How to make it to make ice? Lol sometimes it makes ice then it suddenly stops for months
Our LG fridge is 10 years old working fine it had a few problam in the past but few months a go it stopped making ice now I learned how to reset it now it works
But if I am alcoholic the I need 9 to 20 in a day

I have this LG P.O.S fridge and the craft ice doesn't make a round ice ball, it makes a giant block of ice.
Mine too, it used to work good, but I forgot to change the filter and it started to pour ice layers in the tray
What model is this? My parents bought this model and the instructions are in a different language and we could not figure out how the ice maker works. Thank you.

look for a small white button/switch on the top of the ice maker. i did this with the cubed ice maker and it dumps the water on the floor or inside the fridge. make sure you have a rag to wipe up the water

Yes, unfortunately it only makes 3 craft ice balls a day.

I would recommend contacting the company you bought it from to see how your warranty is set up.
Did they fix their compressors? My new LG has the craft ice and smart inverter compressor. Do I have the compressor that is going to fail?

press reset button on icemaker. this will "purge" or, more simply, dump the water out of the baskets leaving you to clean up the mess off the floor. it will then refill it with water
What if I want more? What if my 50 guests all want drinks? I am completely joking about that cause I love my craft ice.
But I am having some issues and my manual is not helping.
#1. I want to disable the open door alert/chime so badly but I can’t. I saw a video of some guy ( my same model - LRYKC2606S he went up at the top of the fridge , door hinge cover plate and there were 2 clips ( each clip had about 3-4 wires per clip. He unplugged the right to get at the left then unplugged the left and only plugged back in the right side. He did it right when the chime was on and it stopped. I am worried that leaving that left clip unplugged will be preventing function somewhere else in the fridge.
#2. My craft ice in the drawer ( the golf balls and nugget, are filling very slowly. I get the golf balls , only 3 or rather 6 now since I changed it to 6 but the nugget ice is slow filling vs the door ice.
Should rephrase it will make 3-6 before maybe breaking again or freezing up.
2nd LG refrigerator- both with crappy ice makers. The indoor one is “ok”. Doesn’t dispense crushed ice well due to hearing whining noise and the dispenser for ice sucks unless you use a large opening container. Go figure
