Ja, das liegt an dem hohem Seitenverhältnis (aspectratio) das gleitet sehr gut, ist aber weniger wendig. Turns gehen viel besser mit geringerer as ratio..
What do you mean with crazy fast on the dock start? I can push it really slow, jump onto it and it won't ever stall. On the other hand if I push the board too aggressive and too fast the nose will pitch up immediately which makes it harder to land. The 1150 will only stall if you have too much weight on your back foot upon landing.
I need to jump on it way faster than with the Foils I'm used to (Gong Curve XLT) to get it going. What's your weight? As I've definitely managed to stall it @84 kg after starting slowly, gliding till it's too slow, and trying to stay in too slow Boat wakes. In my short experience, it just dropped down, once I was gliding below a certain speed. Still, the speed was manageable, not as slow as the Bigger Front wings but still manageable. I've had the same problem with the nose coming up when pushing it, but for me moving the Foil further Back on the Board, so there is relatively more weight in the front, kept the Nose from pitching up when pushing it hard. (Might only work with not super lightweight boards) Best regards : )
LG, Leo
Thanks! Depends on how much your willing to spend. if you want to keep it rather cheap I would suggest a Gong Setup like the X Over XL/XXL and some random small Board or even a selfmade wood plank. If You're willing to spend a bit more money (Gong Sirius is pretty good I've heard :D ) I would maybe go for the Axis 1150 as its still a decent "Does it all" Foil!
@@leo-stief I have the xl xover, I learned to wing on it. So if that is a decent foil to learn to pump on then I am set. Mind you I should have bought the xxl to make life easier!
Very good question. If I had to choose one of both at the Moment it would be the 1300, as I already have faster-turning Foils so I would prefer the endless glide as an add-on to my range. If I could only use one Foil for the lake it would probably be the 1150 as it turns faster and feels a bit more playful in general. Pretty difficult to answer as both are amazing :D
Very good question! I bet if you're a very good paddler it should work but I already had major problems paddling 26 liters in so I think i would be able to paddle the tray in..

awesome, that you could test it. I am looking forward to test it myself at some point
Macht schon echt Spaß das Setup ; )
@@leo-stief kann ich mir gut vorstellen
Amazing and efficent Pump, Congrats. Can you share Mast Length and Tail size. Thanks.
Thanks :) Mast length: 75 cm, Tail Size: 46

Hi Leo, nice videos. So for an absolute beginner, going to buy the board and foil, complete set up, what you would recommend most?
Thank you

Krasses Video, baba Content!1!!!
If you want to liven up the 1150, you probably need to try different tails (the Progressive ones for example) and/or a shorter fuse if you can.
Progressive 400 Could help
I’m thinking 1150 coupled with a p450 as I am a beginner but can consistently land my dock starts just not too sharp on the pump technique yet.
I use the p350 and it is lively and great for pumping. My weight is 155lb
Good video. What is the size of the fuselage and stabilizer ?
Thx
Thanks mate! Stabilizer: 46. I'm not sure about the fuselage length but have just asked the owner :D
@@leo-stief I just saw that it's the short.
I just went from standard to short. And I think it's the best configuration with the stabilizer 46 :)
@@pump-and-foil why do u like short better? Is standard lower cadence?
@@apricotscrub more cadence and more playful with a shorter fuselage
@@pump-and-foil so less maximum duration?
Now that you have just tested the PNG 1300, what do you prefer in the end ?

@@leo-stief thank you . I'm thinking of adding this wing to my set Up 😀
@@pump-and-foil Its worth it I would say :D But I would maybe wait until the 1310 is out, maybe it glides even further then the 1300 :D
@@leo-stief that's a good point. it should be out soon too 😀
Does this board float enough to catch some waves?

What size axis tray are you riding?
I'm not sure honestly, but can ask the owner which size it was ;)
How long the mast??
Thanks so much 🙏
Did you use wedge on back wing?
What do you mean by wedge?
Shim
Which rear wing were you using? Thanks 😃
How to buy 😢
