Actually I always liked NCR. It got something that bringed me in to it.The only sad thing is that you can't actually join them in NV. You know, you can't become a trooper or a NCR Vet.That's kinda sad.
Depending on your actions, the Courier can retroactively become an NCR civilian. That and there are advantages to having a specialist who isn't bound by the constraints of the beige NCR uniform. Still... it would have been really cool to become an NCR Ranger.
The Enclave are fascist collectivists wearing a mask of Stars and Stripes, they really are the deep-state in post apocalyptic America. The NCR are very much different, though they follow the Stars and Stripes, they seem rather naive of it, yet they are the only faction in fallout that truly embodies liberty and democratic values. They are the true continuation of America. For better and worse. Maybe that’s why I love them so much, flaws and all. They may not follow their symbols perfectly, yet they still follow it. Gotta love that freedom, man. Gotta love that democracy. With any luck, the NCR may fix its own problems with time. NCR AND PROUD!
One nice thing about the ncr is it is probably the only place in the world that doesn't look like a bombed out hellhole. Even the strip in the Mojave is blown up
To the replies: Shady sands is only the capital, the NCR is a huge nation and probably still exists unless Todd engages in some mischief as he usually does.
**Got one of the GECKS ready for the development of the vault 18 town. I wouldn’t exactly call either faction good. The whole point of the game is that you’re exposed to both the pros and cons of each faction you work with. The NCR is shown to be overly ambitious and often times militaristic, charging heavy protection taxes on the towns it annexes, often without their consent. Plus, it’s an organization that’s stretched thin, half of the progress of the NCR in the game doesn’t happen without the courier’s intervention.
You know there’s the Other state song: California here I come. It was featured as the theme for California’s Gold on PBS and is perfect for the NCR expeditionary forces in the Mojave and Baja.
I’m the president of the United States of America land and I say this is a very delightful video you got here son good job, your country would be proud solder 🇺🇸🫡

Just a friendly suggestion, maybe don't take your shore leave in Shady Sands. No reason, just figure the 'ol capital might be a little too *booming*. I hear Vault City is quite pleasant this time of year, actually.
If your a veteran ranger then you were probably originally a desert ranger before the unification treaty. In which case the Mojave and more specifically Nevada would be your home, not California.
@@nightmarexgaming120 I can't neither confirm or deny, if California or the Mojave is my home ;) for more information, please talk to press officer of the ranger corp in vault city.

But by saying that, you admitted to the Enclave that you support the NCR
"Look at how they massacred my boy"- NCR fans after watching the TV show
God bless the NCR

Even if the Enclave failed, the NCR is the current faction most likely to be the political entity that will resurrect the USA.
