I think that brown mascara is the new "thing" that just will not work for a large number of makeup users. I have black lashes, there is no brown that I have used that will work for my lashes. I think it's similar to trying to put a light color over dark hair without bleaching it first. It just won't show up in a way that looks rich and saturated.

I don’t care if full coverage foundation comes back. I’m in my 40s and I have dry skin. As much as I love a good trend, I know what looks good on me at this point in my life so I typically know if a trend is going to work for me. My favorite old makeup product that's not discontinued is the Urban Decay Naked 3 palette. My lasted for seven years and I'm glad that it didn't get discontinued cause whenever I wore that palette my mom always liked the way how makeup came out. It is sad for Too Faced that they discontinued their two best eyeshadow palettes which were the Chocolate Bon Bons and Chocolate Gold Eyeshadow Palettes. Too Faced shouldn't have discontinued them. I still have both the original and chocolate mascara from Too Faced and this brown mascara looks really pretty with a pink smokey eye look which you're supposed to use all brown mascaras for.

You reminded me of an infomercial for the Mushroom head Air cushion CC cream foundation with full coverage on tattoos.
Laura Lee Los Angles still uses spoon brushes lol. Love your in depth videos.😊

I LOVED Too Faced's Christmas set back in the day! I bought it with birthday money from my grandma. She passed away the next year and I'll never get rid of the eyeshadow palette. My last bday gift from her. Some things are worth keeping just for the memories.

I was just looking up those paddle brushes recently! I have a feeling it may come back around but with a twist. Like calling it massaging my makeup challenge or that girl who spackle foundation on 'discovering' it.
Also my favorite version of the urban decay primer potion is the one in the squeeze tube. That doe foot applicator always seem gross to me. 😂 Plus feel like I can never get all the product out.

@@yourfuturewaifu9061 it makes sense, recently found out old school hollywood makeup method was applying oil based foundation with a brush then powder overtop. The old school brushes looked kind of like the spoon paddle brushes.

I recently tried the super goop unseen sunscreen and the moment it was on my hand, I thought, "this texture is a mix between that clear smashbox primer and Clinique gel moisturizer from like, the early 2010s, and that's such a niche thought." I never actually used them! A friend of mine used the moisturizer and I remember playing with the primer, but I remember what they were like. So thank you for this video.

I keep talking myself out of buying foundations that claim more coverage, because I purchased and hated double wear at the last 21 days of beauty. I realized I have dry skin and I'd rather have a more moisturizing, less coverage product that wears off gracefully and doesn't look caky the minute I'm in different lighting. Also, I don't use powder, so don't buy it.
