It just feels normalized at this point. I've seen it since I was younger so I felt like they just didn't like black women. Went to a PWI. It’s a strategy. Those white girls come to university with the intentions of dating some of these nfl prospects. They intentionally place themselves in their proximity by joining clubs, hosting tailgates, doing fundraisers, assisting alumni and booster clubs, etc. These top universities are also apart of the strategy during recruitment and use these white women as a selling point. Some athletes have even admitted their coaches encouraged them to date white women. I think the athletes are infatuated with their money giving them more dating options, while the wives and girlfriends are playing the long game. As for any non athlete, I’m pro dating outside of your race as long as it’s for the right reason which is that person treating you correctly. If you’re dating outside of your race to be spiteful then you’re lost.
ETA: Personally I prefer black men but I’m also open to someone of a difference race with similar values and a good upbringing. The way the dating pool is nowadays, women, especially black women shouldn’t limit our options.

Their moms don’t express their wishes that they would prefer their sons to bring home a woman that looks like them, their sisters, their aunties and cousins. I tell my son if she can’t use your comb don’t bring her home. Because it’s okay to love and bring home and marry a woman that looks like your mom, sisters, aunties and cousins. Just the other week I passed a young black guy and white girl in the street. I was minding my own business, but from his reaction, the guy seemed bothered that I didn't react. I was thinking afterwards, 'if she's who you're with, be happy with her and don't worry about upsetting anyone'. I do think that some of these guys are trying to get a reaction. In these cases I think that there's something toxic going on, to do with projecting self-hatred. And the women who are with these types of men feed off of it, like a kind of superiority complex, seeing black men hating on their own kind. On the other hand I've seen black men with women of other races where you can tell that it's natural and organic, and they're not going around trying to get a rise out of people. They're just comfortable together. There's no toxicity. That I have more respect for.

I believe it’s the case of familiarity breeds contempt. BM think they know all BW through their moms, sisters, aunts, etc. and feel they’re all the same because it’s what they were brought up around. Those women disciplined, yelled, etc. at them. If they were too harsh with it, BM look at other BW all the same, which is a hindrance if they came from a toxic family.
Also, The others or “exoticals” are perceived to be like June Clever who was submissive, wore dresses/pearls while cooking and cleaning. WM put their women on a pedestal along with their money, so BM go after these types, which they THINK gives them an image of having arrived; their money and women.

There was a quote that a meditation teacher taught me that still resonates with me to this day: "Let go or get dragged." I think black men have allowed black women to be dragged on a global stage and no amount of persuading will convince a black man to be with a black woman if he desires a white woman. You will never be enough for a man that does not want you. I want everyone to find someone that they like and love- regardless of race. We can go back and forth and argue if it is self hate, if it is because "black women are undesirable", or black women bullied them... it does not matter. Let them go. Up to 33 min so far…. I’d say a lot of what you have said is on point. Speaking on our childhoods and the resources the Whyte girls may have had, the fascination of trying another race, emulating what pookie nem’ was doing (you’re dating a whyte girl, so I will too), etc. A lot of the Black guys I was around that dated whyte girls did so for a season. Some of the whyte girls went back to their racist heritage and they were only there to be a part of the culture for a short season. But, the ones who had children with or married Black men will still never understand or be passionate about Black people as a whole! 🤷🏽‍♀️
    Next generation:
When my son was younger I told him to leave the whyte girls alone because we don’t need those problems (in childhood , my whyte friends parents hated Black boys). He never dated a whyte girl but he always had a selection of girls to choose from (both Black & whyte). His wife is Black & so my grandchildren will be.

This been going on since the two decades ago with men uplifting women of other races even in rap videos. I honestly think that’s where it started. And exactly what Tony said about certain races wing willing to date black athletes because they have money. When they go trying to make themselves available to the black athletes the athletes choose them over black women sadly.
It’s not really anything to do with social media because this has been going on before social media was popular
Black men have black women in their families so they know what black women are like. Black women see how black men are in their families and they still look to date them….black men are exposed to black women outside of social media so that isn’t really true. We still love you though!
Men are the pursuers so they are choosing not to pursue black women. Black women are not the pursuers so they end up with the men who pursue them - most men approaching black women are black

Yet, I know that whether I marry a white man or a black man, etc, my son will still be a black man, and he will be treated as such in society. And so I think about that every day.

