The lead singer is honestly such a nice guy. I remember seeing interviews with him where people asked if he was excited to go out and party to celebrate the end of his tour and he was always like, "I'm actually really excited to go home and see my wife and kids. I pack their lunches in the morning :)"
AWWWW
This is the metal band that many people needed, a more articulated, clean, and complete band
Agreed! I just listened to their music 2 weeks ago and I’m in love!
Definitely check out more of this band. I'm a typical metal head, and while this band is a cross between metal and ABBA (they're both from Sweden), they sound amazing (have an 80s vibe) and put on a great show. They're now arena headliners and growing fast! I've seen them twice in the past 2 years.
A lot of the times 70s too :)
They're pretty much following theater rock like Alice Cooper's early work like Welcome to My Nightmare. It's clear but heavy, and the lyrics send something dark and taboo across the soundwaves, and I love every ounce of it.
@Kyle Tague They only started in 2006.
You should definitely check out "Cirice". They won a Grammy for that song. It was awesome seeing you two react to Ghost. They are a great band for sure and super fun to see live. My first time listening to them was live when they opened up for disturbed in Tampa a few years back and my GF and I were absolutely blown away by their stage presence and performance.
Meliora won the best metal album Grammy and the whole audience looked SO uncomfortable with them going up to accept. Like "No, please, don't say anything overtly satanic in this moment, our industry gets enough shit from scared conservatives." :D
@@Malkom1366 I am a new Ghost fan. I didn't watch the Grammys so I only know about them winning from seeing comments on videos. I LOVE them! I will have to look for a video of them going up to accept. Your comment made me giggle!
Ghost really is great. I only learned about them a few years ago but they’ve been around a while. I think the vocalist writes most of the music, he’s a talented dude plays multiple instruments and writes the music.
I love this reaction. You two are perfect to react together.bYou complement each other so well. This is my favorite Ghost song! Also " From the Pinnacle To The Pit" and " Ritual" are Fantastic songs!
The lead singer is the only real member of the "band" btw. He, along in the studio, does all the instruments and singing and mixes it. The only time theres other band members is when they play live or in music videos. Every tour or almost every show has different people playing the instruments also. So they're known as the nameless ghouls.
Good review! This is my favorite band. The energy live is unbelievable. The joy radiating from the crowd is nothing I've ever felt! Thanks! Dance Macabre is fun also! 🤟🎵🔥✌👻👻😈😈
Seeing you guys jam out to one of my favourite bands just made my day. And Ghost is such an amazing band, I'm glad you're not scared off by the imagery alone, like so many, and actually see past that and just enjoy their music. I'd love if you could react to more of their music. All their stuff is gold
Yeah! Ghost rocks! I can’t stop listening to them. It’s so addictive!
Saw them on this tour, excellent performance and a really good band. Thanks for the reaction 👍
I got RESPECT towards you guys. Most ppl wouldn't be opened just like you. I personally am semi-new to this band back 2018 thanks to a co-worker that show me this music from them. From that point I started listening to this band and related to. As a musician LOVE to listen different genres but this Metal music got me to the hipe. Hope you can continue listening to different kind of songs from them as well classic rock that I'm personally I'm aware... I'm going to start following you guys. STAY SAFE!!
Gotta listen to Absolution off of the album Meliora. Absolute banger
That’s probably my favourite track
This is why music is so amazing. And brings people together. Metal. Rap. Country. Anything. Anyone. Music doesn’t see color. Doesn’t discriminate. Love your guys channel
Didn't you react to Ghost's Squarehammer in the past? Another one to look at from them might be Rats. Dance Macabre too, but a lot of other channels have reacted to that. They don't have many official videos unfortunately, but if you're not scared off by fictional satanisim, there are many earhole pleasures to be found.
But basically the person behind this all is Tobias Forge. He plays the frontman (that character changes every album), writes the tunes, records everything but drums mostly. The "Nameless Ghouls" are his touring ensemble. Actually, this song is a swipe at his first lineup of touring musicians that tried to sue him over claim to royalties after they were dismissed and replaced with the line up you see here.
