One thing that helped me was setting a 10 day challenge. 10 songs in 10 days only 10 mins a song. Somehow that pressure forces stream of consciousness. Not complete songs but it gives a lot of body and the rest can come later

Great video... I've done this a lot before. It usually works or starts lyrics for an entirely different song!!
Thank you. Yes, all kinds of ideas will start flowing.
I can never bring my ideas together or get stuck on one good thing and i dont wanna just put lazy "filler" in between the good parts
But then it ends up being some weird but interesting stuff but not a good song
One thing that’s important is you writing things down is not finished and we shouldn’t think of it like that or we get nowhere. Songs are revised for many weeks or more and sometimes less if we get inspiration. The beauty about our minds is you’ll be thinking of new ideas or better ideas built off the old ones. It’s a long process and it very similar to sculpting a statue.
