I really love how nice Papa is to all of their fans. He talks to almost everyone and just seems like a really nice and laid back person.

Still one of my favorites.. I was so happy to be able to join in with the Shaker.. I was surprised he remembered my name.. Even alpha and omega remembered and were very nice when we met.. So much fun.

the fact that he remembered that dudes name after having literally just met him then singing a song say alot about him. these guys clearly do cherish their fans and their art. im late to the Ghost party but they have become my favorite band. from a guy who has every Whitechapel, Suicide Silence and Lamb of God cd.

Norbite C i heard about them a while ago and saw pictures of them and was thinking "fuck yeah", so expecting something heavy i got He Is for my first experience. not gonna lie, i was really disappointed. BUT...... a friend made actually listen to Cirice and From the Pennicle to the Pit and i lve been stuck ever since.
Were you able to see them on the Popstar tour? They put on an awesome show.

Audience participation at it's best. Ghost has the most respectful audience ever. People actually listen Papa Emeritus/Copia when he asks them not to do something....like grope the Sisters of Sin when they're in the audience. Absolutely admirable that Tobias Forge goes out of his way to ensure that if children are present they're comfortable with him being in character.
When you realize that most people don’t realize that papa Emeritus is the same person every time lol. That’s what makes them great, they have a story
The range of Papa's voice is amazing

The one thing I love about Ghost is that all of them are incredibly polite and Papa respects the Ghouls as much as they respect him. I think that's the one thing that makes Ghost so enjoyable for general audiences and all ages.

Just discovered this band, so glad I did. They seem like really cool guys, friendly and a sense of humour. They don't take themselves too seriously.
I hope you checked out their last CD. It was amazing.
Eight years on, how has the journey been? Still a fan? What differs in your perspective and enjoyment now as opposed to eight years ago? I'm just curious as I just discovered them myself a few days ago and they're pretty great.

By the way, is the final part of Genesis actually part of the song or is it a cover of something else? I know they do covers of other songs, but I don't know if it's part of it or a cover, since it just kind of fades into the acoustic part.

I'm literally sobbing because I just discovered them this year and I've been utterly obsessed, I went to my first ritual and I've been watching youtube videos of them nonstop and it hit me I'll never get to see smaller shows or acoustic shows or meet them because they're way too big now and it's just breaking my heart. I love them and Tobias so much.
This performance sealed the deal for me - these guys are genuine, funny, and talented. I can't wait to see them in Chicago on October 3rd. It'll be especially fun since Halloween will be approaching. Ghost!!!

How the Nameless Ghouls can perform with those masks and outfits is pretty amazing. Papa has such a great voice.

The crowd's involvement with singing makes me want to go to a ghost show even more. In fact I did, when they opened for Iron maiden which itself was amazing. Yet I was the only one singing it seemed when papa told us to, cause most people were there for Maiden. The ghost shows that they run are the ones to go to if you want a full experience with them.

Baby Emiritus I and the Kazoo were great. Papa III seems to be a bit more of a crowd pleaser.
The way he just trusted everyone with the instruments and gave them clear instructions. So nice and gentle.

Amoeba is one of my favorite stores in the entire country. I'm upset that I wasn't in town to catch Ghost though. But I will be seeing them twice later on this year. Can't wait! Thanks for this! Good band.
Got into Ghost a bit over a year ago, managed to travel country for my first ritual in Berlin a month ago and oh how things have changed but remained the same. God I wish I got to know them sooner..
They REALLY need to put out an unplugged album.... the acoustic versions are better most times then the original....by a long shot...

I think they tried to go back to Papa I when they came up with Papa III.
The "Nameless Ghoul" (likely Tobias Forge) who does the interviews stated that he wasn't a fan of Papa II, and missed Papa I.
However, as an "in-universe" theory, I speculate that Papa II and Papa III are actually the sons of Papa I. It could explain the funky mismatched eyes that all of them have ;). Genetics.
+Ketchup Revenge I believe they've stated in their marketing material that each "Papa" are brothers, separated by a few years, with each Papa getting younger.
