(Ascendancy) A musical virtuoso and prodigy, a songwriter that has that incredibly rare "special shine" that stands out well above the rest...he is an incredible and god-level talented musician. Also love how self-aware and constructively articulate he is too. This was a great insight video!

I’m about to start writing lyrics for my solo EP, And this is really helping me because I haven’t really wrote lyrics before and I was so stuck I think this will help me get unstuck.
This is pretty much how I’ve written lyrics for the 50+ songs I’ve done. In my experience, it’s much easier to fit lyrics in once you’ve found an idea for the melody or rhythm of the vocals. A good idea for finding a style that fits you is to write as you’re recording, like Matt is doing here. That way you can hear when something doesn’t sound right immediately and address it, and you’re less likely to spend two hours overthinking the words, which often leads to a lack of enthusiasm or unfinished songs.
I need the part 1 of this video where you wrote the song. Is there a GG video or a good video in general how to structure a good metal song? That would help alot.