You’re absolutely right! It’s been a while . We are open to everything. We are non religious, so that stuff doesn’t bother us.
@@TheAdventuresofTNT I think a lot of people take Ghost too seriously, half the time they're making fun of folks that take satanism seriously...their albums are themed around historical events and also around various biblical events or prophecies...as the band has grown they've created their own back story for all of the different characters that the lead singer has portrayed on stage, basically telling the story of how the original front man was brought forth, and how his bloodline has continued to lead the band with each new album...
This was awesome great reaction! Check out Ghost- He Is
And new Ghost fans are born :D
They have so much good music
I saw Ghost three times on that album cycle. Once in a theater, the second outside, and the third inside an arena. The last concert, I was able to meet Tobias. Ghost is definitely a solid band and a really cool stage presence to boot.
Wow, that sounds exactly what I did with that tour cycle. I saw them 3 times myself (Memphis, Tulsa, and Exit 111 festival in Tennessee). Amazing band, love them!
HAIL SATAN!
I have seen them 2 times live opening for Metallica last year. The are awesome 🤘🏼
Side note: you guys have the best audio quality!
Their concerts are called "rituals". I have been to one. Definitely worth it!
Maybe try some older ghost like monstrance clock, secular haze, or year zero when he was still papa emeritus the 2nd which was his best look. He is from their latest album is a hoot too.
“He Is” is a great ballad, but it isn’t from their latest album-it’s from Meliora, their third album, which was released in 2015.
I cant find the video you used anywhere but it has the best quality
I love Ghost. Great song choice
Phenomenal song, great choice
LOL...so wrong on so many levels, but I LOVE this band! Tobias Forge is a genius! Ya'll should check out Cirice and Call Me Little Sunshine ..or HE IS. AMAZING stuff!
Saw this tour in Reno, NV - it was amazing!
We went in Omaha. SO much fun!
Square hammer is another great song by Ghost
Ritual by ghost
Great with Swedish groups. There is one that should definitely get more attention because they were involved in creating this genre as ghost moves in. The group is called tiamat :)
Tx for this! We need more Ghost!! 👻
He is!
Ummmm.......T? ......Tasha?........
This is absolutely the BEST Dolly Parton song I've ever heard!
What album is This on?
All kidding aside, Ghost freaking kicks ass! Excellent reaction to this awesome band. I admittedly have heard of them, but haven't dove into their stuff.
Yet.
I'm along with you for the ride if you want to dip into their catalog!
My bassist friend has been ragging me about learning some newer covers, and I think that Ghost is only slightly drop tuned, so they're on the menu, and I won't have to get a new guitar to play them! No 7 strings required!
Love your channel and content, keep the Ghost coming!
As always, Peace and love from Baltimore, Maryland, U.S.A!
Lol
Awesome video Yall should check out Zenith its my favorite Ghost song. Also hit up Majesty, and their cover of Here Comes the Sun. I guess i have to mention Year Zero for a reaction
Ghost is one of my favorites! And I love watching the reactions. Seen them 6 times and they put on an amazing show. You have to see them, they’re on tour now actually. It’s satire satanic.
and you can see pictures of Tobias with his son and daughter and lovely wife if you know where to look...definitely a mantatory concert...
Finally Ghost. Wtf it took so long.
We need more Ghost fans on this channel to request more music from this awesome band! My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed this band and we look forward to rocking out to more tunes from them.
The Adventures of TNT for sure.
You're welcome.
I can't find this version of this music video. Anyone know where it went?
I love Ghost so much 👻🐼More of them and your reaction will be the same 👍
This Band is so special and talented 🙏🤘❤️
Church....I waching You fall !!!
Had to pause when you said he looks like a Zombie Priest. Lol this is just the Cardinal. Look at their older material if you wanna see a real zombie priest. Papa Emeritus. Brand new to this react so I am not sure if you checked out any other stuff yet. First time I heard Ghost, I was like, meh it's alright, skipped. But then I went back and just let a full concert play while I was working on cards cause I liked his singing and Papa Emeritus look. By the time it was over, Ghost has been my favorite band since. Seen them live 3 times and met the singer in VIP. The most broad and diverse fans of all walks of life at Ghost shows, really cool, bringing people together.
