I just got a board with a sintered WFO. What does that mean? And is there any recommendable waxes for that?

The sintered WFO base from Burton is a high end sintered base that has had wax kind of baked into it. Super fast right out of the packaging! Moving forward though as you need wax just treat it like you would any other base. Nothing special that needs to be done. 👍

If sintered bases should be waxed every 2-3 full days of riding. How often should you wax an extruded base? Once a week?

Theres no rule to either to be honest. The main things is if your base is looking a little dry, like its getting a little white and fuzzy them you should wax it. Or if you just feel like your board is moving a little slow. Keep your eyes peeled in the future for our "maintenance" videos included info on waxing boards. 👍
