I think that brown mascara is the new "thing" that just will not work for a large number of makeup users. I have black lashes, there is no brown that I have used that will work for my lashes. I think it's similar to trying to put a light color over dark hair without bleaching it first. It just won't show up in a way that looks rich and saturated.

I don’t care if full coverage foundation comes back. I’m in my 40s and I have dry skin. As much as I love a good trend, I know what looks good on me at this point in my life so I typically know if a trend is going to work for me. My favorite old makeup product that's not discontinued is the Urban Decay Naked 3 palette. My lasted for seven years and I'm glad that it didn't get discontinued cause whenever I wore that palette my mom always liked the way how makeup came out. It is sad for Too Faced that they discontinued their two best eyeshadow palettes which were the Chocolate Bon Bons and Chocolate Gold Eyeshadow Palettes. Too Faced shouldn't have discontinued them. I still have both the original and chocolate mascara from Too Faced and this brown mascara looks really pretty with a pink smokey eye look which you're supposed to use all brown mascaras for.

I still have primer potion. My only issue is that modern eye shadows are so much more opaque that the primer makes them too vibrant for the looks I want.

I still have some of those paddle brushes. That itty bitty one comes in handy, in a pinch, for my concealer. I remember buying my daughter the entire boxed set. It’s still in the box and they were never used. I wonder if I could sell them now since we are all 2016 @again…….🤔

I keep talking myself out of buying foundations that claim more coverage, because I purchased and hated double wear at the last 21 days of beauty. I realized I have dry skin and I'd rather have a more moisturizing, less coverage product that wears off gracefully and doesn't look caky the minute I'm in different lighting. Also, I don't use powder, so don't buy it.

😂😂😂😂😂 I laugh when you say, "I shouldn't be putting this old stuff on my face!!" We never even used to have dates on our make-up, we wore it until it ran out!! Now, I use it until it smells 'funny' or separates, or has faded and even if I brush off the top layer, there's still not good quality colour (which is rare, once you brush off the top layer of powders, they're usually fine to use underneath, just like hardpan).... its mostly lipsticks and creams I toss, because they do dry out and go off... and mascaras of course, they dry out.

I recently tried the super goop unseen sunscreen and the moment it was on my hand, I thought, "this texture is a mix between that clear smashbox primer and Clinique gel moisturizer from like, the early 2010s, and that's such a niche thought." I never actually used them! A friend of mine used the moisturizer and I remember playing with the primer, but I remember what they were like. So thank you for this video.
