    Great video Jonathan, so clear and easy to understand. I wish you were located in the US so I could get lessons directly from you. You are the best coach on YT by far.

    Good stuff 👍🏻
    Another mistake I see, that I’ve been working on lately:
    Since we play the ball forward and the right hand is below left, the left shoulder is often OPEN.
    You can see your feet, knees & hips, and are easier to square up, but the shoulders can still be OPEN. Also, I notice when, once setup, if you take one last look toward the target, that also can OPEN the SHOULDERS. This often results in a PULL or a SLICE.
    I have been focusing on getting the shoulders square (or even slightly closed, given real and feel are two different things) and I’ve been driving the ball better than ever.
    p.s. I have the opposite problem (from “hitting driver like an iron”) I hit driver fairly well, but sometimes struggle with irons. I think I hit level or maybe a bit UP with irons (as I do with the driver) and struggle to hit DOWN into the ball with irons.
    Please do a complimentary video (“Hitting irons, not like driver”) 😏
    Keep up the good work.

    Seriously, you are by a large margin the best video instructor I've ever watched. You must have been an education major turned golfer because the way you are able to confer information is far beyond anyone on youtube. No one else is putting out information they way you are. You and I have fixed my swing. It means a lot to me so thank you so much for your hard work. I'll be contacting you for video lessons.

    I keep hitter bathe ball to the right so much that I change my stance to off set hoe far right the ball goes.
    I still practice to stand correctly but because of the ball going right it seems like the only thing I can do to get the ball to go in front of where I’m standing I move my stance to compensate and it off set the ball and I end up getting the ball closer to where I want it to go
    But I’ll try everything you said in this video and see how that works for me.

    Which would you recommend between stack and tilt vs conventional ?

    • @JKMGolf
      @JKMGolf  Год назад

      well I think both have their strong points but I think that for a beginner following a system is always best so that there is no guessing or there is a lower chance of getting lost in information. I would say that if you can follow stack and tilt for fundamentals that would be best.

    Hey Johnathan quick question, can that take away drill be used for all clubs ?

    • @3spressoShot
      @3spressoShot 2 года назад +1

      no johnathan but yes, because the point of the drill is to promote a body turn instead of just pulling/getting disconnected with the arms. that being said you might find that you don't need as big of a turn for your irons. some people play 3/4 swings for irons and never do a "full" swing

    Appreciate if u can share a video on this

    • @3spressoShot
      @3spressoShot 2 года назад

      its not the hands that go back its the shoulders that turn. go back as far as your body can turn and don't reach back further then your hands.. that's how people get their hand disconnected.
