Thank you for making this video. I have a similar problem. I wanted to ask - did you switch the drone off before taking the sd card out after every failed attempt, or did you just take it out and put it back when it failed?

I had this issue, too. Then I've formatted the SD card, and updated the drone to the latest (1.8.10) via the DJO GO app. The loud beeping stopped as soon as the firmware update was successful. :-) So don't worry, it can be fixed quickly. :-)
TIP: as soon as you hear a loud melody from the drone while upgrading the firmware, turn the drone OFF!!! Or else you will get this beeping of hell........

I have the BIN file inserted in the SD formatted, but led the gimbal is solid green, the DJI app does not recognize the P3A continues noisy sound for more than 20 min.
I saw it in your video, the LED is red the gimbal, right? How long it took to stop noisy sound?

Just follow the instructions. Yes, once you insert the sd card and turn the aircraft on (after a few seconds) the aircraft should recognize there is a sd card with a new firmware. Try turning the aircraft off and on to see if the system will start the upgrade, if not, check the sd card is properly inserted or last try a new sd card with a fresh firmware.
Hola miguel cuando hablaste con los DJi por telefono q te dijeron y ademas mencionas algo del remote que no entiendo
Lo que ellos dijeron fue que se tomara algun tiempo, mas de lo usual y que tenia que ESPERAR un poco más a que la información de la micro tarjeta finalmente fuera obligada a entrar en el sistema de la aeronave. Cuando algo similar sucede lo más importante es el ser paciente y esperar por la luz sólida verde de LED y el sonido de DDD (y no el de DDDD). Gracias por ver nuestros videos.
I had this problem with my standard, there was no need to even touch the SD chip, just tolerate the sound and let it finish the update.
+Black Arrakis A good one my friend...I you have a P3 STANDARD know that the firmware upgrade is done using the DJI GO APP.
+Miguel Cabal139 yeah I was freaking out when I turned off my drone halfway through the update and then it was making the most annoying sound in the world when I turned it back on. watched a million videos, read a million comments and finally just tries to finish update with the noise. problem solved without being tech save.

Hola!! estoy teniendo este problema y he hecho de todo esto formatie la SD he tratado reinstalar el firmware varias veces, tanto el actual como los anteriores y siempre es lo mismo. Luego de como 25 minutos de espera con esos sonidos fuertes la luz que esta sobre la cámara en el gimbal la que parpadea de roja a verde mientras se actualiza queda pegada en rojo y haciendo un ruido extraño. Finalmente me arroja un txt que dice que debo reiniciar el drone y repetir el proceso. Ya no se que mas hacer
Reinicio la aeronave? usualmente se arregla despues de eso. Si no fue asi, debe comenzar el proceso nuevamente con una nueva micro tarjeta, pero primero asegúrese de cargar completamente la batería de la aeronave.
si hice de todo, finalmente lo lleve al servicio técnico. Aun estan tratando de arreglarlo

muchas gracias por contestar ya hize de todo lo unico que no prende ninguna led del phantom3 lo unico q funciona es la camara no me da estado de bateria no coje ninguna señal gps y ni me deja calibrarlo nose que es l que le pasa sigue con el sonido fuerte ese formatie la tarjeta le pongo la ultima actualzacion incluso le puse la anterior a ver que sucedia y empieza actualizar y luego de tres o cuatro minutos se queda la led del gimbal en rojo y deja de actualizar

I formatted the card and copy the bin file to the sd and it still has the loud beep, but i left it beeping for 10-15mins its fixed by itself..

I am so glad that the new micro SD card ended up working for you. the name of the game when this situation happen is be PATIENT. I took me more than usual but I waited until I saw the Greed LED light and the sound changed to DDD (instead of DDDD). Thank you for watching our videos.
Hi Miguel, you are my last hope. I have a P3P. And the camera is acting weird. when i turn on the P3P and then record a video the images are blurry. But after i reset the camerasettings the images are fine. Once i turn the bird off and then on again the problem starts all over. Blurry images until i reset the camerasettings. Do you have any idea why taht is?? cheers, Mark

Si puede tomar más tiempo de lo esperado. Tiene que ser paciente y la actualización será aceptada por su aeronave.

si pero el GIMBAL esta bueno ya que lo probe en otro ADVANCE actualice grabe video y foto , perfecto, no hya soporte aqui donde yo vivo , EL Salvador
saludos eso mismo tiene el mio en estos momentos pero me paso actualizando la ultima version disponible la 1.6 y por mas q lo intento no quiere hacer nada ahora no me funciona y nose como arreglarlo gracias en lo q me puedas ayudar
+Quiñones John Tiene que formatear la Sd card en su computadora (ha no ser que el P3 se lo permita hacer), ir a DJI.com y obtener el firmware necesario y bajarlo a su sd card. Con el P3 & transmitter apagados, entrar el sd card en el gimbal, encender el P3 y dejarlo que haaga todos los beep del Hell que el quiera y eventualmente verá el resultado (es posible que tome de 20 a 30 minutos). Déjeme saber si esta información le sirvió o no.
