I’m 52 and I’m using colorful peacock to describe from now on. I’m a blue haired librarian with the most colorful looks in my circle. Proud of reaching this milestone
Also 52. This winter, I was very into blue eyeshadow again (still remember my blue Maybelline eyeshadow from the 80s.) This season, I've been into oranges with purples.
Yes, agreed. I have been doing single shade eyeshadow during the pandemic. Yesterday I was playing with my eyeshadow and started plain - then I thought “ how boring “ but the end I was tie dyed the rest of the day. You wanted to be sad a beige, you do you.

I struggle with bipolar disorder and I never thought I’d see the day when I’m 25. Aging is a happy thing for me. I’m 100% with you Angie.
Indeed, I would say Motherships are the definition of “Did I ask for your opinion?” palette purchases. They are massive, luxurious, and pricey. I have two, and sometimes I just sit and admire them. I don’t care what anyone else thinks! 😂
same here! I’m born in 99 (25 years old) and I love eyeshadow!! it’s my favorite thing! If that “ages” me, so be it! I’m having fun with my collection!
The whole beauty industry feeds on people’s insecurities and fear of getting older. Promising more youthful looking skin etc…. If that fear was not present this industry would not make the money it does.
I think if we are going to talk about ageism focusing on some comment made on TikTok is missing the forest for the trees. The problem is much deeper than that.
When I was 19 my partner died tragically. From then on I lived like one day I’d have to answer to her about my life. And I realized the stupidest thing I could say to her was “I was scared of what other people would say so I didn’t live the way I wanted to.”
Go, Angie! I'm turning 70 shortly. There's only one alternative to ageing! I love pretty colors and shimmer and sparkle, including on my eyes, and wear them daily with my Mom-jeans. I'm thoroughly enjoying the age of "I don't care!"
YESSS! I LOVE THIS! I wish you could talk to my 70 year old mom and your attitude would rub off on her. She’s really struggling with her age and not feeling pretty lately. 😢 I feel so bad for her. I LOVE the fact you’re still rocking the the glitter, shimmer, and sparkle! Go you! Rock it all! ❤️ ⭐️
Yes, my middle school students tease me when I wear something bright or bold, or if I’ve practically bathed in glitter, that it looks bad, or they don’t like it. I use it as an opportunity to teach them that my makeup choices are about pleasing myself, not others, and that they’ll face such decisions as they grow up, too. At 12, they just don’t understand yet.
When bright and bold makes a resurgence five years from now and they start wearing it, that will be your opportunity to tell them they look awful.😂 A great opportunity to teach them about it being personal choice, you're so, so right. Those children are so lucky to have you as their role model.
I love eye shadow! I’m all in with shadow. There are 2 reasons why people are afraid of aging: 1. It goes so quickly that it’s something we cannot control. 2. Looking older reminds us that it’s getting closer. How did this happen? Makeup isn’t to look younger. Makeup is just part of art; creativity and fun. I’m going to be 61 this year and I feel 25. It’s all good.
Yes! I suck at drawing and I love make up! My face is my own canvas- I have fun with make up but people like to call me shallow... Props to you for being 61 years young! ❤
@@marieerikson idk why im seeing this so late but thank you, its an older picture when they were only about a year old, they will be 5 this year. I raised them off a bottle since 3 weeks old
I am 54 and boot-cut is the ONLY cut!!!😂 Also, I work with a bunch of younger professionnals and I am the only one wearing sparkly shiny eyeshadow. In my opinion, it doesn’t make me old, it just makes me the coolest.
Same here, I am 47 and work in banking. I'm the only one wearing all the shiny sparkly things but I don't care!! I was trained by Angelica and the happy clown way is the best way in my opinion 🤡. I have people at work who come by to see what my makeup is each day and some even put in requests lol 😂.
