I have to tell you, laser is the way to go. It might hurt but it's quick because it is a small area, so not only that, it makes it cheaper than other areas.
Yesterday I was talking with my dermatologist. She was impressed how much I already knew and told me the cosmetics that I use are really good, and we are not changing anything. I love using Korean Skincare toners, I feel they actual have benefits. One of my favourites is Benton Aloe BHA Skin toner which I use because my cleanser does not have any acids. This gently exfoliates my skin as using a Salicylic Acid product alone can be drying for me
Reasons I use toners: 1. I have combi to more on the dry skin 2. I get dehydrated skin easily 3. My K Beauty toner helps to calm down the redness and inflammation my skin No hate.....But yes I still watched this vid 'cause I love Dr. Shereene Idriss.😅

I am that person who uses a toner on a daily basis. Like hydrating or calming ones. Not those witch hazel, astringent types of toners. I hate those 😂😂😂. I have dry skin, so I feel like it kinda preps my skin before serum. Kinda like what a mist does, but I sometimes find mists not doing anything.
I was the same for quite some time but truly now I wash my face and then don’t dry it off and that sets up my skin for my moisturizer or serum quite well.
Until recently I thought they were all drying like witch hazel haha I have really dry skin too, could you recommend a couple of your faves if you see this? 😊

I use a toner 😅 it's a Korean toner called laneige cream skin toner & moisturizer. I use it as a moisturizer under sunscreen. I need some kind of moisture under sunscreen but nothing was light enough for my acne prone skin. But yeah I don't think of it as a toner, you're right. What is this word lol
I remember seeing Michelle from Lab Muffin recommend this... she said Cream Skin was actually formulated to be a toner or a moisturizer depending on what your skin needs. I use Cream Skin as well, and I love it!
the technology that laneige put into making that product..... ugh. i tend to stay away from pricier products but damn their cream skin refiner is literally unbeatable. 2-3 drops of it can easily beat most moisturizing cream products 😩
@@fruitymeadows I know what you mean about trying to stay away from pricier products but you're right, you don't need much of this and it lasts ages! I hope they never reformulate cause I use it morning and night daily. It's made a huge improvement. The only product I keep going back to lol
what you said about toners being better for oily, acne prone skin is so true. I have oily, acne prone skin, and I want to treat my skin barrier issues with ceramides, but I struggle to find a moisturizer with ceramides that won’t clog my pores (cos it’s always creams that contain coconut oil derivatives, which breaks me out, whereas gel/lightweight moisturizer never seem to contain ceramides?) so I use toner with ceramide instead, followed by moisturizing lotion, and it works wonders for my skin! so yes, I only use toners with specific value in mind. and I also love exfoliating toners.
Because of my oily acne prone skin, I use toner in the morning followed by sunscreen without moisturizer. I feel like the toner hydrates my skin enough without extra moisturizer. And I use serums at night.
I have oily/ acne-prone skin and I tried 6 months without a toner. I found it can work, but I prefer including a toner in my routine for a couple reasons. A lightweight hydrating and calming toner like Klairs Supple Unscented Facial Toner, can help tone down the redness in my skin and I feel I'm less oily throughout the day. Also I enjoy the therapeutic, spa-like experience with including toner and essence in my routine. I don't do a full 10 step routine, but I'm definitely using more than 5 products everyday and I'm happy to go through all the steps while taking my time. Toners are not essential like cleanser, moisturizer and sunscreen, but they can be beneficial if you find the right one for you or you actually like having a longer routine. If you're a skincare minimalist or you have very sensitive skin, then a toner isn't a must!
And that's a great point. Even if your toner doesn't have anything necessarily beneficial in it, but you enjoy it and it doesn't hurt your skin, continue using it! If it makes you feel good, why stop?
I would love our gorgeous doctor to check out eastern toners that are WAY different from the toners in the west. korean and japanese toners are so well-thought of especially these days where skincare is very much a part of a lot of people's routine. I've used and utilized toners, alongside my entire skincare routine, for my skin's benefit for 3-4 years now I think, and my skin has improved a lot even from the first 3 months of consistent routine with a certain goal in mind. My skin's needs change all the time therefore my skincare routine adapts to address these changes. Some people have to improve their knowledge with toners so it can work for them and not mess their skin. And brands also have to stop using false or misleading information to their advantage.
So, what exactly do they do? I know there's face wash for cleaning, physical and chemical exfoliators for exfoliating, humectants for hydration, and occlusives to lock in the hydration. What exactly does toners do? Some say it's to rebalance the pH level but she doesn't seem to mention that.
@@danlightened my answer will be solely based to infos I've gathered through influencers(the more credible ones), dermatologists, and my own very experience with skincare for 3 or so years. Feel free to correct or invalidate my points in the nicest way possible. Toners are used to fill in your skin's needs that are not present in your other skincare products in the routine or if present, in very minimal amounts. Think of the "missing piece" in your routine. The supplement that will help you fill in the gap. (No you don't need high concentrations of a single ingredient in ANY of your skincare steps unless prescribed by your doctor) For example, you're using a gentle cleanser with basic ingredients and has no any form of exfoliant in it, then adding AHA/BHA/PHA toners in your routine will benefit you, unless you exfoliate in your other steps or use retinoids along the routine. That will be over-exfoliating and will be counter-productive. Another will be if you don't have vit. C in any of your skincare steps. There are toners with vit. C and vit. C derivatives to help you with the lack of vit. C in your routine, tho vit. C's are usually offered and more effective in serums more than toners. All of these, of course, will have to depend on how your skin reacts to certain ingredients/products/ingredient combinations. It will be a series of trial-and-error until you find the ones that works for you, your skin, your routine, and your budget(please don't destroy your skin along the way). Knowing what ingredients do and testing them out little by little before actually proceeding to including them in your CURRENT daily routine will be the safest way to test things out. I hope I'm able to help you even just a little. That would make me happy.
@@hirohiwo I'm sorry if it sounded like I'm questioning you. I was just wondering which missing part in skin care routine does it fulfill? I don't know as much to correct to correct you. Anyway, you're probably correct. It's what I've read too and heard in her and other RUclips videos. I thought these actives are usually in serums and toners did some other things like tighten the pores, remove residues of other beauty products, rebalance pH as these brands have been claiming historically.
So, if your toner adds something that’s missing in the rest of your routine - use it. From watching a previous video I started using rosewater over the red areas on my face as per Dr Idris advice so I’m assuming if she does it there must be something worthwhile in it so I’ll continue. Other than that I love the PKY.
Wow mam!! thnx for clearly explaning whole myths about toners, because some people still using exfoliating toners daily Am and Pm as brands marketed them to really confuse people.and eventually ruining people's precious skin barrier... keep enlighting masses❤
I used to use toner but not consistently. But since I saw your last video about skincare we dont need. I will not purchase a toner I just go straight to serum etc. Salamat po always for very informative videos. God Bless Dr. Shereene😘
I so agree with you. I dont use acids in my facial wash. I started using “exfoliating toner” a few months ago and it definitely improved my skin especially on cleaning my pores. I follow up with hydrating toner after, I dont know if it actually does anything but it definitely makes my skin FEELS fresh. Also I do think Asian toners are superior to Western ones. I have not found Western toners I really like, but a few Asian ones I’ve tried are really really nice.
Present day viscous toners are basically "essences" marketed as toners bcoz its already staple in a skincare routine. I personally still use toner essences as a vessel or medium to deliver my actives/serums n extra hydration. Im an oily person living in a tropical humid country. I can put just toner and serum, call it a day. 😊 Yeah sunscreen 🤫😂
I love using toners especially the hydrating ones! My personal fave is the etude house soon jung toner. I put it in the fridge before i apply it and it feels 10x more better ♥️

