HAPPY SUNDAY!! I'm sharing some of my tried and true interior designs styling secrets you should know about!! I hope this gives you some inspiration and styling ideas you can use in your home!🏡♥️
Kristen I just love what you do!!! So talented! Appreciate all of your tips. My mum is like you. I wish I had that gene 🧬! I’m just not savvy that way. Appreciate your videos thank you!❤
I’m really intrigued by the flooring idea of adding more color to that reddish flooring. It looked AMAZING!!! I NEVER would have thought of adding MORE of that same color would have actually worked!!! LOVED IT!!!!! 💕💕💕💕💕.
I LOVE the idea of enhancing something you don’t like to make it seem intentional, genius! 99%of the things in my home are thrifted, I absolutely love to thrift for everything. I have a zero threshold shower, I love it. I feel like a professional 😊
The pillow case idea is awesome, I was just trying to deal with that same issue in our guest room, this trick will make it look so much better. I really love your idea for adding more of the thing you don’t like…..I just love, love, your ideas and videos. Thank you so much!
Yes, that was a great idea for the pillow covers, wish I had known about this before I sewed mine smaller. My husband was always comparing about the overhang, so I cut them down and sewed them. He is much happier, but now I know to just fold them in!
This was a home run. I appreciate that it’s not the same ideas I’ve heard over and over. Framing peel and stick wall paper is the most genius idea. Thank you❤
Kristen, Please consider doing a video on hw we can modernize old furniture Eg: classic wooden dressing table Giving a new and modern look to classical tiled counter tops and back splash
Girl I have been watching you for 30 days now . I really love how you use the earthy and minimalistic colors yet make everything look so cozy, welcoming, timeless yet some nice pieces that look like they’ve have some history Boy I could use your help in getting my place whipped together . I have watched many of your videos and gleaning from them. Still harder than it sounds . I am Having a hard time with our small home odd space
I liked the idea of leaning in to an element you may not like on its own, but once you tie it in, it looks intentional and high end. Your example was brilliant! ❤
Love when kitties make appearances 😻 I like the way you styled the throws on the chair and couch. I want to do some kind of “styling with my storage bench in the bedroom.
I love your videos… So helpful! I thrift a lot, always picking up large canvas and pottery to redesign. Painting pottery with a simple mixture of baking soda and flat paint adds texture, and painting over a canvas is relatively easy and very inexpensive!!!
I was gonna say “just alter/sew the pillow case smaller, but wow!! That hack was SO quick and looks SO GOOD, why waste the time and effort lugging out the sewing machine?!? I love that hack!!
I'm amazed by the insights shared in this video. It's like having an interior design expert guide you through the process of transforming your space. From maximizing lighting to arranging furniture, these secrets are invaluable for creating a stylish and functional home. Kudos.
I love the leaning into a feature idea. I've done it when replacing my carpet. I have many walnut furniture pieces so using an LVP flooring with several hues allowed me to keep the furniture and modernize the space simultaneously. Love your channel and your ideas. I also took your advice about several kinds of lighting.
As always, well done, Kristen. Really like the idea of mural wallpaper trimmed out and sight lines from one room to another created with lamp placement. Your ideas are so fresh compared to the repetitive stuff on some other channels. Many thanks! ❤
You have helped me so much with making my home look and feel beautiful and comfortable. I truly appreciate all the advice, information and tips! Thank you for making your videos 😊
The "using what you already have if unable to spend to change it" is spot on! When I moved into my current house, the living room was green. At the time, I had minimal money to make changes to the decor and decided it was "liveable" whilst other rooms needed immediate updates. Green has never been my interior colour of choice, but low and behold, green became the trending colour so I was able to accessorise it really well to the point I've added accents to my bedroom and will do to my daughter's room to tie them altogether.
Love your pillowcase hack! Also love your hack #2, I always tried to hide something I dislike instead of adding more of it to make it look intentional. That’s thinking outside of the box!
I love all these design tips. I love that you mentioned about “using or work with what you have”. We just bought a house and the entire downstairs has a good quality hardwood floors which is good. The problem is the color. We plan to maybe refinish it someday, but for now I just have to learn to work with it. And thanks for that particular design tip to use similar finish with decors to make it look intentional. I love that ! And I just subscribed to your channel for more!❤
Thx fr all the tips, Kristen! Frm the day I've strted following you, my house is looking so much better. Being a South Asian it's quite difficult to find similar decor pieces, but your tips have come in extremely handy. Love your videos ❤
This video on interior design secrets is a lifesaver! I'm no design guru, but these 10 hacks are simple yet brilliant. Tried a couple in my living room, and now it looks like it came out of a home decor magazine. Highly recommend!
I think the continuous flooring would make my master bathroom looks so much bigger. When we get around to removing the garden tub and replacing it with a walk-in shower, I would like to do the flooring truck you suggested.
Thanks for the great tips! I love thrifting. I mostly browse now, since I'm a minimalist, but if I need a new vase or picture frame, the thrift store is my first stop.
Hi Kristen 👋 thank you for these designer styling tips! These were great! Can you please do one on kitchen and bedroom? These tips are really going to help me! Love watching you ❤
I loved the insights from this interior design video. The styling secrets were presented in a way that felt accessible to anyone, and the examples shown were inspiring. I've already used some of these hacks in my own space, and the results are fantastic.
I love the mural wallpaper idea. I have very textured walls, so while adhering wallpaper directly to the wall may not work, using a panel to create the same look might do the trick. Thank you for the tip!
Your outfits from ThredUp are so cute. I thought that about the dress before you showed us all the outfits. That sleeveless, loose turtleneck was adorable! Casual but dressed up.
I thrift home decor, clothes and furniture! Thrifting is my JAM Love it! . I do like to shop well on a small budget. Now, my space and outfits do not look like yours but I try. Lol. You make it look so easy. You give wonderful inspiration and my space has definitely leveled up with the help of my fav you tubers sharing there knowledge. 😉☺️. Thank you!
I have throw blankts everywhere! That + overstuffing pillows are my 2 ways to make every room look luxurious. That was interesting advice about leaning into a design feature you don't like (e.g., red floors). I would not have considered that but it makes sense.
Thank you Kristen for sharing all the decoration tips like a pro. I wish I can find all the fabulous clothes that you find on thred up 😍. I will definitely will look at your favorites, wish me luck finding something nice for this fall in my size 😉
Thrift vases, pottery and art. Loved all 3 of your outfits. Never thought of going with the flow and adding more of a feature I can't change as a renter🤔
I use tip #1 with the pillow case easy and clean looking. Tip #2: gold on closet trim looks tacky alone, but looks intentional with the sconces just as she said!
It's one of my favorite videos. I'm in the process of having a home built, so I'm saving this one to use. Thanks always show a few examples of what you're talking about. Can't wait to see your next video.
Start with the most bold or obvious elements in the room you have to use, and build around it. It sounds obvious, but people tend to decorate in isolation, because they like a piece or think something matches arbitrarily.
Dear Kristen, Awesome video as always. I would like to ask you what are your thoughts and style ideas on minimalism for the home. I would love to see that video. Cheers.
Hey Kristin. I gave you thumb up always. I watched many videos when I started my house and trust me, totally changed many ideas and adopt somehow your vision of doing things. The house is fabulous and everybody asked who is the designer. Thanks you so much. A person loves his job always makes a difference in people’s life.
Could you please do a video on how to go about with peel and stick mural wallpaper? Is it easy to remove without damaging the wall? I have a wall that needed to be cover. Thanks Kristen ❤
I ❤ the idea of the wallpaper as framed art! I'm off to find some for above my couch after being frustrated for years as I have not found exactly what I wanted for 11:46 the long space there. Thanks!

