Love your hair in the front braids. Im probably older than your mom but it reminds me of my hippie days in the late 70’s when I wore my hair that way! Aahhh to be young again!❤
I think in one of her older videos she said her mom is 65. I'm in my mid-50s, so not there _quite_ yet, but...soon.... I think, because she's said she has dry skin, she appeals to we "more mature" ladies 😉 as well as her peers. She has a broad reach 😊
i dont know why... but i am OBSESSED with your channel. your face and the way you do makeup is so aesthetically pleasing and i love your product reviews. i think your opinions are honest and your channel is just a bunch of fun! just genuine fun
Kelly, for the brown mascara hunt; you should try the new chocolate dripped tubing mascara that Rudi Berry did with Beaubble, I’ve heard great things about the formula, that the colour is VERY chocolaty and a much lighter brown than most “brown” mascaras.
The BareMinerals lip liner has the exact same amount of product as the rimmel london lip liners. Most lip liners have .04 oz of product. The product may perform better, but the amount is no different. I don't mean for this to sound aggressive in any way and I'm sorry if it does. I just wanted the right info out there. That's all.
My guess is that she's sharpened them a similar amount of times and the Rimmel sharpens softer/eats more product, so she's going through it faster, and it SEEMS like there's less product.
True, they may be the same weight but pencils sharpen at different rates based on the wood quality. Add in the the density of the lip liner and the concentration of pigment and two pencils of the same weight can last at different rates. I see this with colored pencils; I have vintage high end Primsa color pencils from the 70’s that still outlast brand new crayola, even though my kids and I use them all heavily.
That new Patrick Ta blush in Just Enough looks like it was made for you. Well, i haven't seen it in person, but the swatches & reviews seem like your color
My perfect brown mascara is the Maybelline Sky High in True Brown. Here in Canada I have only ever found it in Rexall drugstores and some Walmarts. I have also purchased it from Amazon in the past but they haven’t carried this particular shade in a long time now. Please note that It is not to be confused with their black brown shade!
KELLY I so appreciate you. Your videos have literally been the soundtrack to my mornings for like a year now lol. This one came out just in time!!! Thank you girl❤️
Honestly, Tarte blush formula is my absolute favorite in the market because it’s a buildable blush and in a world where everything is pigmented and everyone wants pigmentation I like that I get to choose what I want off the bat
LOVING the huda beauty peach pie powder!! the hype was real… i rarely feel that hype is earned but that powder has changed my makeup game completely. also been loving bullet lipsticks, specifically the charlotte tilbury pillow talk medium:)
My favorite lip combo for that washed out red/sunburnt lips look is the lano lips in spiced and Clinique chubby stick in fig. Omg it’s my everyday go to. My natural looks have zero pigment so I’m always wearing a lippy.
I like those adobe shades (lighter than terracotta & not as orange) I call them "tawny nudes" but it seems like they get called Rosey now which throws me a little since rose is a cooler pink or red in my mind. I already wear a bronzer so I dont need an orange or brown blush but don't want a bright cool pink either.
“Barely there blush” YES! I love this! I completely agree about the Saie blush shade “chilly” too- it’s fine but not my perfect shade. I want to pick up “spicy” but you’re making me want to add “rosy” to my wish list too!
@@magpiesneedle2575 bff2 on the outside (cool tone, slightly deeper than my natural lip color) and Bumble in the middle (warmer, same depth as my lips)
I got two mini highlighters from the raw beauty mini bundle. I use that as a mixer with cream blushes if I want to amp up the glow. I love your travel recommendations and I love the fact that you’ve reset your everyday makeup routine and products.
Kelly, I miss when you experimented with your makeup more. I remember watching you maybe 2-3 years ago, and the Elf Wanderlust palettes was one of your favourites at the time and your makeup was a lot more experimental and colourful. Although most of the products you talk about are unavailable in my country, I still loved watching you talk about makeup. Maybe there's been a change in your preferences or you've experienced some sort of evolution in your makeup journey where you're more attracted to nude makeup now (which is okay!). Just wanted to say that I miss your old makeup looks!
My three holy grail powders are the Elf Perfect Finish HD Setting Powder, Bella Pierre Banana Setting Powder and Savvy Minerals Natural Organic Shimmer Veil Highlighter in Diamond Dust. What I love about these three products and what I use them for is when I'm done doing my complexion makeup. I use the banana setting powder after my contour, the perfect HD finish setting powder after my complexion and the shimmer veil highlighter in diamond dust after I go in with the HD powder. It gives you that beautiful natural glow since it dies it down and makes you looked pulled together. Kelly if you haven't tried any of these go order them and buy them. What I learned in makeup school is that everyone needs a HD setting powder in their lives to give you that airbrushed makeup celebrity look.