Same and it is so hard for me to find any jeans that fit me right these days, or to find boot cut jeans at all. 🤷🏻♀️ All I see now is the the kind that is more tapered at the bottom or the shorter length jeans. 🙄 I’m also 5’ 8” so I have to get tall as well and I have curves so it makes it that much harder to find any jeans that fit me right because I can’t stand when they’re too short or too tight on me. 🥺
The way I would roll my eyes as a teen when my mom would tell me “I had jeans like that when I was your age, they’re coming back in style!” Now I get it 🤣😆
Same. I get compliments on my makeup, hair & clothes all the time from younger girls. It's the guys who often make rude or stupid comments but it's always been that way for me. in my 20s & 30s I wore very vintage inspired styles & had actual vintage pieces from my grandmother. Inevitibly some dude would ask "why are you wearing gloves?" Some men nevr got the memo that camo is a popular fashion print. Everytime I wear it or olive green I get comments about being in the military --eye roll. Idk why people feel the need to say things to strangers but I've learned to laugh it off.
I'm a 70 year old happy clown and do full glam makeup every day, I know I do not look my age, but happily tell people how old I am.....I will wear eye shadow every day! I still work part time.
the literal only reason "fashion trends" exist is so companies can sell you product. same goes for "beauty standards". being content in ourselves & what we already own is antithetical to capitalism. anyway, on a lighter note, eyeshadow will always be my fave part of my makeup routine because it's the only part where you can actually be creative (in the pedestrian sense, i know you can push the boundaries of makeup in all aspects but that sort of goes into editorial or avant garde territory which the average person isn't into)
@@romanyhosier9133 first of all thank you for introducing me to something new, I've never heard of leblouh before! But to the point, historically it was a means of controlling women. Almost every invention you can think of in regards to women (high heels for example!) were by of a man and rarely for our benefit. Of course over time that's become less and less of a thing, with women wearing high heels simply because they want to as a fashion choice, or make up for just for the pure artistry of it, but on the flip side there's still that residual pressure some still feel that that they "always have to be presentable" aka their naked face or flat shoes is unacceptable somehow. As for feet binding and other cultural practices, it's still happening but on a lesser scale with each passing year
I think the hang-up with age is that we don't want to look older than we are. I am a nurse and I see this all the time. I will see someone who is 80 that doesn't look a day over 50, then I will see someone who is 45, who looks like they are 90. Looking your age is so subjective to how you actually lived your life. It really shows if it has been hard. That is what I think people don't want to happen.
I am 67 and will be 68 this year!🖒😁 This talk coming from people who did not even exist in the 60's make me laugh! Flared pants aka bell bottoms were around in the 60's. I hate to tell the tictoc babies but all these new fashion and makeup trends are not new! Ladies in their 60's laugh every time a new trend arrives.😅😂 It is not new!!! Nothing is new anymore! I love makeup and I really enjoy your channel. You are as old as you feel!😅 I was a fashion person and I never wanted to look like everybody else! I was always different. When you are happy from the inside you appear young! Colorful makeup done well is beautiful! Being confident in the way you look makes you look young. My grandmother, who past at 96 told me "You do You " and ignore everyone who doesn't like it! Angelica you Rock!!!😄😅💚🖒
I saw this title and cried. My beautiful momma passed away and I wish she was here with me still. She would have loved to age. I’m glad she’s always in my heart. Aging is a gift 💝
Sorry for your loss. 🙏😢 My mom also passed not too long, she died on May 6, 2021… 2 days before Mothers Day and it was the worst time of my life. 😭 We were best friends and she was still fairly young when she passed which makes it that much harder. I really feel bad for kids that lose their moms or dads when they’re really young, I couldn’t imagine. 💔🥺 I pray that you will get stronger and heal more & more every day, that’s what I wish for myself as well. 🫶❤️
My mother once said “that’s what you’re wearing?” And I said yes, she said “you’re a mom” I said so? And she was flabbergasted that me being a mom doesn’t change who I am and what I wear lol. I’m in my 30s and maybe it’s because of how she was raised and that I’m her kid but for me idk not someone to let others say what I can and cannot do to my own body.
