@@AngrySnowboarder why not? Seems like a cool new company with some interesting boards. Would be nice to see your opinions on them and how they stack up to the rest.
It's Evo's store brand, honestly don't give a shit about them as I don't think they'll be around in a few seasons or they'll be relegated to being just another Me too brand.
@@AngrySnowboarder ahh gotcha, I didn’t realize that. Thanks for the info! I just noticed TJ from board archive is going to be switching between one of their boards and the evil twin this year so I figured the boards were good.
Need to teach my daughter to carve this season, she has a full rocker board (Arbor Ethos Rocker) but his hesitant to set a toe side edge. I'm between this and the K2 Cold Shoulder, any strong lean or would either do the trick to help her progress?
@@AngrySnowboarder thank you. I traded it out for the 148. one other question: binding wise, did you go with the recommended mounting position or did you set it back further?
Searching for a second board to add on to my 149 fun.kink. Want it to be able to float deep snow, handle some exploring, and get between trees while still being able to party a little hitting side hits and whatnot. 5’7 130lbs with size 8.5 boot thinking a 149 Camel TWO - thoughts or suggestions?
how would you compare the bataleon camel two vs the party wave +? i'm a bit worried about how i've been hearing the party wave is kinda slow on the edge to edge
@@AngrySnowboarder thanks for the reply! Surprised to hear the camel two is stiffer than the party wave+ since bataleon rates them differently (flipped) but good to know. What do you mean different edge engagement?
@@wilsonlam7877 When you enter a turn there's the edge engagement. The PW is a little more laid back but the Camel Two is more assertive. When you're on edge that gives it more power in a carve and lends itself to having more drive out of the turn as you go from edge to flat base and on to the other edge. Bataleons flex rating system has always been wonky and as a person that firmly believes these marketing numbers don't mean shit it shows.
What’s up AngryS-AF, have you ever done a mind blowing board list for each style of riding? Also, what are the specs for a heavy rider considered at. I’m 5’8”, 195-200, size 12. I’m guessing I’m in the band, but how much consideration should I give my weight because it’s always a matter of 2-4cm difference depending on the board.
Do you mean Top 5's? Taking out personal preference and where you ride, you always want to be in the middle of the range to optimize what the board can do.
@@AngrySnowboarder the top 5s give great ranges, but more so your personal this is my favorite of favorite - epiphany level boards. Maybe in the vein of your Amplid Singular review but more so. Just a thought. Which board was effectively like heroin, Heroin Level Boards.
I just got this board for my gf, 5’8 150 ibs , got her the 153 on sale, i hope the size is good,
can you please do a review on the rome artifact

TJ is also paid by Evo.

Neither, Jesus if she can't carve she needs to stay on what's she's on till she feels comfortable.
I have seen that there is no wide version of this model. The 162 do you see small the Waist Width for a boot size 44 (US 10)?
You're fine.
Great review and info. Thank you! I just purchased the 144!! I’m 5’9 & 145 lbs. Do you think I went too small?
You're in that gray area between the 44 or the next size up.

Nice review. Is this board similar to the bataleon love powder? Asking for my girlfriend.
Yes.

Stiffer flex throughout, different edge engagement, little more nimble on a groomer.
