    Will you do a review on the Lasermatic 10 diode laser?

    I see you when you unplugged the servo motor. You had another plug hanging down from the machine. It’s a three prong plug. Do you know what that plug is for? I just got my machine today find anywhere to put the plug.

      I don't know offhand what the 3 prong plug does either. It's a mystery! If I find out I'll let you know.

    What's the difference between the Ikier chuck rotary and the Atomstack chuck rotary?

    • @thelaserchannel1
      @thelaserchannel1  10 месяцев назад

      Both are feature packed. As far as I know they are basically the same. The Iker includes the AtomStack style leg extensions- it really needs to include the lag extensions for the Iker machine- they're a different style. I've used both brands and they both are fantastic to use!

    Greg how do I set up the laser head to my project on the roller

    • @thelaserchannel1
      @thelaserchannel1  9 месяцев назад

      Alignment- I use the laser frame the laser module is on to align the roller unit. I position the motor to the left side- the machine connect is on that side. Set focus to the work material at the highest point- at 12' clock. Is this information you are looking for?

    Did you get the extension legs with the rotary accesory?

    • @thelaserchannel1
      @thelaserchannel1  Год назад +1

      I contacted Ikier before purchasing and they stated the legs for the Ikier K1 series machine will ship separately- it took just a short amount of time for them to arrive. Until then canned food cans work well as a stop-gap.

      @@garcitop Ikier got back to me and Yes- the correct extensions legs to fit the Ikier machine are purchased separately. The kit comes with extension legs for the Atomstack machines.

    how do you use R2 & R1 with the enclosure?

    • @thelaserchannel1
      @thelaserchannel1  Месяц назад

      The Ikier E1 enclosure is tall enough to allow the machine leg extensions to be used when running the R1 or R2 rotary accessories. Here's a link: shrsl.com/4kh4b

      @wesplummer5588 Месяц назад +1

      @@thelaserchannel1 I have the E2. Do you leave the extensions installed at all times? The E2 connects with screws to the K1 so the Enclosure would raise as high as the Extension legs. No other holes in the E2 other than the ones that set at ground level.

      @@wesplummer5588 Hi- no, I only install the extensions when I use the rotary attachment.

    Will the r2 work with a monport k40?

    • @thelaserchannel1
      @thelaserchannel1  3 месяца назад

      I haven't tried the R2 on the Monport K40. I did connect a 3rd party roller to the K40 and it worked perfectly. I would guess the R2 has a high chance of working with the K40- just remember to plug the cable from the rotary to the cable going to the Y axis motor!

      @@popperchad Excellent- I personally think the R2 is one the more capable and versatile rotaries on the market today! Here's a link to a video I have setting up a rotary to the K40: ruclips.net/video/S8jvD49RRb8/видео.html
