I just discovered your channel and I love it, so I subscribed. 💜 Thank you very much for all the information and interesting videos. I have a lot to learn. 🎂
@AsiaCoffee what size are these cakes again are they 4inch 6inch and 8inch? And did u have to cut the holes in the cake board or did u fins these with the holes in them
@AsiaCoffee thank u so much ❤️ I was wondering I forgot to ask u the silver base u use is that also 10 inch? And when u put the straws and dowel rod in won't u cut into it when u cut the cake ?
super cool, hey Asia did you use your awesome buttercream recipe you showed us previously how to make with these tiered cakes? you are so talented girl
I believe this may have been Swiss Meringue buttercream…. 🤔 I have a video about it in my “Recipes” playlist. Thanks for watching (and for the kind words 😊)! 💕
@@nancywalker261 Hi there! Thanks for subscribing! I use a cake lever tool to level my individual cake layers before stacking. I also ice my cake tiers using the “upside-down” method: ruclips.net/video/SkaHjJtn5HM/видео.htmlsi=TDD2hGjIsJzitkms. This tends to keep everything nice and even! Some people check their cakes with a small level tool. I don’t do that, but you may want to try that too. Thanks for watching!
Yes, the straws are strong enough WHEN used with cake boards (not by themselves)! I’ve always use the large straws to stack cakes and I’ve been stacking for years. Thanks for watching!
Love this!! What color is the dark pink? I’m looking for the same pink for my daughters cake. I only bake for my kids and family so not too familiar with colors
Great question! The colors I used are from Colour Mill's Desert set. The dark pink is "Burgundy", the light pink is "Dust" and the cream color is "Latte". Thanks for watching! 💕
Thank you darling I'm going to send this to a ten-year-old who has her own business making cupcakes. She asked me for my help because I also baked as well but I'm going to send her . Her mother asked me for help, since I make cakes too. God bless.🇨🇦❤️🌹
Great question! It really depends on HOW the cake is cut. I’ve gotten about 12 slices from the top 6” tier, about 25 slices from the middle 8” tier, and about 30 slices from the bottom 10” tier. In total, this size cake would feed about 67 people. You could get more servings if the slices are smaller. Thanks for watching!
I love it! 😍 I’m stacking my first cake for my daughter’s baby shower in July. She’s having a baby girl… I’m so excited! My second granddaughter in 10 years. Anyways, I’m a little nervous. I’m not nervous about the cake tasting good. I’m nervous about the stacking process. 😩 I don’t want it to collapse! 😭 I’ve been looking at soooo many tutorials, yours is simple, yet helpful. Makes me feel confident, that I can do it! 💪🏾 You made it look so easy. How many days in advance can I stack the cakes? I’m praying it comes out right. 🙏🏾 I’m doing 10 inch strawberry rosettes, a 8 inch red velvet and a 6 inch vanilla. Do you think it’s a good idea to use a stabilize cream cheese buttercream frosting? Any advice for a first time cake stacker? #help 😂 Btw new subbie. 🫶🏾 TFS, Shalom
These all all GREAT questions! You can stack your cake up to a couple of days in advance. You must keep it refrigerated during this time, so make sure you have enough room to store it for a couple days! Does your stabilized cream cheese buttercream harden solid when refrigerated? If so, you’re in the clear. You must be very careful with cream cheese icing/frosting because it tends to be very very soft. First-time stackers: Make sure you have all the supplies you need before you start AND that your cake tiers are SOLID beforehand. Use gloves! Best of luck on your cake! 💕
@@AsiaCoffee thank you so much for your advice. I appreciate you for replying back so quickly. I hv a refrigerator specifically for cakes… I can move a shelf or two for the stack cake. Also, my cream cheese buttercream frosting does gets hard when refrigerated. It’s made with butter and a high ratio shortening. Btw, I got everything I need for this cake. Thanks again. Shalom

Hi, thank you for this amazing video. Can you tell me what is the size of the wooden dowel for the center of the Three cakes. Thank you
Maria fron CT
Hi Maria! The wooden dowel is not very large. I believe it’s maybe 1/4 inch wide if not slightly smaller. Great question and thanks for watching!
@AsiaCoffee what size are these cakes again are they 4inch 6inch and 8inch? And did u have to cut the holes in the cake board or did u fins these with the holes in them
Thank you so much
@@amberkemble6340 These cake layers are 10”, 8” and 6” round. I buy the Wilton cake boards with the holes already in them. Thanks for watching 💕

Loved it! But i didn't understand y i need to use the straws..is it because of the weight of other tiers?
Thank you
Correct! The straws work with the cake boards to distribute the weight of the tiers above. Thanks for watching 💕
Straws are strong enough to withold the weight if the cake?

Hi Asai!
Can you please share how many people this cake can feed?

How to make beetroot color icing
How far should you put the bubble t straws
The straws should go all the way down into the cake until it hits the cake board. Great question! Thanks for watching 🍰
What sizes of your 3 tierd cake? Thanks
This cake has a 10”, 8” and 6” tier. Thanks for watching!
So cute but I can't get past some debris of the plastic straws when they were getting cut were over the bottom layer :(
Not sure what you mean, but thanks for watching and taking a moment to comment. 💕
@@AsiaCoffee minute 2:43 and 2:58 you can see a tiny tiny piece from the straws when being cut.

😍😍🥰🥰
Why keep the cardboard under the cakes & the straws? When you cut it won’t you cut into the cardboard?
The cake board and straws are required to keep the stacked cake from collapsing / falling in on itself. Sometimes people use wood dowels in place of the straws.
You didn't add any frosting to adhere the tiers as you were stacking 😬
Correct… I didn’t. Where does it says that I need to?
Doing it yourself isn't as easy as it looks
True, but with practice it gets easier (like most things). Thanks for watching and leaving a comment!