I am loving the fact you pointed out that toners actually should not have marketing that states they "balance everything." If I use a toner after cleansing...I strip my skin and I break out. They truly need to pass more information branding specifications on to the consumers. So that the consumer can choose whether they need it or not. But of course if they do that, they lose money.
I can't live without my korean toners 😂😂 my routine includes cleansing - toner - moisturiser - sunscreen (am). Korean toners aren't astringent and they're focusing more on hydrating, soothing, calming and repairing which is why I love using it. I stopped using essence/serum. I found that layering my Make Prem Safe Me Relief Toner is enough. Korean toners are basically serums in a bigger bottle. The ingredients are almost similar. ALMOST. The only difference is "consistency".
The worst toners out there created in dinosaur 🦖 era are Clinique and Thayers. They still think toners are to get rid of Cleansing residue. Yalllaaaa Dr Shereene, get a Pyunkang Yul toner and let’s talk 😍😂
I went through so many bottles of thayers rose water toner 😭 before I discovered korean ones. I really screwed up my skin by doing that and now I can’t live without my korean ones.
@@cerulean_dreams0 because of the witch hazel. If your skin is very oily I guess it’s ok but not when it’s dry. It’s very old school toner. Glad you are enjoying korean toners. They are truly great 👍
My skin was super oily as a teenager, but as an adult, it’s more combo now. It totally didn’t help my dry patches. I’m so embarrassed about how many bottles of thayers I went through! Now, I can’t live without any of my korean products.
My skin cries at the memory of my awful acne being burnt by Clinique toner . My mum thought she was helping by buying a more expensive brand. Really it was just an expensive version of those awful teen acne products like oxy and clearasil 😭
I just recently started using Fresh rose toner, about month or 2 months ago. I could swear it has made my pores looks smaller. Idk how but I can see a positive change in my face. I use it for all the purposes you named and I am not giving up on my serums or moisturizers.
Rose water CHANGED my life! The inflammation in my skin has drastically went down since using it. No one can change my mind 😅 but I still loved this video!
I remember using 'toners' 50 yrs ago when my skin was oily/sensitive ... serums unheard of ! At 76 still don't quite understand all the different serums. I keep everything simple now & have good skin for my age.
Thank you for this explanation. I have very sensitive skin that can't decide if it wants to be dry or oily or scaly or pock-marked with acne. Yesterday was my birthday, and the little free gift I got from Sephora was a toner with marshmallow extract, seaweed something, and BHA/ADA... I think? Some combo of ingredients I'd never seen before. This morning I used if after my shower, and my skin was fine with it and feels amazing... way better than when I used the gentle moisturizers I've experimented with. I decided to not moisturize afterwards, it felt fine. It's nice hearing the last part of your video, that toners are good for people with delicate skin conditions. I'll have to try this and look into it to help with my weird skin.
I love toners! I have dry, sensitive and acne-prone skin. In my skincare routine, the toners are where the actives are, and they add much needed hydration. I’ve been loving Beauty of Joseon Ginseng Essence Water for the 2% niacinamide (and just look at the rest of the ingredient list) twice a day. Derma E Radiance Toner is my once a week go-to for glycolic acid. I like Sioris My First Essener the day after the glycolic acid and when I just need extra soothing and hydration. All three are vegan.
I love my soon jung toner! It delivers a lil bit of extra hydration and calming panthenol. My dehydrated skin loves triple layers: 1. watery 2. lotion 3. occlusive.
Thank you Doc Shereene for the follow up video. I really use toner HaruHaru Black Rice for its antioxidant benefits. Its an affordable alternative to a potent yet expensive Vit C serums. My skin is oily as well and my face becomes a greaseball especially every time I'm using sunscreens. You are amazing!!!
I actually use rose water from Asian shops as a toner to double cleanse my skin, reduce redness and hydrate. And then I use an essence basically a very light gel. Works for me :).
i hate to say this but toner really stepped up the game for me and this is something that i noticed with my friends too. I live in Uganda and so the weather is rather tropical most of the time and so sweat and dust are a staple and toner literally single handedly stopped my breakouts!!! I guess they work better for people in warmer weather, but anyway what do i know? but toner is very necessary!