My mother passes away at 57. I was THRILLED to turn 58. I am a quasi hypocrite cause I do Botox but I do not listen to beauty trends. I workout hard, I wear what I want and I use the makeup I want!! Thanks Angie!!!!!
Trends, I don't know, I often find them a little boring or lacking dimension. There's nothing that gives me more joy than seeing someone wearing their own style and being totally comfortable in that, pure joy
I am much less interested in what is 'in style' as opposed to what 'looks good' on me. I rock skinny jeans, and they are NOT leaving my active wear rotation, period. There is something to be said about dressing for your shape vs for style. I also love bold eye shadow, and I will be 50 later this year. I get both compliments and strange looks on a daily basis. I just choose to pay attention to the compliments only. Everyone's option doesn't really matter, I dress/do makeup for me. This is the only 'artistic' thing I can do and I LOVE IT!!! Why should I care what others think?
PLEASE make this a sticker and/or a hoodie/shirt: “We just don’t care” with the colorful eyeshadow eye. You are spot on with your analysis of why this happens. When you see someone with 80’s hair (aka big) it’s because that’s when they felt the prettiest. It’s what they like. It makes them happy.
I spent too much money on my eye shadows to ignore them for a trend or for fear of looking old. My white hairs peeking through say enough. lol I do have to say I really miss how "dressed" up our parents/grand parents were. My dad was born in '37 over in England for reference. The men looked SO nice!! I have never heard of this sponsor...will browse their website because I too, am a happy color loving clown. I embrace my "middle age" status
Exactly! Big investment in eyeshadow palettes that I just started ‘collecting’ 3 or so years ago. Not a chance I’m giving them up cause someone says they are out.
I miss when people dressed up to go out in public too. Everyone just wears athletic wear all the time now (& I know they aren't coming from the gym) It used to make me self concious about being over dressed but I stopped caring 😊
I am sixty six and I no longer give a crap about so called age appropriate looks. I will always love eyeshadow, funky jewelry and long nails. I refuse to give up my hobbies of table top role playing games, being a trekkie because I am now too old. As someone who has always had hooded lids small eye brushes have always been a godsend
What!? a I am 66, soon to be 67. I wear colorful eyeshadow with shimmers, and I love highlighters. I don’t care what others think-I love makeup! I am an artist, and I view the face as another canvas to apply color to. I do have wrinkles and things that have fallen with gravity, but that’s normal! I will be wearing my full coverage foundation and my colorful shimmer in the nursing home! I grew up in the 60’s when mini skirts were new. I also will never give up my leggings-ever.
I love your commentary on aging! I have never understood why the younger generations think that they get to dictate what is "right", they don't yet have the wisdom to know what is "right" for the general population. They can embrace their youth while I embrace my experience, and I refuse to envy their youth as my past has made me who I am (and I will continue to reach for my brown lipstick).
I got a LOT of “you look younger” when i meet someone and i alwayss say “Why? Do i look ignorant, do i look foolish?” It made some ppl realize that those words are not a compliment anymore. Looking of our own age is fantastic. Thankyou very much for the beautifull content Angy🌸🌺
The only way not to get old is to die. Getting old is the goal! I'm enjoying ageing I have way more sense than when I was younger, and I really don't have the time for foolishness. Keep doing you, and love who you are!
Yes!!! I’m at the age where I don’t care, too! 😂 43 and proud! I’m having so much fun while applying eyeshadow, I don’t care if someone says it’s out of fashion.
As someone who has been disabled since I was 22, I live in a bubble outside of age. I’ve lived like an elderly/retired person pretty much my entire adult like, so I don’t experience the usual stages. I just turned 40, but still living the 70’s/80’s life. It has its upsides and downsides. Upsides, no expects anything of me, and no one can really identify what I’m “supposed” to be.