Hey Tony, sometimes it depends on where you live in the United States. For example, I currently work at Yale University and have also worked at Yale New Haven Hospital in an administrative capacity to where I have a very close view to the inner works of both and let me tell you, it warms my heart to see so many beautiful black young men and women as doctors, fellows, and administrators as well as law students etc. if your son decides to attend Yale he will undoubtedly see his reflections of himself in a successful capacity. Also want to add, for a few years I lived in West Palm Beach, Florida and Tony it was surprising to me how my black folks interacted with me. Most had never met anyone from up north and sometimes said to me, “I didn’t know there were black people in CT” no lie. This was in 2003-2008. It was also a different experience for me because some were so docile in the workplace and I was more assertive. Anyways, there’s so much more I could share but I’ll leave it here for now.

    • @millieconsultancy
      @millieconsultancy 5 месяцев назад +1

Please share more. I heard Yale was better than harvard for cultural simulation. Do you think it is a class issue? Wealthier black children gravitate towards other black children? Because sports is aimed at the lower working class. Especially football. Rare to find high academic achievers in sports. That could also explain their "strategic" choice. whereas professionals in medical and tech spaces tend to marry BW. The sports and media industry can not be allowed to be the thermometer for how the culture chooses love. Both industries are only 10% of the working population.

Some of us already had jobs by like 9th grade, so some bought their own cars or matched with the parents. My first two cars in high school were given to me by family. I’ve never dated outside of my race, but I have felt that white people are smarter, prettier, smaller, have more money , more confident and all that. I think part of it is the environment. I sent my son to schools where white people were the majority. Not on purpose. I worked at a middle school and brought him with me and then he got accepted into a languages academy. He got accepted to a PWI and got a scholarship. Another thing about my son is that he’s not all about looks. He likes to carry on deep conversations about life, travel, etc. His girlfriends were both Hispanic(he’s fluent in Spanish) and had come from families that were well traveled. These girls gave him the intellectual stimulation he was looking for. I have asked him if he has a preference for them. He told me he has tried. He said the black girl before he met his girlfriend he tried talk to at his college played to many games. And when he wasn’t pushy with her as far as kissing and s*x, she started questioning his sexuality. I am a teacher and some of our black girls need some home training. When I thought about what my son has seen from my and his sisters’ behavior would more align with a white girl 😢. I still praying for a black woman who loves Jesus and not because I’m racist. I want to see our black win in love and relationships.

The worlds only catching upto what BW been knew and more bw are now more open to dating other races. Other races of men genuinely are interested in BW and the way that they love is very protective, mature and refreshing nothing is perfect but it’s better then receiving constant immature low vibrations because the BM doesn’t know how to deal with life and all they can do is have sex talk about sex their boys and money. Men like you Tony are a rare exception and the younger girls that get your sons will be lucky if they remain the beautiful boys that they are ❤️🙏🏾 Also the e.g that you used how some BW act White women are worse, they expect a man to pay for everything & they are very vocal about it. BM choose they because based on colorism even if they choose a BW it’s the closet thing to white.

You nailed it on the head Tony! This is all programming via social media, entertainment, etc. That one BW who had an issue with the Cheese Cake Factory doesn't represent all BW. I love the Cheese Cake Factory. Then look at the TV shows and movies the only BM or BW is typically with a non black partner or homosexual. I grew up in Arizona and experienced the hatred that comes from BM/WW interracial relationships. Most of those relationships were shrouded with hate towards BW. I got tired of all my black cousins putting WW on a pedestal and trashing BW. Interesting thing they've all been married /divorced multiple times and have several babies mamas (all non black). As of today only two of them are married to non BW (3rd wives). You mean to tell me they dated, married and had babies by these WW and got the same results. Who's the common denominator in that situation BM not BW. I haven't seen the same hatred in BW/WM relationships they just date/marry out. All this is by design and is dividing the black community. Why is it okay for Indians, Asians, Native Americans, Latinos to instruct their families to date their own? When black people say that then we are racist or insecure BW blah blah.

