October 21st 2015 was such a strange day to me: It was as if I was starting a new timeline for myself. Ever since I was a kid, I was always looking forward to that day, but never really thought about much past it. This message from Doc Brown and Universal was incredibly special to me.

I'll tell you that food industry and the "DIET" industry bare half the blame for this health catastrophe. I'll be frank, I was gargantuan in size, I weighed 340 pounds on January now I weigh 275. I'm 5'11, I'm still huge. (I have plenty of muscle mass though, I can bench press 250 pounds.) But I'm getting there.
I have had to eat two baked potatoes, salad, oatmeal and bland steak daily to get here. I had to cut ALL ADDED SUGAR, ALL BREAD. AND DRINK NOTHING BUT WATER, CHEAP SCOTCH, AND MIDNIGHT BLACK COFFEE! I did that myself. I also swim, and walk everyday starting at 6:00 AM sharp.
What I am trying to say is that there is no need to kick someone while they are down jackass. Do you point and laugh at the guy that twisted his ankle after failing down the stairs? Do you constantly harass neighbors and co-workers that have a nicotine addiction? (You are probably guilty of both.)
Really, what sad, pathetic excuse for a life that you have that you need to stoop to this sadistic mockery for sick personal entertainment is beyond me.

It's sad to see how old Christopher has gotten. Don't get me wrong, this got me very excited, it's just that when you compare his energy and quirkiness in the movies to this then it's really apparent that he has changed. It's a reminder that everyone gets old, even movie heroes, and it hits you real deep. I'll be so sad when Christopher passes away, such an icon!

NO because this clip is not a part of the actual Movie series and therefore has no impact on the three movies or their continued storylines.

NO it wouldn't be canon because the movies were still made with an un-impacted storyline which never mentioned or has any continuity with the "well wishing" scene that is now part of the Box Set but not the series story arch.

I get why some people might be depressed. The then-future, now-present absolutely blows. When we first watched BTTF2, the year 2015 was something magical. Now that we're here, we can see it's not nearly as awesome. It's a dark, depressing time, and the future doesn't look any better. Things slowly deteriorated and aside from constant miniaturization of components that led to smartphones and all kinds of gadgets, the tech industry pretty much stalled. We're still driving the same inefficient, polluting cars. Nothing is much different. And people are so obsessed with the 80's because today's entertainment doesn't capture their imagination.

2020 is way more fucked up
the 80s was a time when social conditioning stopped for a decade. Movies with great stories and music were churned out. Then the model culture, talentless celeb worship, and social conditioning went hard core. it's so awful now. It has changed people in a bad way.
This trilogy was amazing. Films shot in film just have much more magic. digital only works for x men spiderman and films like LOTR.
Hollywood won't go back to what they used to do. They will just keep remaking films and writing new stories that will continue to ruin and brainwash future generations.
I'm grateful to the creator for creating an epic franchise. Movies which the whole family could watch. Innocence has been lost for a long time. I hope a new industry pops up and creates classics again.

***** it was truly the perfect decade. Sure it had bad stuff but the whole feeling seemed to be much better. Rights were around and everything seemed in harmony. The worshipping came along near the end and it's obvious movies now just promote the agenda of the creeps at the top.
I have a similar feeling about the entertainment industry in general today. Hollywood is dead. Just greedy corporations making money. Back to the future is a timeless classic. ;)
