+Connor Farrell In their defense, the metal award takes place before the actual show. Many people hadn't even arrived yet, or were simply waiting for their friends to show up. They weren't interested in the awards being handed out at that time...... but, at the same time, I agree that the Grammy's suck when it comes to metal recognition.

Is the Grammys one of those awards where they have a separate show for the less popular awards? Like they do for technical awards at the Oscars? Maybe that's it. ProgHead777 back in the 80's and 90's the Grammy's use to telecast the metal/hard rock category during the actual show but over the recent year's the Grammy's think metal is dead and they no longer care showing it on TV.

Between this and the live concerts I totally understand why they use the new Ghoul masks with the mouths cut out. They sound like they're trying to talk with socks wadded up in their mouths.

I'm a 47 year old mom of two... a 21 yr. Old daughter and a 12 yr. Old son. We love music and love concerts, that's our thing. The first time I heard my son playing a song from Ghost I was instantly addicted. This band is so amazing! Polite fine people they are. I think it's sad that they're music is not on the radio and they're not getting more recognition. Such a talented group. What they need to do is take the trash music off the air and start playing some awesome music from some great artist like Ghost. By the way after 8 months I took my son to a Ghost concert all I can say is this band is GREAT! PLEASE COME BACK TO THE BARCLAY CENTER IN BROOKLYN, MSG OR SOMEWHERE IN LONG ISLAND SOON.
