise it is 2021 on the video...
I really hope you could've seem Team Secret run. They won everything but the TI during the pandemics, it was really heartbreaking their lost at loser finals. You should check it someday, definitely worth it.
Bro, Grubby you should really watch the "TI 2021 introduction". They made the Cinematic/SFM of all of the best play of the game in all previous TI
link pls
Thanks Grubby it's great to see an outsider perspective. Makes casting these games and being part of the community worth while... as a community caster you don't really get to feel your audience but with you here it's a totally different perspective. Loving all of it.
Names with the subtitles would have been super helpful, I'm surprised they didn't include them. I had no idea who was talking 90% of the time
what i really like about this True Sight is the drafting stage seeing both team predict what's the other team prolly gonna pick so they ban it
really some high level sht
I've been a dota player all my life (just recently stopped doing so), but i always watches the pro scene closely up untill now.
with that being said, i actually never watched any True Sight movies, not until you do the watch party. Gotta admit that all the True Sight was awesome but watching it with you is what made me stayed through the whole things. It's so nice when u shared ur insights as a fellow competitor from another games (world champion at that) how it feels like in those situations and how u've dealt with them, or how u appreciate the things these guys does and etc.
Really loves ur content grubs!
This True Sight has hands down the best musical compositions thrown on each scenarios perfectly! My favorite is the engagement at 20:34 like the calm before the storm then the calming rainbows after the disaster. Chef's kiss!
Friendship end with TI8 true sight.
TI10 is my best buddy now.
Like friendship of Fly and Notail on ti8? Damn
Awful taste

i feel sad for only ame. he truly deserves TI. he is the best pos1 player i have ever seen
We all know Yatoro was the better carry in TI10
how can he be the best pos 1. his team picks around him and when it matters he fails to carry
Amazingly well done videos, these TI True sights. 👏
Just found you Grubby , and honestly one of my favourite personalities on YT , i love the positivity , the takes you have and just general content . Also watching you dive into Dota , a game ive played for almost 8 years is just amazing , its reigniting my passion and love for it .
In world was problem to wear masks vs covid, so nice to watch this True Sight, watching how it was peace between Russia and Ukraine, how Yatoro was discussing with Mira that Collapse would come and visit them in Kiev.
@@goldenhime8404 anyway nothing good that war brings to anyone.
How they showed the intensity of the last Draft. Damn good stuff. Love it and its soo lovely how empathic Grubby is! Pls never Change
1:05 ikr? I felt so much respect for collapse after seen his reaction to the rubik
Ame the uncrowned king
They made the last cinematic look so.. dramatic, thats amazing

Amazing how inside of each other's heads they were. Dota's skill ceiling keeps getting higher with each TI. Can't wait to watch TI with you Grubby!
1:49:16 Mira planning to buy a mansion near Kyiv.. feelsbadman
genuinely one of the best things about this final was having Ceb and N0tail, as well as Aui2000 (who won TI5), on the draft panel, glad some of their insights made it into true sight this time around as well
So excited for you to experience your first TI this year! Lets watch it together!
1:15:40 NS isnt good against Luna, cuz NS turn day into Night, Luna's passive increase night vission.
This true sight show how the draft is important
Whenever i see any of teams oyt there winning TI, a few tears drop from my eyes just because I realize how much effort was put to do it
Super well made those true sights!
Also I love the long and detailed drafting. I always feel it determines like 3/4 of the game outcome
for me the most memorable moment in this is Xiao8 speech after getting 0-2, he brought faith and energy to his players when all seeemed lost

props to silent. never knew him as a team leader. been watching dota since 2011.
im looking forward to the results of grubby's investigation into the window tape incident.
Just want to share how much I love your content. I was waiting for the true sight for a long time, but after it comes, I waited for your video of wathing it, thanks for the dota content! Cheers from Ukraine!
Wow, thank you!
I kept checking your channel if you have uploaded your reactions to this.
LGD were too hyped about the Lycan Tiny combo that they didn't hear their teammate talking about Rubick, that's why they lost.
There should be clips floating around with the full NoTail and Ceb's casting commentary, those are also really interesting to watch on their own because they ended up correctly predicting half of the picks in real time.
XinQ didn't wash his face that's why they lost
i hope lgd finally win a TI for once as they are favourites again
1:33:37 I know what you're referencing here, but it was more like "I will play like that guy from the other game, because it worked" instead of "you should play like that guy who is destroying us right now". He said it himself while Kuro told his teammate to play like Ceb, which could be a huge punch in the gut
"back in my day" - Hey, I think at the moment, it's another day for you, just in a different way
im happy u are now pausing when you talk :) i commented in ur previous video about it, im not sure if u seen it but im happy now :)
Love how grubby tries to speak russian, so cute
I think you should watch the new True Sight Insights series. Some really interesting stats in them that shed a bit more light on some moves by OG, LGD, and Liquid.
37 Minutes into Lord of the Rings. We have just left the Shire! Comedy god Grubby on point as always
The cinematic animations on this one are just polished damnn