I was definitely a traditional 3 step skincare user. However after doing some thorough research (a million thanks to you Shereene for being the catalyst!) due to developing perioral dermatitis (PD) I decided to change things up. I still use 3 steps but they are now much more skin friendly and I'm starting with basics in order to make sure my skin doesn't flare up with PD. I was thinking about transitioning from a toner to serum at some point. However, I am oily-acne skin type so I may just stick with toners. Eventually I'll introduce a serum to use some include some retinol.
Looove all of your videos!! I especially would like to learn more about sunscreen (a 2.0 video!): best ways to reapply/over makeup, what types may be best for your skin (not have HA/a bunch of unnecessary additives) and also reefs!
🎉Summary: Toner is a westernised word of essence. Essence have botanical ingredients. Toner is to be used after cleanser only if it’s delivering active ingredient that is not present in other steps of routine. 1) toners don’t have general function 2) don’t use it as double cleanse mechanism 3) toners are not meant to be make up remover Better for oily acne prone skin, to reduce contributing to oil production with thicker creams
Awesome concise and clear explanation. Im surprised she didnt mention the pH balancing claims. Is that not a thing? That claim was why i was considering incorporating a toner. Dr Idriss, any thoughts on toners and pH balancing?
I’m certain she did mention this. She said they were used before to rebalance the skin after using cleansers which were quite stripping. There is not really a need for toners to balance ph anymore as many good cleansers are already at the correct ph. I would recommend you try to find out what the ph of your cleanser is. A good hydrating and balanced cleanser would be about ph 5.5. If a cleanser is higher than 7, I would be adding in a toner for balancing ph. But many are not made for balancing ph anymore so I would go for the good old brands like clarins, Clinique etc for those. I could be wrong - maybe all toners still balance ph but they add in other stuff to keep with the times.
Thank you soooo much for clearing that up. I have normal to dry skin and I don't really wear very much makeup because I work from home. I use a double cleansing method at night (because I wear sunscreen). I have watched so many video's about toners and none of information regarding the use of toners has ever resonated with me. Now I finally understand why. Thank you.
I don't use a toner as such. I love the Nip+Fab Extreme pads for exfoliation twice a week. And the Josh Rosebrook Hydrating Accelerator mist, all the damn time because I LOVE IT!
Nothing to do with toners but I loooove your headband. What brand is it please ? Did you notice your headband and hair color match your bedding ahaha, so chic...
Thank you for your explanation in this video! I watched your other video "products you don't need" and I was honestly bothered by it because you just mentioned toners are useless without really explaining further. The reason it bothered me was because the things you mentioned here were on my mind. That even if the label "toner" is basically nonsense, the actives in each and every single "toner" out there could possibly have value if used correctly by the right person. So I didn't like how that video was a bit simplified and made it look like they are totally useless (and therefore nobody should use them) when we both know the right product could help the right person. Again, thank you for this video! Now I feel at ease... take care
yes yes yesss on the toners are needed for those people with oilier skin. as someone who have oily skin plus live in a very hot and humid country i rely on toners a lot. thank you doc❤️
The comment you made toward the end about the type of skin that benefits from toners is exactly why I struggle to use moisturizer. Even a basic lotion caused me to break out a lot, so I tried using gel moisturizer, but my skin got really oily shortly after, and I find myself trying to thin it out with a lot of water when I apply it (basically accidentally washing half of it off). I started to use a gently cleanser with low amount of salicylic acid, then some witch hazel "toner", and my skin isn't red or oily afterward, and I don't feel like swiping oil off of my face throughout the day. The main "moisturizing" component of my process is sunscreen (and I even use a non-oily sunscreen that feels pretty matte). I can't tell yet if it's helping with acne, but I'm breaking out less currently than when I tried to use stickier moisturizers
Please talk about lip discoloration, or lip care in general. I've had dark spots on my lips and not sure what products to use to get rid of them. I don't smoke, never have. Just started using lip balm with spf 30.
The best thing to do is to start wearing a lip balm with spf. These things take a long time to work. When you consistently provide spf to your lips, it will take a few months to notice a difference. If you can't wait so long, you should visit a derm