Im about 5 months older than you and I decided a couple years ago that "clean girl skin" and clown eyeshadow was my perfect combo. I never liked heavy or full coverage foundation, but I didn't know what products to use that would work for my super dry, sensitive skin. I'm glad i finally did!
I just turned 60 and I’m starting to feel invisible! It’s a weird feeling. And makeup helps me in my own head to feel seen. I don’t do anything over the top, but I like being known as the lady who has glittery eyes.
You're the BEST!! I'm 56 and I wear it with converse high tops, eclectic hoodies and a full beat with colorful eye shadow on the daily 🩷 basically I dress up to love life everyday.
Girl I'm 44 and you are my twin when it comes to being a happy clown lol I wear bright and bold colors every single day, even to my retail management job at a tool store. Customers call in looking for me by saying "that tall girl with the pink hair and all the makeup" lmao I love it and I feel beautiful in bold eye looks ❤
I'm 54 and when I put on dramatic makeup, I see the younger version of myself who loved color. I still love color, and one of the great things about aging is that I am not obliged to follow the current fashion. Some Clean Girl might say it ages me in appearance, but it makes me FEEL younger.
My mother is in her 50s and she loooves to wear sparkly black eyeshadow whenever she can! ❤ Maybe it's weird, but I personally can't wait to age. I'm more than halfway through my 20s and they've been the worst time of my life. Not gonna drop my colourful makeup anytime soon lol
31 here, I love the signs of aging. The longer I’m off social media the better I feel about myself. My style is tacky as hell and I LOVE it. Ugly cardigans year round and brandishing my stretch marks and cellulite doesn’t bother me one bit
Hear hear 👏🏼 absolutely right. I'm 58 and I have realised that from when I turned 40 I've been living my best life! I learned to be ok with what I like and ignore naysayers (my own mum included!) Love this one 💞💞
This has got to be my favorite video so far this month 💕. As a woman who is now 42 I've come to a point in my life where I'm fully accepting and embracing my true authentic self. I've had my phases of following trends, trying to keep up with the other girls. I've had my phases of "not being like the other girls". And after all my trips around the sun I've realized that I'm the creator of my own happiness. And honestly I'm kinda wanting my makeup to represent that mentality and not the latest trends. ❤ And I have no doubt that these young individuals will get there too, in about 20 years or so 😊
My thing is I wear glasses for distance which makes my eyes look tiny... eyeshadow makes them look bigger. Same with the whole middle part trend. Listen hun, if you have perfectly symmetrical features have fun, but I don't and I like my side part tyvm. 😂
Who said and who made these decisions? I am very proud of my age and I wear eyeshadow. All the plastic surgery will not stop the aging process. One day the people who like to degrade will be OLD.
I think sometimes people struggle to develop their own personal style and voice, which can help them ride the waves of fashion and makeup changes. You can adopt what you like of the new and let the rest go. But it’s hard. And I think figuring out how to shift your makeup needs as you age can be a struggle. We all want an easy answer. But I like color as well, especially those great indie eyeshadows❤
I'm 28 and love eyeshadow so much. It's my favourite part of makeup and I really don't see that to change soon. Maybe I have to adapt to different techniques when I'm older but that's also fun. Never told me someone I look older because of my makeup style.
Im turning 50 this year. And i love my eyeshadow and a bold lip.. i wear it because it makes me happy and i use colors to match my outfit. Many younger ladies approach me and ask how i do it lol.. my tip dont be afraid to stand out and just have fun with makeup and colors... makeup and eyeshadow certainly make me happy. Have a great day😊
I am a GenX, and I definitely do what I want to and definitely do not follow any trends. I will be 55 this year and I am over here living life and enjoying what I have. 😘💜 Hope you have a great weekend!
Another thing that irritates me, is hearing "you are too old to be playing video games." No, I'm THE perfect age to be playing games because THERE IS NO AGE LIMIT on having hobbies!
