I love how awkward he still is.
I do too, but I personally hope Papa V contrasts him by being scarier and less chatty. Think Papa II’s presence with a more youthful intensity. Like a REALLY charismatic aura, yet he’d be projecting that without doing too much movement. It’ll all be in the eyes and the way he carries himself with authority. You get what I’m describing? Think a young, really fundamentalist zealot type feel. That’d be a brilliant switch up.

It's a 350 band festival and Ghost is in the top 7 with some legends, I'd say that's amazing.
@Jay Sharp It's a 7 day festival, Ghost is the headliner for 1 of the days. Metallica, GnR, etc. are the other headliners for the other days. It also looks like Megadeth is coming on before Ghost on Saturday on the main stage.

@Jay Sharp Well first there is this thing call days, they last around 24 hours. Some days different bands will play than others. One of those things I mentioned before, DAYs, Ghost is headlining.
@@kevinvigneault7765 Well, they got two of the Big 4. It's so awkward to see Megadeath on the same bill as Metallica, even if it is on separate days. Mustaine is so fucking bitchy, almost 40 years later, about being kicked out of Metallica. He went on to form a huge band but still can't let it go.

I was there with my 15 years old daughter. Best ritual in history.

It's wild to think that in 2011 they were 3rd of 5 with Trivium and In Flames topping them in Helsinki and now they can easily outsell those twofold! I love it! Still my only ritual and it was amazing!
The funny thing is I'm 50 so you would think I would be going for Metallica or GnR, but you would be wrong. I would be be going for Ghost. I think Ghost is the best current rock band hands down. Tobias is an absolute legend. The showmanship is incredible and the songwriting even better. The new album, simply put, is a masterpiece front to back. Darkness at the heart of my love is a great power ballad. I'm a Rush fan at heart and I, mistaken or not, hear so much Rush so can't wait to see you guys.
Rush also has that funny sense of humor.
Dude you are my new best friend cause I too feel the exact same way lol. Huge Rush fan I am 31 but my Dad got me into Rush at 12 and went to my first show at 14. Went to 10 Rush shows before the last one and feel so so lucky to have gotten to see the holy Trinity that many times. Anyways Ghost has filled the Rush sized hole in my heart since Neil died. What a great band and yes the humor is also very similar to Rush I love it so much. Saw Ghost for the first time in March and will see them again in September!
I’m 40 and feel the same. I’ve been a fan of those other groups and I think that’s why I love Ghost so much. While the other bands have a solid “sound” to them, they can be enjoyed when I’m feeling a *certain* mood, where Ghost works no matter how I’m feeling. There is camp, there is humor, there is the mockery of the Satanic Panic. One thing I particularly love is when I hear a new Ghost song and don’t “get” the rhythm right away. It catches me off guard and almost disturbs me until I keep listening and find the *true* beat. I don’t find that as consistently with other bands, and that’s what makes the music so catchy and dynamic (in my opinion). Other groups, you hear the intro and you get the feel of the rhythm and beat right away, and it’s great for head banging since you can hit the beat so quickly. But with Ghost, you’re surprised. The chorus may sound completely different from the verses, and the bridge goes and does its own thing. It’s a whole tale, a whole experience. The music videos add another amazing layer of meaning with the visuals, and it’s like an entire life we’re being shown in only a few minutes. Papa knows what he is doing, and I hail him for that. He is a unique artist and we are blessed with his message.
It's so awesome to see Ghost's logo along with other legends on the bill! I keep telling everyone, Ghost will be THE band of the 20s!!!!!!

Exactly man. My dad and brother first hated the band, then I introduced them to the band. I finally convinced my dad to go see them live in Kansas and now he is the biggest ghost fan. Shirts, posters and everything.

@@velocity9920 I’ll go with dad to see them in a week in Stockholm. It will be my 9th Ghost concert and my dad’s 1st. He doesn’t dislike them and can sing along to some songs but he isn’t a fan. Why I’m going with him is because I couldn’t go with my friend and asked my dad if we could go as my birthday present and he said yes. I’m VERY excited and hope he will become a real fan after this. I’ll do a Cirice face painting on myself for the concert. So excited!
I hope to meet Tobias Forge someday. He’s such a bad ass dude! If he ever decided to make a TV show revolving around Cardi C and the Papa’s, I’d be so down for it. Tobias is a natural at what he does.
