very helpful tutorial, the only one that helped me in exporting with the embedded texture, all the other tutorials I watched didn't do the simplygon step and I could only export the plain grey model out from blender, thank you Freedom

Thank you so much for this. I use 3D stuff for Davinci Resolve. In case people are like me who wish to do something similar, there a few extra steps:
1. Once the FBX is imported to DVR, it will STILL have no textures
2. Remove the MediaIn node at the very left-most part of the node tree of the FBX
3. Add in the exported texture PNG
4. Connect the texture PNG to the node tree (replacing that MediaIn node)

Do you like this method over using renderdoc? I tried using your last tutorial using it but couldnt get it to work on my computer .
Renderdoc is not working recently. So I use this blosm method.
Bro when doing to image saving and applying it, the model loses quality and becomes pixelated. Is there a way to increase quality so that it is more HD

20:03 I don't have the UV basenode, my model has several different UVs, they are not all merged into one... Any advice?
I have the same problem. There are TONS of materials but no Simplygon material to export from the UV... where is the baked image?
@@tculhane In fact the problem came from the fact that I had not installed the addon correctly..
@@tculhane If the addon is correctly installed and you do the manipulation you will indeed have a single texture for all your model :)
@@unviewerpascommelesautres3529 The add on "seems" to work (i.e. it created ProcessedMeshLoad LOD_1) but doesn't create a single texture. Can you tell me what you had done wrong that perhaps I also messed up?
Is there a name for the single texture that is standard (Simplygon?)
Can this work with Roblox rp games?

Simplygon is undownloadable. It requires a title license key, which requires the app to download, but you need the app to get the title license key therefore rendering this entire tutorial useless. Thanks for wasting my time
Hi, Simplygon discontinued recently. It no more allowed free download. The free license will all stop at March 2024. We are going to think a new way to bake materials.
