The funny part is it’s not even posh area…I used to work in the area and some gang kids after getting high they make it rain the bullets out of their car in a regular daytime ..after witnessing that I wouldn’t live if you pay me.
Those closing costs seem very high to me....Also is this a starter home level in DC?..I say that because if not a starter home I would say that you would have at least a 20% down payment if you were not a first time buyer
This is not a first time buyers home. People buy this type of home after gaining an equity on their current home. Buying a home for 500k and selling it for 800k. Thats how you get this home. Most people just sit in their equity instead of moving.
400k at best, very crazy the price and no one should be working to pay 700k mortgage. Get that if you have a business giving you the money to afford this.

@@Abidjan-weekly 700k in DC is not an “extra ordinary” number. It’s right around the average cost of a home in DC in 2025.