Money affords us the comfortability to be who we really want to be or to show our true selves. When people come into money/success and run to another race they see that race as a trophy/reward for their success. I think a lot of the time, it is programming, status symbol, and our black children not getting taught best dating practices. And yes, we can say this has been going on for decades, EXACTLY! It's been decades of programming, etc. Subliminally and not.
Tony, you hit the nail on the head of telling your son he needs to just get out of the microcosm of his current environment before he really starts to date. I think a lot of people, especially from certain environments (especially small towns) and certain socioeconomic backgrounds, don't give the time to meet someone. They just gain stereotypes and settle with the 1st or 2nd person that comes along that doesn't meet their negative stereotypes.
Lastly, A LOT of Americans, especially Black Americans (I'm Black American and Liberian) think that we're the ONLY Black group of people on the whole planet. A lot don't think outside of the box or have access to knowing that there are SO many nationalities and ethnicities of people around the world that share the same Black genes and commonalities that we don't have to be confined to just dating Black Americans. We have an entire continent of Africans, islands of people of African/Black descent, etc. Knowledge is power.

I would say most black men think white or other women are better than black people and they would prefer to dilute their features (especially if they was to have a female child) and be in a mixed relationship. I would say that's the vast majority of black men. There's another group of black men that just like to try something different.

To answer your question - why are black men deliberately choosing white over black women - I think it’s a combination of things. For some, I think it could be a self-hate or Willie Lynch syndrome issue. For others, it’s perceived that white and Hispanic women are “easier” or “gives it up easier” sexually than black women will. I think there’s also a perception that black women don’t take as much stuff as a white woman will. A black woman is quicker to confront a black man about issues than a white woman will. About 15 years ago I had this conversation with one of my black male cousins, who was around 25 or 26 at the time…I was around 32. I asked him why he didn’t date black women. He remarked….cause you black females are too hard, you don’t let nobody get over on y’all. Yeah…he actually said that. So I really think a lot of black men…especially black “boys” think life is easier with a white woman because a white woman is not going to confront him like a black woman will. Then I think there’s a smaller population of black men who went to a predominantly white school, and just feel more comfortable and accepted by the white community. Then for black men who actually “make it” in their careers, being with a white Woman becomes a status symbol. So that’s why I think it’s a combination of reasons.

But one thing he did tell me, he doesn't like that most, if not all the black girls at his school wear wigs, lashes, fake nails and he just isn't attracted to that. And where the girls of the other races have a leg up is that they are natural, mixed girls have the long hair, pretty eyes, long natural lashes etc...Black girls can be the same way, hell his Mommy is one of them, I'm very much into natural beauty and I think that's what he and so many other young men are seeking these days. I agree that natural is the best way to represent yourself but it's messed up that way the narrative has been painted negatively towards BW when most of these other non BW do exactly the same thing...just my opinion of course.

So where I’m from blacks are more “affluent” have money and cars (in high school) and most of those people were not dating Caucasian people on that level but….the blacks without money definitely were dating outside the race. That’s something to definitely think about.

Hey Tony. IT'S ABOUT STATUS. REMEMBER WHEN CADILACS CAME OUT?, AND ONLY WHITE MEN COULD AFFORD THEM? WELL, WHEN A BLACK MAN WAS ABLE TO GET ONE, IT WAS SOMETHING TO BE CELEBRATED BECAUSE, IT WAS A SIGN OF 1. THE UNATTAINABLE AND 2. IT GAVE THEM THAT "I HAVE ARRIVED" MOMENT. AND 3. IT IS A SELF ESTEEM AND STATUS SYMBOL. IT GIVES THEM THEIR SELF WORTH AND SELF VALUE.

Basically a part of it is just following the trend, part of it is the assumption that different is better, part of it is genuine, part of it is economic gain sometimes for the man sometimes for the women, also other races tend to be raised to marry their own and maybe they can except a top notch ninja, also I think everyone wants a winner and winners get to choose so if they feel like this group is winning then being competitive as men thus is where they go....but wherever you go you taking your self with you