I'm 59 I watch your channel all the time. I have a very small but lovely channel. I was told I shouldn't wear sparkly things at my age the next day I was literally one bie sparkle. I agree with you I will do what I want with my makeup and wardrobe until the day I die. Thanks.
I've been struggling with depression for a while. Eyeshadow is one of those little things (and if you struggle with your mental health you know how important those are) that help me to keep on going. So yes, I'm wearing eyeshadow, I don't care it's out of fashion.
I’m 25 so I’m still young but I will never give up eyeshadow. It’s my favorite part of my makeup routine and I understand trends come and go but at the same time people should let others do what they want to do without feeling like they need to criticize.
I graduated from HS in 1990.., I still have my Dr Martins, and I’ve saved one pair of jeans and every now and again, I try them on to see if they still fit! Everytime the style comes back, I wear them.. I found some never been worn Birkenstocks in my mom’s closet with the receipt in the box from the 90s! I couldn’t believe my mom had them bc I didn’t even know they were around back then!
I realized in my 30s what a blessing it is to not worry about bullies and judgemental people. There are still some like that, who never matured, but overall people are so chill about being themselves. My teen years and twenties were a struggle and I wish I could go back and tell myself to stop giving a sh. And when I look at the younger generations I feel bad for how much they judge each other and themselves, gen alpha seem soooo cruel to each other. Oh yeah I sound really old right now haha.
Angie you definitely have a point! Growing up, I was told little is always best when it comes to makeup and especially eyeshadow with colors….. I was ALWAYS scared to try color and I’m 28 and I’m finally getting comfortable with playing with colors. No way in hell am I letting some arbitrary social beauty standard ruin something I’m finically learning to love.
Thank you for being you and shouting this from the rooftops! Aging is a privilege. Life is meant to be lived. I’m not a museum doll frozen in time - I feel like my personality and joy is what makes me “younger.”
I am also an 84 baby and I absolutely love makeup and colorful eyeshadow looks! I did go through a short phase where I wasn't wearing much and doing more of a minimal look, but I have rediscovered my love of all things colorful, especially eyeshadows! And, I am also of the age where I also don't care what anyone thinks, Long Live colorful eyeshadow! I love your Channel and you have definitely had a hand in my rediscovery of all my colorful palettes and lots of new ones I have now added to my collection! ❤🎉
I'm in my early 30's and it's the first time when I'm in the position where something that was super trendy when I was a teen is super trendy again. I totally agree that you stop caring when you see it happen and the older you get, the less you care. Wear what you like, makeup and clothing! I also find this obsession with age and looking younger so weird, it has always happened to celebrities but suddenly it's starting to happen to non-celebs. The implication that you need to look 20 to look good is so weird and toxic. Thankfully it's not as bad offline, at least in Europe. I wear makeup to express myself, I'll be a happy clown at any age! My 20's were fun but my 30's are MUCH better.
I needed this video today. I've definitely been feeling the pressure to behave and look a certain way as I've gotten older, and I'm not even on tiktok lol.
Gen Z/Young people are so afraid of getting older and will mock people in their late 20s and 30s for no reason. I think they'll get a mental breakdown when they reach that age.
Yes! Thank you for this! I'm a GenXer and I feel like my generation rebelled against this 'you're too young/too old for X look" thing. I grew up with my mom always telling me I couldn't look how I wanted because I was too young, only to be told when I was 30, that I was too old for the same damn things. Like a look is only appropriate at 25? Do what you want, for heaven's sake! Live your life, be happy and mind your own damn business. Once you stop worrying about what everyone is thinking or doing, life is easier.
Aging is a privilege not afforded to everyone ….I’ve been a hospice nurse for 30 yrs and aging is a privilege. ❤ I’m 51 and wear colourful eyeshadow…..HATE BROWN/BEIGE eyeshadow!!!😂❤
Ageing is a luxury
I saw the video title and thought that, too!❤

As a single, childfree 42 year old who loves her eyeshadow, I needed to hear this today.

