The Coaster Idiots finally visit Six Flags Magic Mountain! This is my first time back at the park since May of 2017. We attended the park in January after the holidays so as expected, many coasters were closed.

This is my home Six Flags park and yes, it's both the greatest and dumpiest "premiere coaster park" in the US (maybe the world).
We got el toro Ryan with a musician and coaster studios with an NFL player, the battle of celebrities with coaster enthusiasts

Lol I also had a real six flags experience last time I was there (1 train on X2, TC and tatsu never opened, the premier rides coasters opened 4 hours late, free style machines out of everything) and yet I still was super happy I went. This park is just something else

I’ll always have a soft spot for Goliath despite its lack of airtime hills, since it was my first “big” coaster. Desperado at Buffalo Bill’s is the closest normal hyper we have in the west and it’s a giant lawn decoration at this point.
Man Squishy...I used to just LOVE Desperado at Buffalo Bill's. My family would always make the stop in Primm and I'd always get to at least run in and ride(sometimes reride). Was a blast before it just got too rough. They just didn't keep good care of it imo. 😪 Sad. Miss that Coaster. I know it was nothing special layout wise but it just was a fun ride to me. My favorite in the Vegas area!
Be neat if it got relocated and refurbished a bit to get it running smoother and faster. New paint and a new theme. Might make for a great investment for a smaller park looking to make a leap into hyper without paying hyper money...

Magic Mountain was my home Six Flags park growing up. My last visit there was in 2015 and I got to ride Twisted Colossus. It is dumpy but does have a good coaster collection.
Im sure its tough as hell, but you need to keep this crew together! Great videos with all you guys

I've actually lost my car key in steel vengeance's locker before because it somehow dropped through a small hole on the support structure that runs through all the lockers. Thankfully since cedar point isn't six flags magic mountain, someone found it in their lower locker and gave it to an employee and I got it back. I'd rather always keep my stuff in a zippered pocket no matter what.

We’re actually pretty decent friends! We rode rides at CP in the summer of 2019 and we went to Great America and got constant re-rides on Goliath due to low crowds.

When I visited Magic Mountain for the first time in August 2021, I rode 12 out of the 19 (soon to be 20 when Wonder Woman makes its debut) coasters that were there.
The coasters I rode were Revolution, Viper, X2, Ninja, Speedy Gonzales, Goliath, Riddler’s Revenge, Full Throttle, Twisted Colossus, Scream, Batman: The Ride, and Apocalypse.
I haven’t gotten the chance to ride Gold Rusher, Road Runner Express, Tatsu, Superman: Escape From Krypton, or West Coast Racers. Nor did I have the chance to ride any of the flat rides.
Perhaps I’ll be able to check out the flat rides as well as the other coasters the next time I visit Magic Mountain, probably sometime after Wonder Woman opens.
I enjoyed your whole Cali trip. I grew up near MM so I have my love for that park, but thank you for callin it a dump. It is and that park should be clean, themed, and full of complimentary flat rides. They need to hear it. Used to be so many, now not so much. Nowadays, I live near Seaworld San Diego! Glad you guys liked my skyrocket2. But Manta is so overshadowed on the grander-scheme, it's such a great ride. Come back for Emporer soon. If you hit me up, I'll roll to Legoland with y'all. Lived within 20 minutes of it since opening, but never went... curious what the owners of Alton Towers has out here!