Thrifting has provided me with much better furniture and decor than I could ever have purchased new. Makes me so happy.
Seriously. I'm so glad I learned to thrift furniture. Could never afford what it goes for new.
Completely agree, I have also bought from Auctions and sold for much more enabling to buy something else I’ve wanted for our home.
I’m really intrigued by the flooring idea of adding more color to that reddish flooring. It looked AMAZING!!! I NEVER would have thought of adding MORE of that same color would have actually worked!!! LOVED IT!!!!! 💕💕💕💕💕.

I love thrifting antique artwork - sometimes it's just the frame and sometimes is the whole thing. Antique paintings are the best find. 🙂

Right? Actually never thought of that. Crazy how something so simply can make such a huge difference!

"You just fold it in. Fold in the pillowcase."
This was a home run. I appreciate that it’s not the same ideas I’ve heard over and over. Framing peel and stick wall paper is the most genius idea. Thank you❤

Hello Kristin. Great decorations ideas and hacks. Thanks
That pillow case hack. Yes!
Such a great idea to bring more. I would have never thought of that.
Start with the most bold or obvious elements in the room you have to use, and build around it. It sounds obvious, but people tend to decorate in isolation, because they like a piece or think something matches arbitrarily.
I'm going to go do the pillowcase hack RIGHT NOW! 🙂 I love ALL of your decorating and design ideas.
