- Carol Karthe, owner and designer of The Bird House in Laguna believes that your home is an extension of your personality. Entering the giant, slanted front door will usher you inside a double volume space that opens up all the way to the golf course views ahead. Deliberately placing her room facing the east, Karthe gets woken up early and slowly as the sun rises through the window facing her bed.
The home is equipped with everything you need to relax after a long day - a fireplace (it does get chilly at times), a sauna, a swimming pool and a wine cellar.

among the many things that works really well in this home, for me, is the color selection. The warm wood against the blues. Subtly accented and with the right attitude. Top job on this one!

This is what I call a home in its true meaning
I thought it was a house in the US. This is such a beautiful home. I love the juxtaposition and combination of materials like wood, metal, leather, glass, and a little bit of stone. The house is large but it is welcoming and cozy.
I can’t believe I’m seeing a house with fire place in Philippines. Other than Baguio. This feels rather western vibe yet very Asian. Nice to see this type of design now in the Philippines. And not cookie cutter developer plans.

The moment that grand main entrance door opened, I can feel the Zen. 😍 Everything is designed flawlessly from the open concept floor plan to the pool and those views. 😄 The only thing needed in that perfect wine collection is the electric wine opener. Cheers to this dream home! 😍

This home is a work of art! Fantastic! You’d never need to leave to take a vacation. However, it’s very high end and therefore unavailable to many, but we can take elements from it…the concept is delicious!

I really want to know why they decided to put a coffee table in the washroom despite the massive size of the house, why would you choose to have coffee, tea or snacks in your bathroom
What country is it in? The hand railing of the stairs is not child friendly. This wouldn’t have passed the regulations in the west.
Every time I see one of these open houses, all I think about is how mosquitos will devour the owner.
