50 years old, and Ghost is the easily my favorite “new” band in the last 20years. They made me fall in love with music again, no lie. I have one of those Ghoul masks, and I don’t know how they can stand being in them for 2 hours. I can barely wear mine for 15 minutes before I’m out of breath! Check out “Ritual” or “Year Zero” to hear the earlier, “darker” side of the band.

I'm 67 and have followed them since they released Elisabeth years ago. Still like them, especially in their heavier moments like this. But even a song like Mary on a cross I like! A great chorus is always welcome.
I'm 52 now, so we're the same age, and Ghost is my favorite band currently. Love 'em!!! Nobody sounds like Ghost. Such a fresh yet familiar take on metal.
Ghost shows were the best ones I’ve been to. They burn incense, do acoustic songs, there’s costume changes, and they throw out “mummy dust”(fake money). Each ghoul on this last tour cycle were really talented and I loved the keytar solo. 😍

@@Lurch685 From my understanding, he does also plays drums, but he knows he's not really that great, so he lets others do it for the album. I do believe he writes the drum parts. At least that was how I think it was in the past, this latest album, he may have done things different. If I am incorrect about anything, I do apologize, it's not intentional.

You can't go wrong with pretty much ANY Ghost song. They're all great.
The only time in the 21st century I was surprised by an opening act was seeing Ghost open for Iron Maiden. Fantastic show all around.
Same here. Iron Maiden in Danmark with Ghost opening. Initial thought was “What the hell is this?” They opened with Year Zero and it was absolutely incredible. Been hooked ever since.
Papa fell off the stage that night but he played it off with his brand of humor.

I guess it's kind of randomly asking but do anyone know a good place to watch new movies online ?
I went to their concert, also known as rituals. I was blown away!
They honestly have some of the best most respectful fans at live shows...last time I saw them they were at a performing arts center not designed for rock concerts so there were no barriers and no real security (aside from those that would normally work a performance if wicked) and there were no issues at all. The whole crowd was into the concert but very respectful of each other and the band.
I'm a simple girl, I see Ghost, I click.

Ghost bears some explaining. The short version (for now) is that they are a Swedish band,who does a satirical 'Satanic Church' gimmick. Their singer is kind of an anti-pope (usually 'Papa Emeritus'), and all of the musicians dress as 'Nameless Ghouls' (or Ghoulettes). Their mythology is great, and they're one of my favorites, especially live - SO FUN! Good job, guys!

Ghost have a lot of very catchy songs that get stuck in your head, they're one of the biggest bands in the genre these days. I like your Rammstein reactions, but doing some Ghost ones would be a nice change of pace. FYI the whole demonic thing is their shtick, they are not a devil worshiping band.
Year Zero, would be my recommendation for the next track to check out from them.

Ghost is a band that I've got a hate love relationship, many songs just don't do it to me, but those that I do like are definitely some top level songs. They can get stuck in my head for weeks.

Ghost are fucking awesome. I love very extreme dark stuff but I love Ghost. They are super talented, great riffs and dark lyrics. I’ve seen them live on three occasions. Once at download 2012, then at the Royal Albert Hall and last time supporting Metallica at Twickenham. Their new song Hunters Moon is sick too.

All band members except for the singer are ”unnamed ghouls” with the same masks. The singer usually wears a Pope uniform but during this era he was a cardinal. He is now Pope again. Even the singer was unnamed for many years until some former ghouls sued him. His name is Tobias Forge and considers himself the director of the band with the ghouls musicans for hire.