I understand your concern but isn’t a serum the same ? Just a product that might serve multiple purposes. I guess the problem is the name ” toner “, as some people might think it tones your skin and balances the PH . The way I see it, toner is just about the texture of the product
Agree these days serums are more waterlike serums. Great for extra hydration between steps! But I think before toners were ph adjusters after cleansing (because I guess old cleansers weren’t ph balancing) but I think the term nowadays toner is kinda outdated maybe essence works better then? Even though some will say essences and toners are different so I guess it just will show how everyone thinks of skincare differently
Before I even watch this ima gonna say beginning opinon 😂 I love me a toner! But not like a astringent based I’m in love with K beauty toners and treatment type toners ( exfoliating/ brightening / hydrating) let’s see if anything changes 😂 Update after video 😂 my toner is a serum hahahah I like it more cause thin consistency very hydrating focused and you get a lot more product! Referring to most k beauty skincare hahah Hate when brands tell you to use a cotton pad and toner to remove excess makeup THATS NOT HOW IT WORKS 😂 💀
Lately I decided to buy a toner, but exactly because it (I believe) makes sense in my skincare routine. I carefully chose ingredients I needed to add and also chose this formula because I wash my face only with tap water in the morning so I needed something to help me remove excess oil. Anyway I was living without it years before and as a consumer did not really get its benefit before I realize it can have some ingredients I am missing 😁 Edit: omg so many korean skincare products lovers! I have just started with it so I love to see so many fans!
Good video. Yes agreed not all people need toner depending on your skin condition. However its okay if you enjoy a toner and if it help in your skin care routine.I loveee my toner paula choice, pixi glow, pyunkang yul, L.A.F, isntree, cosrx and many more💕💕 All this different type of toner i will used whenever i need to specifically target my problem skin depending when it required. Hence the knowledge and understanding of toner is what important in this video. My personal opinion is that dr. shereene need to really look and educate people on the basic three step of skin care that we all learned when we are teenagers which are to cleanse, toner and moisturize. I think this way people are more willing to understand and see a more deeper meaning of a Toner 👌🏻🤗
Good one. I never understood what a toner is. Seems the term has been the go to word for certain formulas just because it's easier on the tongue, the word itself suggests well...toning.
I have been using a rose petal non alcohol toner by Thayers for many years, it works great for me. I have normal skin that seems to react well to it. My French American grandmother introduced it to me.
I love the Glow Tonic by Pixi (Glycolic Acid) and I think it makes a huge difference in my skincare. It does a chemical exfoliation and it works wonder for my skin that is clogged, but without breakouts.
In 2021, you likely won't find any skincare product that doesn't have an ingredient that isn't already in your other steps. The good thing about that is people no longer have to subscribe to the 50 step routine and realize that three steps daily (sans a specific active like Tret etc) is good enough. Also for a dry skin person like me, I love a good toner with hydrating ingredients or I'll use the Evian (or some other brand) water in an aerosol can. Hydrating in between steps has made a difference for ME. People get hung up on marketing but between my home routine, bi-monthly facials & quarterly trips to my derm, my skin barrier is pretty healthy. People need to do what works for them while keeping in mind a healthy skin barrier. You dismiss ingredients as if they serve no purpose (i.e. your hate for HA) when the truth is ingredients work for some, maybe not all but the real villian is the marketing scams!
Exactly! Instead of using the word 'toning' and I've always preferred calling it hydrating. A hydrating toner can be a bang for my buck and as far as HA goes, sure it might just be hype but you can really make it work for you if you know how. I live in a humid climate and have loves using Hada Labo lotions for years! They brought my dry & dehydrated skin back to life and i can always see my skin enjoying it
@@tha57 winters in Michigan is crucial so "toner" or whatever helps me a lot. Also, I spray throughout the day for extra hydration and some give me a certain glow that I like. People gotta know what works for them and she gotta stop coming for HA like it owe her money 😂😂😂
She never dismissed HA. If it works for you, then it works. She just mentioned that HA is extremely overhyped, especially when you have other far more effective and less expensive humectants like glycerine. This is something a lot of dermatologists agree with.

