The owner has a unique insight into the car, also very tasteful and knowledgeable, very good car and impeccable modification! I also think that I will modify this way. I love lexus .
Beautiful. Thanks for documenting the build and its use. What was the overall ground clearance and angles you were able to achieve? Also, did the lift and geometry contribute to the mechanical problem you had on your way to the Dalton Pass, and what was the lesson learned?
Love your build and looking forward to seeing what is next for this. One thing I noticed looking under the vehicle is that the slider install required removal of the front KDSS line armor skid plate and now they are exposed on the frame rail without the skid. Did Mainline discuss a way to get them protected again?
Which location was this work done at, PA or NH? If both locations are equidistant from home...which location would be preferred? (Does one location have certain strengths over the other...i.e. better skilled technicians, better facility, better fabrication or design team, etc.). Thanks!
Nice I want a gx460. But will search for one without the Kdss suspension and without rear air suspension also. I think the luxury package is the one you want to stay away from when building bf a Gx.
Different rigs. From the engine, and transmission, to the weight, due to the more luxurious interior. The 4runner only comes in a V6 with a 5 speed auto, whereas the GX is a 6 speed auto on a V8 Engine.
@@luckyyou774 4 runner is a better vehicle all around. Ground clearance for both vehicles says it all about true off-road capabilities. It is funny how even forester have more ground clearance than gx. In terms of reliability, both are good.
@@rauleyshar3635 yes forester has more ground clearance but its CVT. i was going to get forester or outback but i dont like CVT. GX460 is more premium, plus V8 is very nice. and it can do some offroading. its good that base model and premium dont have airsuspenssion on gx460, gx470 had it and it was costly to repair
Surprised the 3rd row seats weren't pulled in a build like this
Awesome build. Any info on vendors for the painted rockers from Japan?
The best job seen so fat done to GX!! Well done!!
Thank you!
Nice build. I would like to see some 460's on 35's.
Lots of inspiration here. I think I like the Metaltech4x4 tiger shark front bumper better than that Prado with the big bar though.

Very nice build. How did you guys recalibrate the speedo? Do you have a service that can do this?

GX, and with 20K upgrades. Good life
Debt!!!
Great build on a late model 460. Please share the budget for this build. Thanks!
I have a feeling that budget wasn't a thing.
I''d imagine 25k-30k build. Parts alone look to be 15k-20k+

Is there a back up system in case the digital switch panel goes down while the e-lockers are engaged?
Very nice..i wish there a shop similar to this in Connecticut
Joricano We have a 2nd location in Bow, NH, just over the MA border, which may be closer for you. Give us a call or email and we’d be happy to chat!
Looks great - I’d love to know what kind of MPG he gets with it loaded up, haha
More like GPM, methinks.
We need the same Rockers from Japan, anyone know suppliers ?
Excellent build. Did you perform airbag delete to add the suspension.
Parvez Ali Running coils. 👍
Please what's the name of name and model of ur bicycle I'm in the market for a new one.
Any ARB GX bullbars available anymore?
Was the final drive ratio changed? And was the speedo corrected somehow or if not how far off is it?
Amazing
i don't think any of the equipment was designed in virgina though right?
@Rob Cook of @Overland - can you get me those rocker panels from Japan for a 2021 GX 460?
Where did y’all source the Japanese side step cover?
We have connections 😬
i wonder what the total cost is
how much does this build cost?
How much would this build be?
Hi just wanted to ask what color of the Dakar corse is installed? Is that silver or grey?
Carlo Ponce Anthracite is the color code on those 17x8 ET:0 wheels.

All of them have kdss, why would you not want this? Only the premium and luxury trims have the rear air bag suspension. The base doesn't.
You have to get the Luxury trim if you want Crawl Control/driver support package
I missed it but how many inches was the lift?
Byron Lee 2.5” lift.
How did you guys mount the iKamper on Frontrunner rack?
Jess del Mundo We used a set of Front Runner’s Fixed RTT Mounts
"I wonder if anyone overlands GX460s and makes them cool" well shit, first click
Is gx4690 more reliable then 4runner?

@@Kiss__Kiss i know that, but which is more reliable? Which one would you get if you were spending 35$, brand new sr5 or used gx460?
@@luckyyou774 460. Without a doubt.

The audio sucks!
Dan Humphrey We’re much better at building trucks, lol. Hopefully the info is useful to folks considering the GX.
