Paula’s and Alicia’s scene of Replicants PCs questioning their selves and deciding to be who they are, “real” or not, was to me a powerful one, and strikes at the core of Bladerunner inspired moral questions. Thank you both!
I think the idea for replicant emotions is that they have them, they just don't have a lifetime of contextualization for them. So, the interface with their own emotional life as children. However, since they're super intelligent and have adult brains, they don't act like children. I think they're kind of portrayed as people with a very poor grip on their emotional situation and are prone to outbursts. Officer K was living a pretend life with his AI girlfriend, and falling for the marketing hook line and sinker. He buys into this idea that he's the world's protagonist, and has a full on freak out at the memory centre. Later, he's able to contextualize the world and his place in it, and uses his abilities to help others. Leon is upset by the VK questioning, so he guns down a police officer while on camera. Luv likes treating people like toys, and having her nails done while she blows them apart with artillery. She stabs a police officer in a fight to the death, but what's really on her mind is 'I'm the best one!' She's so impressed with herself that she drowns moments later.
This is simply a stellar group🥰 Please make this a continuing series🥰😇 Free League is my new goto maker for the best RPGs with a stellar engine🥰🥰 The 'butfly' note refers to someone known for making replicant butterflies if I remember right😇
Tangent to the episode but I just want to shout out old school T9 predictive texting -- at its peak it has a great advantage over modern standard virtual keyboards, namely being able to quickly compose messages one-handed without having to look at the screen/device.
Great show everyone! It was mentioned that Skid had also ran the first case file Electric Dreams - can you share the link for that please? I want to listen to that too now. 🙂
Paula’s doing a great job roleplaying her character. GC with the top personnel choices again.
aw thanks!

It was so good! Thanks for watching!
Paula starts by asking, "Do _I_ dream of electric sheep?"
Can't wait to see what Skid does with Blade Runner.
I suggest going back to watch part 1 then. 😅 Spoiler - it's beautiful.
Fun Video would Love it if the Show continues for a longer run.

Skid is a really good GM.
Skid is the best!
Such a nice easy style letting the players role-play without forcing stuff to happen. Great work Skid! Denizens loves ya!

That one is on our Twitch Channel. twitch.tv/theglasscannon
@@TheGlassCannon Hi, ah ok. Cool, I'll check that out too. Thanks!
I'm hoping Skid keeps messing up the name, with all the vowels. Baz, Bez, Biz, Boz, Buz 😄
❤
In human terms replicants might have low emotional intelligence. Fully realised adult brain without history of experience to understand them well.
But fly
'i'd rather get healed up and not die than get promoted, i'm a month from retirement anyway' it's this weak mindset that's holding people back 😉
