You also have to remember.. this has happened before. Towards the end of the Terzo era, there were so many theories floating around, but I don't think we all expected them to forcibly pull Papa 3 off the stage (I remember girls in the crowd screaming in shock, no joke) or to later kill the first 3 papa's.. many people were shocked and flipping out after that video they showed at Irving plaza, of the ghouls killing the 3 papa's with a big needle of poison. I was like "WHAAT?!?! NOOOO!'.
So all I'm saying is, expect the unexpected, because with Tobias, you just never know for sure until it happens. And he certainly knows how to build anticipation and get people talking about ghost. Hell, many of us have been talking and theorizing about them for years now.. we have a great, rabid fan base of ghouls and I love it!
I like Ghost a lot. Saw them a bunch of times, and love the whole concept and storyline. But dude c'mon. You seem like crazy invested in this. I hope you're in your teens. If you are, relax. Go get laid. If you're NOT in your teens, relax. Go get laid. Either way, the super fan thing is cringe inducing.
love how in all the fanfics Copia is always the responsible one and doing all the paper work until he literally passes out...and then there's Tobias just going like: well nope
He was 2th employee of the month during years. He WAS overworked during a long time, now that he's Papa he is more relaxed. Give the ratboy some time, he deserves it😭😭
I'd like to imagine that he gets so distracted doing silly things like gaming that he ends up having to stay up doing actual work that way I can read fanfics and make it make a bit more sense lol

Ok but CC is obviously Nihil and Sister's son, which the reason why he was the only not yet Papa to be given the IV role. So, won't kill him I believe. Will maybe have all popes being resurrected for the tour or Nihil as he did mention he wanted another go. The Sep 11 concert may be a pro-shot video and live album with a new song as well which will answer the Jesus is coming question.
Additional thoughts...
In chapter 11? I think Nihil said to CC, you have done 26 shows, you need to do 150. Is Sep 11 the 150th? AND, latest chapter SIster assures CC he doesn't have to worry about that (coffin), Jesus is coming. Then the " finally" from CC, releaved. That says it all, this Jesus thing will assure CC his time on earth won't be coming to an end any time soon. hopefully, this ages well haha.

As a nameless Ghoul once said, Papa Emeritus is a pun. Emeritus is a title given to someone who retires, and a pope can only retire when hes dead. All Papas must die. But I think Copia sees the signs and is gonna do something about it. But perhaps he will die and Nihil will be resurrected to take over as "V"
& with them going more mainstream recently, bringing back some of the old could be a good idea!
Curious- why the sep 11 date? Is that concert different from the others?
Also- the “Jesus is coming” reference may come to fruition sooner, bc Easter is soon and that’s when Jesus is supposed to come!

He's the only Papa to have two albums so he's already living on borrowed time. I first got into the band during his era so I've never been through a transition before.

You can't deny the depth of detail and effort Tobias puts into these chapters. I mean he had someone build a new 8-bit video game just to have it onscreen for maybe 20 seconds. 🎮
It's probably just animated. Nobody would create a real game.

You can't be serious...I'm all for giving accolades and love Ghost, but I can make a similar animation to that game in After Effects in a couple of weeks a professional production team could probably do it in 2 days. Then you film some takes with someone faking like they are playing it along with the animation and BOOM! "Video Game Prop".

Recording to Tobias, he doesn't really like anything repeatedly (like papa's death), plus there's no "new character" coming up, so there might be a chance that Copia could turn up into anitchrist

Tobias saying that he's doing taxes while playing video games is definitely something I can relate to but with homework in college
I love how they put so much effort into animating the video game, just the detail is incredible. Like the way you can see Papas face in the rear view mirror as the game is on paused.

Uhm no papa was killed in any live show. Only Nihil died during the sax solo live but all the others were killed in a chapter episode

I have a theory. everyone is concerned that copia is gonna die because of the "when the summer dies, severing the ties" bit. but no one actually remember the "respite on the spitalfield" lyric. After seeing the chapter #16, when Sister announces the Jesus coming, waving in strange way a number 5 (like the fifth pope). I think this predicts a war with the clergy, (here "severing the ties" has a total new meaning). In order to preserve Copia, they need to break him free. So I think that he'll be fleeing away with Jesus (?) Or Sister and retire, and the antichrist will come "from the bowels of hell" and become papa V.
Papa IV's days seem to be numbered.... Probably the date in LA where no one is allowed to film
