I feel investors should focus on under-the-radar stocks, considering the current rollercoaster nature of the stock market, Because 35% of my $270k portfolio comprises plummeting stocks that were once revered. I don't know where to go here out of devastation.

With everything said in the conference call yesterday, there wasn't one thing about what is going to be done to increase car sales in the short term. Everything said was encouraging 6 months or years from now. With high interest rates, you would think car sales would continue to suffer until Fed cuts rates. Thus would expect Tesla shares to be under pressure for some time. All you saw today was some of the big portfolio 0:02 managers covering some of the short positions, no one was buying to hold long term.

Tesla reported $1.2 billion in operating profit in the first quarter and $1.5 billion in adjusted net income. Both numbers were short of forecasts and down more than 50% from a year ago. In terms of delivery guidance, Tesla said it still sees "notably lower volume," echoing what the company said in its Q4 earnings report.
Shocker! I'm glad Elon spoke uo on guidance but there was no new data. It spiked for no reason. I'm in long, but I like a reason for growth so it sticks around.
My opinion the only reason it went up Tesla stock jumped in after-hours trading on Tuesday after the company said it would accelerate the launch of more affordable vehicles, countering the company would scrap these plans.