Anybody knows what happened to this original video? It used to be on Ghost's channel and I can't find it anymore :( I loved that video
It might be banned in your country.
Yeah bro, you might want to fix that. It's coming up as Dolly Parton 9 to 5. Which strangely enough I was looking forward to listening to LOL
Done and done. Dolly Parton 9 to 5 is up
I was oddly looking forward to seeing that too, even though I'm a life long metalhead. 9 to 5 is just a reminder of my childhood, good memories in that movie & song.
@@mojoriot2293 exactly! That's so cool someone understood what I meant LOL. Thank you
@@pjsin9472 🤘😁👍
I played a gig with them many year's ago. I couldn't understand them at the time talking back stage there english was broken haha.
Thanks for not stopping video like all other reaction channels.
My favorite song from them.
Checkout Chris Stapleton- Tennessee Whisky (country but DAMN!).
Cool Tune, Cool Vid, Cool Reaction.... Peace!
Song fucking slaps
You do realize this is titled "Dolly Parton', 9 to 5," right?
I was gonna mention that I saw that movie in the theaters with my mom when I was a kid. We saw that movie at least 6 times in the theater, & I had the '45' single for the title song. I played that song so many times everytime someone says "9 to 5" I get the song stuck in my head for days! Though I am an OG metalhead from the early '80s, I was a bit let down when you didn't play 9 to 5...Strange, I know, but sometimes a song from your childhood gets into your head & nothing will make you dislike it.
Still, another great vid anyway. It was an ok somg, not one of my favs. I am still hoping for "Indians" by Anthrax! Catch ya next time...🤘😎😁👍
Thank you. It was an editing error. We're uploading alot of videos tonight. 9 to 5 is coming though.
Ghost is awesome! I saw them live a few years ago. Everyone in the audience dressed up like nuns and priests. The only thing I am not a fan of is the show I was at they turned the air conditioning off so it was very hot to give it an illusion of being in hell. Literally the girl beside me passed out and had to be carried out by medics. So if you ever go see them live stand in the back. Enjoyed the reaction to this one! Check out the song “Dance Macabre.”
Lol
They must have got bigger since I seen them. I seen them in 2013 opening for Avenged Sevenfold on the Hail to the King tour. It was summer in Atlanta so they didn't need to pretend that it was hot as hell. Lol
Was that by chance a show that they opened for Iron Maiden? The reason I ask is that we experienced a similar thing at that show - the arena was allegedly held at 80 degrees due to a request from Iron Maiden- Dickinson's voice needs warm air after his cancer treatment. so they left it plenty hot.
Matt Krogmeier This would have been in 2016 at their Black to the Future tour. I wish I had a chance to see them with Maiden. That would have been a good show. 🤘🏻
Bex Whiteside very cool! I got to see that tour at a small venue in Lawrence, KS, right as Meliora was released. The Maiden opening slot was fun, but damn was it hot in there.
why the original video has disappeared?
ya'll should listen to mary on cross live from tampa florida
Papa!!!!👻
Year Zero by Ghost please!
But the uncensored version.
Year zero is a good one, love them,, the band are called ghouls
You need to check out Dogma the band
Best part 2:51 dudes! You're welcome.
Like a scary church lol. There all scary talking about where your gona go when you die. Nobody knows 🖤🖤🖤 love ghost
check out the video for ghost "rats"
Ghost is hella good.
Please come back to Ghost
Might have mislabeled this one.
Ghost- Witch Image
Wrong video?
Just letting y'all know if you didn't this band is based on satan Wich I love by the way
Is that a moustache/beard I see on the female
Two words Jason Becker
I wrote this
They are mocking the Catholic church. Which I don't have a problem with.
God this is pathetic that this is the only way to view this video that was out there way before this nonsense. What the ????
Wouldn't you two rather listen to Jay-Z or Kanye or something more suited
I mean you obviously don't enjoy this genre of music, why pretend?
Meh. Yawn.
