For everyone that has commented kind words i appreciate you and your encouragement. For the rest who think i am a horrible person or did even worse to my own children, Ive spent the past 7 years trying my hardest to make up for my actions, i own that and ive asked for forgiveness more times than i can count. Not that i have to answer nor explain myself to anyone here. Not everybody has the courage to share to the world all my mistakes. But i do it in hopes of helping someone else. Not for your judgement. I know when i leave this world my God in Heaven is who will make that judgement. Bless you all.

Lucky indeed!!! Human trafficking happens because life is a life and death, horribly transactional thing. Every meal is a funeral for something. The sun causes cancer. O2 is treating your blood in a manner not unlike Leukemia. This period in modernity wherein we tried (most correctly) to respect women, children and the disabled was a VERY unusual, VERY outlandish thing that will prove to have been a brief anachronism fueled by exhuberance, not compassion. Exploitation of women and children has been the RULE in human history. We will now resume our normal abuse because the world is breaking out in END GAME resource wars. NO ONE will have the time for decency or compassion. It WILL be dog eat dog. FFS, Harvard & MIT just released and re-released papers asserting that the entire short future of humanunkind is endless wars over water, food and FF. The above is HORRIBLE & wrong. ..and will soon get much worse. We did every apathetic and conformist thing we could do to insure this horrible day arrived. There's the bed you made. Lie down in it.

The paths you've walked in the darkest of spaces have enabled you to see and embrace the light and purpose you have on this planet. What courage to share your story publicly. You are articulate, brave, and an example of perseverance and endurance in this life. I hope your story is heard by those who need it most. How amazing what you are doing now to help others. WOW YOURE A MINORITY!! The LARGEST PART OF TRAFFICKING is self trafficking and if you’re telling the truth and REALLY DO KNOW the industry and underworld that well THEN YOU KNOW WOMEN TRAFFIC THEMSLEVES!! Hooking/ Prostituting is done mostly online these days and women create their own profile, and their own accounts and websites and all claim ‘INDEPENDENT’ that means NO PIMP! You know more than anyone that women traffic themselves!!! Please self snitch and try to come back and shame me for telling the truth and exposing the biggest lie in prostituting TODAY IN THE LAST DECADE AND HALF. EASILY EASY AND MOSTLY the past 15yrs women all make their own profiles and websites and hook their own bodies and LIE AND MANIPULATE AND EXAGGERATE THE PITY. It’s ssoooooo gross and pathetic and amazing the pity party MOST WHORES LIE about being victims. Women are LARGELY PIMPS AND TALK THEIR YOUNG TEEN FRIENDS AND EVEN ADUOT FRIENDS INTO DOING IT! NO DIFFERENT THAN DOING HEROIN THE FIRST TIME.
Soooooo what if the girl in the video did a blow job to get a chicken McNugget happy meal !! SOOOO WHAT?? That was a self choice! Men are broke and beg for change and get their happy meal, it’s sooo pathetic the BIG LIE women say about HAVING TO, NO CHOICE. Well where do all the old ugly fat handicapped homeless men get their Mcchiken nugget money?? Funny how women just manipulate and lie and exaggerate .
YOU DONT FOOL REAL ADULTS. You don’t fool real experienced educated experienced humans that know the truth that women lie sooo grossly for attention.
You story may be true, BUT MOST ARENT. Most women are lying for attention and hand outs and free money because they are LAZY.
Kids, young me , women not in the drug and hooking under world DONT BE FOOLED! Stop giving money and attention and sympathy and stop being FOOLS. You’re all fools and fooled and gullible and easily sold as pathetic chumps and MARKS AND TARGETS AND TRICKS AFOR THESE WOMEN. These women are ‘independent workers’ with no pimps and create their own porn and hooking and prostitute websites for sex work. You all , you masses giving likes and donations and comments of sympathy are pathetic gullible losers and you all got sold a lie. WAKE UP FOOLS! These women are professional LIARS. Professional con artists. Professional theirs who scam and rob and steal from these male clients.
This chick in the video admits she stole the rappers guns and jewelry and cash and gold etc !! SHES TELLING YOU SHES A THEIF AND YOURE FALLING FOR IT!!! You got told the truth and you’re still empathetic!!
My god! You masses are dumb! My god you masses are easily stoopid fools that still have sympathy for theirs and hookers! Shame on you fools! Wake up people!

Karla, I'm so proud that you can finally view your past self with love, compassion, and understanding. That’s a significant milestone in the healing process. You are deserving of love ❤️ Thank you so much for sharing your story with us and helping us understand the impact of human trafficking and trauma, so we can work to prevent it❤️

When I was a child, similar things happened and the part where she revealed the behaviours at school hit me hard. People are so cruel and I remember being bullied as well. Now that I'm older and have broken the cycles of generational trauma I always remind myself. You have no idea what others have been through and they don't know the scars underneath my own big and helpful eyes. Thank you for sharing this. You are not alone.

Mark, thank you for what you do. Im a recovering addict from Baltimore and its insane how many women just like her i met and knew and heard stories from, its important for “normal” society to know and understand what happens every single day under everyones noses. The fact you have a platform that you use to spread people’s stories is just amazing.

When I was on the street using I met SO many women who thought it was normal to sell their bodies. Never once did I resort to that because I was taught to steal instead and I luckily had a man who would sell his own ass before he ever let me sell mine to get us high. But I've met women whose supposedly loving partners wait while they service ppl and then get high with that money. It honestly blew my mind.

You were a child and should have been protected. I truly hope you can find peace. As someone suffering from complex PTSD myself I know that is not easy. I just want to wrap you in a warm, comforting hug, only if you'd like that of course.

I was also abused but not trafficked. I was sexually abused for about 3-4 years by a Sunday school teacher (male). What I learned later was to focus on my future and not on looking backwards. Looking backwards is only a lesson in frustration because you can do nothing about it. Yesterday is gone. There is only right now and hopefully tomorrow. You're out there doing it Karla! Thank you for sharing your heart and life. I'm praying that God protects and blesses you the rest of the way.

"knowing who we are at the deepest and most profound levels of our being and building our lives upon that foundation. We're all just walking each other home. We need each other."

Took no offense at all. I was grateful to be educated by this patient and by this video. I felt a bit shameful that I wasn’t more aware. No offense to men but if it was a largely male problem there would probably be more resources available to help this matter. I felt good that we contacted all available resources for her and secured a safe place for her but after I thought about it for so many nights and started watching videos to educate myself about this, I realized that we really couldn’t give her everything needed to get out of this way of living. She came back a couple other times worse than she was when I first met her. Then we heard of her passing. I will always remember her

I used to work for the ministry of children and I dealt with a lot of kids who predators in their lives. I have seen the damage of not being loved at young age. I eventually hit burn out, and took a 3 week break to a cabin, with just my dog. I wouldn't answer the phone for 2 weeks and at the end I realized that I was done. I have a lot of respect for people who go from victim to teacher