Ooooo girl, if you love these types of blushes I HIGHLY recommend Em Cosmetic’s Heavens glow blush in Baroque. It’s gorgeous. It works for me when I’m muted with a fair/light complexion during the colder season and also looks gorgeous when my complexion is more saturated and light-boarder line light medium in the summer. (I’m olive so my complexion can drastically change during the year) It’s my perfect blush-bronzer with a healthy sheen hourglass blushes tend to give (or beige) blush that’s *chefs kiss*
I am on the hunt for the perfect brown mascara too, and the closest one I found is the essence lash without limits brown mascara or the colorpop act natural mascara in brown!! Im obsessed with both of them💗
I wasn’t crazy about elf lash n roll or the lash extender, but layered together lash n roll first and topped with the lash extender…they’re a nice combo.
Ok I have a product recommendation for you. Without a doubt the BEST glowy all-over bronzer/blush of all time for your and my skin tone is the EM cosmetics heavens glow blush in baroque. I literally could get rid of all my other cheek products because that does EVERYTHING for me
Love all my Natasha eyeshadow… there is something special about those colors they are just perfect for me love all the my dream items!!! Especially the 3 pan blush I use it for eyeshadow too 🤍🤍🤍
I really like the ELF lash xtender mascara too 😊 once I learned to work quickly with it, it looked beautiful on my lashes. I also love the ND 5 pan shadows. I have a couple of those. I actually just bought a palette from Amazon that is supposed to be a direct dupe for the ND I Need a Nude palette. It is from Lamora and it’s just called the nude eyeshadow palette. Jen Phelps featured this alongside the ND one and you could not tell the difference. And the Lamora palette is $10! I also love the blushes! I have one of the Tarte Amazonian clay blushes and I really enjoy it 😊 Tyfs all of these products with us! I just love your makeup look. Stunning! Have a great weekend! Hugs! 💖🌸
Hey Kelly, I've been inclining to have natural peachy nude blushes. I've been leaning away from powder bronzer and using more cream bronzer and glowy blushes.
The brow gels with tint and the pens all seem to deposit too much product in spots like clumps or globs or something. I have translucent red/blonde brows and there isn't a single pen or tinted gel that actually works with my hair and brows that i like. The strawburn color from abh is the best color for my brows but i don't like any of the products it comes in. Brands need to expand brow colors for redheads. Auburn doesn't work for everyone lol. Auburn looks like a deep pinky berry on me. I just want a good product that is easy to use in a good color. I like the huda brow pencil the most but i go through it so fast and it's not in a perfect shade.
Girl, peach-y, coral-y colors look great on you. I think your color season is probably "Autumn" 🍂 Not that you asked 😄 You know, I guess it's my age, but I've never NOT used traditional, "bullet" lipsticks. _If it ain't broke...._ 😉
I understand what you are saying about value and pencils. I think Milani tends to give us a terrible value for the amount/usage compared to higher end brands. I feel like I’ve been burnt by milani. I’m going to try the stain you mentioned but if I’m not impressed I’m going to skip M in the future.
I bought mood ring because i liked that top note that seems kinda tangy but i was disappointed because the dry down is so different. The dry down scent is pleasant but it’s not as unique as that top note. Thought this one would be my number one from them but i think it’s actually father figure. I really like Milk in the expressive version.
Did you receive Rudi Berry's new chocolate dripped mascara yet? It is supposed to be the perfect chocolate brown. I ordered it last month and I'm hoping to get it soon. It may be "the one!" ❤❤❤
I have it! I like it! The shade reminds me a lot of the elf lash xtndr! But I’m still looking for something that shows up a bit more brown on my lashes :)
Ugh...I was so upset Sephora stopped carrying their wood pencil lip liners. They were so pigmented and creamy and if I bought them on sale it was awsm. Now they have these long twist up liners that are nice but deceiving because I used it up in less than a week 😡😒😡 and they're $13
Lol, I'm not sure why we call a laminated brow a fluffy brow. I feel like that's an oxymoron one cannot be the other. Or it's very possible that i am just crazy. Wouldn't be my first ride on the crazy 😜 train 😂
Great video. I like knowing what works for people with similar skin tones to me. This was enjoyable and informative. Love the braids, Have you smelled Kilian "Love Don't Be Shy"? Get a sample.❤❣️👍✔️❗
Thanks babe!!! Love all you share ❤️ I’m a Michigander too lol. I have the same color and love it also! I thought it was exposed but couldn’t remember.
I used to have a Lancome blush that I LOVED! Also, I love their blush packaging. It's so nice for on the go. Hopefully, they are cruelty-free again one day, I would definitely pick them up. 🙏
Love your hair in the front braids. Im probably older than your mom but it reminds me of my hippie days in the late 70’s when I wore my hair that way! Aahhh to be young again!❤
Love the hair also!!