Thanks so much Doc, I have normal skin and using my La Mer THE TONER, while a lovely product, does nothing to add to my skincare routine during Spring/Summer months. I've decided to use it in the Fall/Winter months when my skin is drier. There I see the difference and benefit.
I've been using Monat's Water Essence for 4 months. They market it as a brightening and moisturizing product. Looking at the ingredients, thanks to Dr. Idriss, it has lactic and glycolic acid. I've been using this twice a day along with a glycolic acid serum twice a week. I've been using way too much chemical exfoliants! Gah! Gotta lay off the essence and be more aware of the ingredients in my skincare!
I'm still learning skin care, but I like to be very careful and deliberate with cleansing products that are supposed to be left on the skin like chemical exfoliants, and I can't help but to be skeptical of any product that claims to cleanse and hydrate the skin at the same time. That just sounds really counter intuitive, or at least less efficient than separating the steps. Anyways, guess I'll be sticking to my physiological saline solution for pH balance until a toner that doesn't claim to "cleanse" my poor dry skin is accessible in my topical country.
I do use lower pH essence/toner only because I have acne prone eczema skin and I live in Ile-de-France with disgustingly hard water. I only do it to make sure there aren't any mineral deposits left on my skin. I also tend to get Korean made essences because they are less likely to have alcohol or fragrances in them compared to French brands, and the active used to lower the pH tends to be less overall too, like if it's salicylic acid by law in Korea it can't be over 0.5% for over the counter (I've yet to find a French brand that works well with my skin)