There’s a reason that moms wear mom jeans. They’re comfortable, and moms are smart.
I totally agree xx
The age of “I don’t care” is amazing! It’s so freeing.

Same 😂 I’m like bye! Some like it but some don’t and I’m like good thing you aren’t me 🤣
When bright and bold makes a resurgence five years from now and they start wearing it, that will be your opportunity to tell them they look awful.😂
A great opportunity to teach them about it being personal choice, you're so, so right. Those children are so lucky to have you as their role model.
Use it as an opportunity to teach them to keep their opinions to themselves. 😊
@@andreahomer9434 Awww thank you 🤍 I cannot wait for color’s next wave! 😁
These youngins can take my sparkles, colorful eyeshadow, and colorful highlighters from my cold, dead hands.
👌. 💅🏻 💄 😁 👍
LOL! 🤣
This! My first love is eyeshadow. I'm not giving it up. Idc what the trend is.
Yes, makeup isn't to make us feel younger but to make us happy and to be able to express ourselves! ❤
Im 20 and i love eyeshadow... i dont care about the trend ill wear what i want
unrelated but I love your cats
@@marieerikson idk why im seeing this so late but thank you, its an older picture when they were only about a year old, they will be 5 this year. I raised them off a bottle since 3 weeks old
idek this eyeshadow hate thing was.. a thing 😭. this is getting ridiculous
I am 54 and boot-cut is the ONLY cut!!!😂 Also, I work with a bunch of younger professionnals and I am the only one wearing sparkly shiny eyeshadow. In my opinion, it doesn’t make me old, it just makes me the coolest.
I am about to be 58 and in the exact same situation. I love it!
The way I would roll my eyes as a teen when my mom would tell me “I had jeans like that when I was your age, they’re coming back in style!”
Now I get it 🤣😆
😝
Just call me an old happy clown then because I’m happy that way
I will add that when I wear really intense colorful, bold eyeshadow there is inevitably a youngster who compliments it. Go figure! Lol😂
@@yensid4294 I only compliment strangers style. I would never be so rude to criticize anyone's appearance, openly anyway. Lol.
I'm a 70 year old happy clown and do full glam makeup every day, I know I do not look my age, but happily tell people how old I am.....I will wear eye shadow every day! I still work part time.
the literal only reason "fashion trends" exist is so companies can sell you product. same goes for "beauty standards". being content in ourselves & what we already own is antithetical to capitalism.
anyway, on a lighter note, eyeshadow will always be my fave part of my makeup routine because it's the only part where you can actually be creative (in the pedestrian sense, i know you can push the boundaries of makeup in all aspects but that sort of goes into editorial or avant garde territory which the average person isn't into)
well how does foot binding or lehblouh fit into that? those are beauty standards too.
Yes, 100% agree. xo
Well my life has been very hard and I look younger

A quote I stole
from the Gen Jones Reddit: "Ageism is a crime against your future self." Love it! I am 61 and will love makeup forever. Do not care!
Yeah I wear whatever I want :P And I'll never judge anyone for wearing whatever they want :)
"I am at the age where I don't care" is literally what I thought when I heard "eyeshadow is out/ for old people". I agreed so much with this video!!
I’m 46 and I am wearing all the eye shadow. I’m grateful to grow old that’s a privilege that’s is not afforded to some.
I hope ageism goes away some day 🙏🏼
What!? a I am 66, soon to be 67.
Personally, i LIVE for people 40s and up (i'm 25) who go full out colors and layers and jewelry!!! I'm like yes queen! You look amazing!!!!
I lost my mom when she was 43. I was 21 when she passed. Aging is a privilege. My mom would have been 69 next month.
The only way not to get old is to die. Getting old is the goal! I'm enjoying ageing I have way more sense than when I was younger, and I really don't have the time for foolishness. Keep doing you, and love who you are!
Dying is not a bad thing. We get to go to a beautiful non-judgmental place.