Agreed!
Agreed!
I personally look sickly in warm tones…will stick to cool including pink blush…but they go really great with your undertone, hair, and orange tops. 🎉
I love the idea of sharing things that aren’t just product specific recommendations

You should look at K-beauty mascaras they tend to come in more varying shades of brown.

Ive heard spicy looks intimidating but is actually super wearable!
Spicy is so pretty!
Rare beauty Virtue gives me that barely there blush kook you're talking about, love that shade!
I’ve been loving a nude red look. I use two different nude Colourpop lip liners with the Tower 28 lip gloss in spicy over top

Tarte blushes have always been superior. The longest lasting, flattering & never questionable. Best of the best. Undupeable.

Try this brown mascara. Romand - Han All Fix Mascara - 7g - L03 Long Hazel
I second this! Very good brown mascara, that holds the curl. I think curl hold is very important for brown mascara / more natural colored mascara.
I am on the hunt for the perfect brown mascara too, and the closest one I found is the essence lash without limits brown mascara or the colorpop act natural mascara in brown!! Im obsessed with both of them💗
I still love the CoverGirl Flourish mascara in brown, but then I stocked up when I heard it was being discontinued. 😂
You haveee to try Charlotte Tilbury's lipstick in Stoned Rose - I think you would love it!!
Your skin looks flawless!
I wasn’t crazy about elf lash n roll or the lash extender, but layered together lash n roll first and topped with the lash extender…they’re a nice combo.
Blush placement looks good grrrl
Florence by mills - Kind Kelly cheeky pop blush stick. I think you’d love this shade and the more matte/creamy texture.

I need to get that bare minerals blonzer. It’s sooooo pretty!
Hey Kelly, I've been inclining to have natural peachy nude blushes. I've been leaning away from powder bronzer and using more cream bronzer and glowy blushes.

Yeah I wonder if she’s a soft autumn. She always looks fabulous in those colors, and “boring” nude makeup she rocks!
You gotta try the colour fetish matte bullet lipstick from Milani, THAT. IS. PERFECTION. 😊
Cover Girl Lash Bast Fusion in brown is a great brown. Almost like a chocolate pudding brown.
Well I’m obsessed with your videos 💗
I freaking love a bullet lipstick
I love the commodity milk gold
Colourpop has a great brown mascara. It's called chocolate fudge, I think

Thrive now has a Brown mascara. 😊
I know the Elf mascara is supposed to be a Thrive dupe but it’s 100% the same as the Glossier mascara. Kinda wish they copied the pink packaging 💗

bare minerals is so underrated tbh

What color of the Tarte blush do you use?