Hey, what's the name of your toner please?
@@BabyGirl-cw6uj it’s an Indonesian brand: Avoskin - Your Skin Bae - Ceramide + Mugwort + Cica Toner
@@karlashrn Thank you for your response 😊💗.
@@BabyGirl-cw6uj you're welcome :)
I love Klairs as well, the only toner that works for me, plus my skin looks way better when I use it.
Agree! I love that toner too.
And that's a great point. Even if your toner doesn't have anything necessarily beneficial in it, but you enjoy it and it doesn't hurt your skin, continue using it! If it makes you feel good, why stop?
This feels like coming to class on a Saturday (one that I really look forward to).

(No you don't need high concentrations of a single ingredient in ANY of your skincare steps unless prescribed by your doctor)
For example, you're using a gentle cleanser with basic ingredients and has no any form of exfoliant in it, then adding AHA/BHA/PHA toners in your routine will benefit you, unless you exfoliate in your other steps or use retinoids along the routine.
@@danlightened p.s there's no one-size-fits-all in skincare, so I'd recommend to be wary, not hate, of products that says "all-in-one" lmao
@@hirohiwo It sounds like you are talking about serums. Toner as a name seems to be misused.
IN LOVE. knowledge is attractive.
Yeah sunscreen 🤫😂

ALMOST. The only difference is "consistency".
but girls hated toner n orefer serum tho
The worst toners out there created in dinosaur 🦖 era are Clinique and Thayers. They still think toners are to get rid of Cleansing residue.
Yalllaaaa Dr Shereene, get a Pyunkang Yul toner and let’s talk 😍😂
I went through so many bottles of thayers rose water toner 😭 before I discovered korean ones. I really screwed up my skin by doing that and now I can’t live without my korean ones.

My skin was super oily as a teenager, but as an adult, it’s more combo now. It totally didn’t help my dry patches. I’m so embarrassed about how many bottles of thayers I went through! Now, I can’t live without any of my korean products.

I remember using 'toners' 50 yrs ago when my skin was oily/sensitive ... serums unheard of !
At 76 still don't quite understand all the different serums. I keep everything simple now & have
good skin for my age.
My dehydrated skin loves triple layers: 1. watery 2. lotion 3. occlusive.
Good morning Dr Idriss! 🌤️ skin nerd here ready to take notes! 💛🌞
I have requested this topic a bunch of times. Thank you for listening! It is appreciated.
I use a hydrating toner with glycerin for my dry skin :)
Love your videos Dr Idriss, they're so clear and educational!

i hate to say this but toner really stepped up the game for me and this is something that i noticed with my friends too. I live in Uganda and so the weather is rather tropical most of the time and so sweat and dust are a staple and toner literally single handedly stopped my breakouts!!! I guess they work better for people in warmer weather, but anyway what do i know? but toner is very necessary!
LOUDER and more SKIN CARE TRUTHS PLEASE! Soo tired explaining to my family so they can save money from unnecessary skin care products.
I only trust my hadalabo premium lotion, its hydrating toner
I love it

🎉Summary:
Toner is a westernised word of essence.
Essence have botanical ingredients.
Toner is to be used after cleanser only if it’s delivering active ingredient that is not present in other steps of routine.
1) toners don’t have general function
2) don’t use it as double cleanse mechanism
3) toners are not meant to be make up remover
Better for oily acne prone skin, to reduce contributing to oil production with thicker creams

Thumbs up for the info. Let's just say some reputable skincare websites are still getting the definition on toner and essence wrong
All of your videos are enlightening! I learn so much and appreciate the effort you put into giving us so much information. Big hug from Louisiana!
Thank you.
Perfect. Everyone needs to watch this. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

So cute, right?
I can't tell yet if it's helping with acne, but I'm breaking out less currently than when I tried to use stickier moisturizers
please do a video on korean skincare!!! would love to hear your thoughts about it especially in comparison to western skincare
I look forward to your videos every week!
But not like a astringent based I’m in love with K beauty toners and treatment type toners ( exfoliating/ brightening / hydrating) let’s see if anything changes 😂

Would love to see a video on EGF’s and how we should be using them on aging skin 😊
Lately I decided to buy a toner, but exactly because it (I believe) makes sense in my skincare routine. I carefully chose ingredients I needed to add and also chose this formula because I wash my face only with tap water in the morning so I needed something to help me remove excess oil. Anyway I was living without it years before and as a consumer did not really get its benefit before I realize it can have some ingredients I am missing 😁
Edit: omg so many korean skincare products lovers! I have just started with it so I love to see so many fans!
Definitely helpful! I was really confused with toners thanks!
Thank you for the Saturday dose of great content! Nutrition for our skin and minds... wish these videos were longer :'(
Good one. I never understood what a toner is. Seems the term has been the go to word for certain formulas just because it's easier on the tongue, the word itself suggests well...toning.
I love the video but still going to continue using my korean toners😅🤣 i even have hydrating, exfoliating and brightening toners😂
I have been using a rose petal non alcohol toner by Thayers for many years, it works great for me. I have normal skin that seems to react well to it. My French American grandmother introduced it to me.
I've been wondering about this forever, thank you for this vid!
truly love the way you explain things

Doc can you please do a video for How to treat or what products you would recommend for KP on the face ?
