Like imagine finding out your normal looking neighbor was exposed for speaking inappropriately to minors online. Women or men I think it would be taken more seriously if she was just a normal person.

She got relatives asking kids about “what’s your favorite position” at the bbq??? Also, you can't claim to be taking accountability when you don't address anything directly, and in the next breath call this whole thing "toxic gossip". What??? Basically, she's saying here, "I moved on from this. If you haven't moved on from this (even though it was never addressed and I never gave my victims closure) you're toxic and just trying to destroy my career." She needs help.

As a victim of grooming myself, it’s really interesting the way Colleen reacts. When I confronted the guy who groomed me he reacted in a similar way, instead of owning up to it he acted like it was a joke and he said I was being dramatic. (I was 15 and he was 26) it’s infuriating to see Colleen act so immature.

She definitely damaged the psyche of many of her fans but the “ruined their lives” remark I don’t like because I don’t want the victims to feel as though they can come out stronger. I was groomed by a 32 year old man when I was 14 who used the exact kind of language Colleen did, and asked extremely similar questions until it eventually led to him being arrested and going to federal prison for his actions/crimes against me. The incidents on stage with Colleen asking children to put their hands down her pants are not just a “funny gag”, it’s an attempt by an adult to instigate a sexual situation with a child. Her song was a slap in the face to any of her victims, and anyone that’s been groomed.
I am so glad that he went to prison but sorry you had to experience this vile person.

hi. i was groomed by a 32 year old woman when i was 13, and although there was no physical abuse, the emotional abuse has lasted me for life. i’m 25 now. thank you for saying all of this. honestly watching some videos on the situation has been very triggering for me, like the detailed ones about how she made them feel special.. that’s what my abuser did to me. she also messed with my heart and brain because I had feelings for her and she told me i wasn’t gay so i spent the next two years very very confused until i figured it out myself.
i just wanted to share my story too because the age gap is so similar to yours. i am so glad your abuser is in prison. mine is still a teacher working with middle schoolers… i hope someday she’s locked up.

I think even if we remove all of the inappropriate talk, she’s still a grown ass woman surrounding herself with minors and that’s WEIRD. Like why would any grown woman need to be in group chats with minors, confide in minors, talk about her personal life and failing marriage with minors, etc.?

Honestly, Colleen, Josh, Kory, Trent and the entire Ballinger family need to be investigated.

This is the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen. I'm embarrassed and it's not even me singing. I don't know how she can sit there and say she didn't know she should have boundaries and yet she was an adult the entire time and they were kids.