❤
I'm 49. Last night, my mom, who is 76, had this very conversation. We agree.
Love your attitude girl.I'm 70 and will never stop using make up that I like and suits me. Skincare is the most important thing as we age xx
I'm 54 and when I put on dramatic makeup, I see the younger version of myself who loved color. I still love color, and one of the great things about aging is that I am not obliged to follow the current fashion. Some Clean Girl might say it ages me in appearance, but it makes me FEEL younger.

EYESHADOW is NEVER OUT! 🙌
My mother is in her 50s and she loooves to wear sparkly black eyeshadow whenever she can! ❤
Maybe it's weird, but I personally can't wait to age. I'm more than halfway through my 20s and they've been the worst time of my life. Not gonna drop my colourful makeup anytime soon lol
I'm 58 and I wear colorful looks all the time . I don't care what anyone else thinks, I love my makeup!
Since I turned fifty, Angie, my motto when I want to do something that society deems me too old to do is, "if not now, when?" 😂 Love your dress! 😍
42 wear what I want when I want now but was terrified in my 30’s 😂❤
I'm 41 and i absolutely love eyeshadow and no one is taking that away from me. I'll wear all kinds of colour of eyeshadow because i love it 😊
This has got to be my favorite video so far this month 💕. ❤ And I have no doubt that these young individuals will get there too, in about 20 years or so 😊
"were society tries to silence you" exactly
Yes finding your own style does not come easy :)
I turned 30 this year, and I'm with you. I don't care what people think, I'm living my life my way.
Have a great day😊
Yes more of what makes up happy :D
I feel better at 58 than ever. And I will continue to wear makeup 💄 because I love it and I could care a less if others don't feel we should wear it.
Yes! Such a fantastic message. Not everybody gets the privilege of aging. Do and wear what you love! ❤
I'm 36, Goth for 23 years and I think the "clean girl" makeup looks boring. I like bold dark makeup. Still wear it everyday!
It’s very boring. Sometimes I want to look like I’m wearing the makeup
I gotta say I really like gen z's version of straight leg and boot cut pants more than what we had in the early-mid 2000s. Great improvements 😂
I’m 25 so I’m still young but I will never give up eyeshadow. It’s my favorite part of my makeup routine and I understand trends come and go but at the same time people should let others do what they want to do without feeling like they need to criticize.
I’m 58 and don’t care what others think of my style. I love eyeshadow.
when you get older you don't care too much re trends and just wear what you like regardless. i love doing that!!
This is a great message, thank you. My dad died at 59, my mom at 62. I’m about to turn 63. I’m happy to be alive and I LOVE color as well. ❤
6:49 ‘I’m at the age where I don’t care’ THIS!
It's funny how they say eyeshadow and skinnies are aging, but then wear Chanel-style jackets ☠
Im also at the age of not caring. I enjoy it and its my time that I treasure. At 43, i have that right.
I agree with you, and nobody else says this! There’s no dishonor in having been alive more years than someone else.
You are so authentic and I love your commentary videos 🧡💛🧡💛
Awh thank you!
I needed this video today. I've definitely been feeling the pressure to behave and look a certain way as I've gotten older, and I'm not even on tiktok lol.
I love that!! "eyeshadow is fun" and I absolutely love putting it on... I am in my 40's and will keep doing it till it comes back in style.
And still wearing brown lipstick.
I think I’ve found what looks good on me, and NOT what’s trendy. I feel best when I feel pretty and some trends are just not flattering on me.
Aging is a privilege not afforded to everyone ….I’ve been a hospice nurse for 30 yrs and aging is a privilege. ❤
I’m 51 and wear colourful eyeshadow…..HATE BROWN/BEIGE eyeshadow!!!😂❤
I’m 55, love wearing makeup. I don’t some days and that’s okay too! Do what makes you feel your very best!!!
Aging is something denied to many. Too many people die young-- I will be forever thankful for getting to age! ♥️
