The image quality is pretty bad. Probably came from a VHS recording. That's why we can't see the "lifting cables" properly. But good observations anyway!

I was like wtf no stop motion, no wires, no animatronics , and off course not advanced CGI wtf. Turns out It was rear projection screen (so yes it is hard to see in those lower quality videos). They build set and used combined videos with rear projection, models, miniatures andimatronics so that scene still holds up today - lol i was fooled by T2 documentary video seeing Terminator by himself just walking in background lol.......
Back to the future part 2 is one of the most underrated movies of all time and one of the best sequels in movie history. Just think of it, they had to recreate the 50's scenes from the first movie and the also created one of the best looking futuristic cities in cinema history. It continues very well with the first movie and you have a great storyline which includes three decades. Great entertainment and a great technical achievement

There was this lady watching another video and commented they filmed that when she was in 7th grade and her house was on that road when she was a kid. And she got up at 6 am with her friends to watch them film and she got to give Michael J. Fox a high five and she met Elizabeth😭😭❤️ it’s sooooooooooooooo amazing and if you think about it, it kinda wasn’t that long ago and you can still visit Marty’s house in real life and there filming locations😍 wish I didn’t live in australia😢😭😂
You should watch the Back to the Future 3 home video of people filming from their neighbors house across from Marty's house of them meeting Michael, the cast, and crew and their family/friends while taping scenes. It's very cool. You could see Michael standing there and walking around eating in Western costume and doing lines with the cast over and over again.
Not just Mattel, basically anybody involved with the movie also had parents asking how to get one for their kids. They even had to make a list of FAQ and answers for the crew because so many people were asking!

@@The12thDimension. watch Captain disillusion video about the effects in back to the future, using strings would make the car go all wobbly, it would be hard to have it to move that precise, i only said this because in couple of scenes in the movie you can tell some kind of pole object is used to move the entire car because they only show half of the car in those scenes, take the shot of marty and dr brown going to hilldale in 2015 to get jennifer, we start with a delorean model in a blue/green screen, here they use the same method they use in starwars, later it cuts to the actual real life delorean with doc and marty coming out of it, without any cuts when the door is open, so emptying the car to be as light as possible won't help when you have 2 actor in the car

For me Back to the Future Part II is one of the greatest sequels ever made it’s up there with Terminator 2 and Empire Strikes Back
T2 takes the cake easily imo. It was undoubtedly better than the first. Bttf 1 is is far better than 2 and star wars is debatable.
