This has to be the most thorough video I've ever seen that showcases "what your money can buy at different price points in the DC area"!! Thank you for this great content and the thorough walkthroughs of each property!
I absolutely love the condo in the $900,000 range. It is worth every penny. It is beautiful and is located where I'd want to be in Columbia Heights. I have enjoyed watching your content this year and I look forward to seeing more from you for many years to come!
Hey dude! I literally saw you making the Brookland condo conversion video. I live a few houses down the street. I watched all these townhouses being converted to pop up condos. Also. I know the builder. He would purchase these tear downs for around the mid-$500K range from families after the parents or grandparents passed away. I never thought the concept would work in Brookland, but here we are. BTW: Your comment about asking price being a bit low is true. I believe it’s due to the housing market-a bit slow and high interest rates-the condo conversions to the left sold for $100K more per unit several years ago.
@@googleuser3007 oh yeah! Yup that was me out there. You’re correct, prices are starting to soften in the district due to High interest rates and DC shenanigans. It’s a more balanced market for buyers. And yes Brookland was one of the last neighborhoods to see these type of condo conversions. I guess the lack of housing options causes trends to spread across different neighborhoods to create more housing🤷🏽♂️
This was a great presentation of what D.C. has to offer when it comes to real estate. Excellent walk-throughs and thorough explanations of the neighborhoods. The $600K-700K duplex condos were my fav. I liked how the developers took risks with the design finishes especially the bathroom light fixtures. The $1Mil property was my least fav as the developers played it safe and went cheap with the cookie-cutter, plain design features. I do understand that it might have been designed for a broader range of family oriented buyers and "neutral" looking homes are more sellable, but at least they could've used more higher end materials and finishes.
How's the property newly renovated when some of the blinds need replacing. And, one set going into the kitchen area's missing an entire set? The windows (new) Really
Honestly most of the homes in the DC northern Virginia and Maryland area are ugly. You can get more aesthetically pleasing and cheaper homes in places like NC, GA or TX with more space.

That was extensive and thorough. Thank you for your hard work!
Happy holidays 🎄🎅🏾
@@luckycharm5589 thank you. Happy holidays to you!
The 600 square feet, 1 bedroom, 1 bath for $249,000 is unreal!! In some areas of South Carolina, $249,000 will dang near get you a mansion😂
But this is the nation's capital, its still cheaper than Manhattan.
Bashir I love all your videos, I wait for you to put out new videos. I appreciate all your hard work, keep up the good work.

GREAT INFORMATION
8:00 great info! I also don't like to have that much debt on the books. The landlord game is not for me.
@@truthtelleranon yup its not for everyone. The key is to figure out whats for you and try to maximize that.
Outstanding video! Thanks for the tour.
Nice walk through. Just subbed

I would never rent my property to Housing Voucher tenants.
I have reported you to the federal government for discrimination

The Fairfax Village Community needs more ownership not renters. Why not show this as an first time buyers property?
If that's your opinion, start your own channel and put a vid out 😜

@@twill1076 that was a good analysis of the different options. Thanks for watching
I toured a unit in Fairfax village years ago and the space inside was small and the unit was out dated. What you showed today is a big difference
The second unit is right across the street from where I lived in 2016/17 in Van Ness. Great neighborhood. Lots of walking.
@@truthtelleranon Yup, great area indeed. Lived there myself in 2014-2015.
I also used to live in Anthology on H. 2019/2020. Very good bang for your buck

@@keithbarnes1051 which property? I showed 10
Great video. 1.2M for a home with a poorly thought out design. I mean the refrigerator is basically sitting alone in the floor. Sheesh.
No wonder a lot of people retire to the south, more bang for the buck
Not you literally in my neighborhood 😂😂😂
@@TheeBratzDollxox haha i go everywhere. Which neighborhood are we talking about?
HOA 438/ month total rip off
