  • Escape to the remote forests of Alfonso, Cavite at the stylish cabins designed by Dennis Canonizado. Camper & Cabin Forest is the second development by the Canonizado, with the first one located at the top of Mt. Batulao.
The hilly terrain on this site proved to be challenging as Canonizado did not want to alter the shape of the land. He wanted the structures built to embrace the surrounding environment. Without removing the big trees on the property, Camper & Cabin Forest integrates and almost disappears into the natural surroundings.
Three cabins welcome guests - Pine, Oak and Fir. Pine makes great use of a glass ceiling, black wooden walls, and stone to create a light-filled, snug accommodation. Oak has two bedrooms and incorporates Japanese architectural details. Fir - the largest of the three - is composed of three separate cabins on stilts with a pool and a common dining area.
Campfire by Bawais is the restaurant on site serving up delectable Vietnamese cuisine.

This is well done in my opinion, and i like that the city is not far, yet this place allows you to lose yourself in nature & detox from the madness of this world.

this could be a perfect getaway if you wanted to feel one with nature. I really love the idea of the glass roof but just kinda scared of going alone.

Its looks wonderful as a whole, there's a vision that's really promising. My only concern is the heat with that many glass and galvanized roofs for each rooms. I see that there are ACs but with all the nature around and the general ambience I would have preferred to go natural.

Great insights! Ideally it would be best to go natural. In the afternoon and evening when it was cooler, we did. But during the daytime, in The Philippines it may be too uncomfortable without air conditioning.

Nice design but the black/dark color creates a scary environment.

I often wonder, when you have a sunken area outside, as you do , what happens when it rains? Does it become a swimming pool or a pond?

unrelentingly geometric so doesn't integrate with the natural environment at all.
