There's a video that actually covers why Fatalis hates pretty much of all of humanity in a way it's pretty justified, in my opinion. It explained a long time ago that wyverians, humans, palicos, and monsters coexist. The ancient civilization had somehow total control over the low ranking monsters up to the elder dragons. To the ancient humans, they didn't see the monsters as sentient beings, so they took advantage of them. One such instance was building a tower out of the remains of Kushala Doara apparently thwy sacrificed a lot of this type of elder dragon. Then they passed off the monsters, so pretty much the humans and wyverians were in thin ice with monsters. Then they had a idea they decided to create The Abomination they ended up killing 30 monsters to create this thing they wanted a powerful monster under thier control. This pissed off the monster population and our humanity hating dragon Fatalis came out of nowhere and burned the kingdom to the ground and Fatalis made that fallen kingdom its home. Not all elder dragons are bad as longer you don't cross thier territory then your good. The only time you have to kill the monsters if they suffer the frenzy virus and kill the elder dragon responsible for that.

In terms of a canonical chronological one, yes! We know MHWorld happens after MH4U thanks to NPC dialogue and the canon animated movie Legends of the Guild. We also know MHFU happens sometime 40 or so years before World thanks to the Huntsman NPC as well
Jeez... I hope they stop doing Japan only games now that Monster Hunter does so well out of that country now. Hopefully they do another Frontier style game considering how MMOs do nowadays and the fact that Activision Blizzard offed themselves and now people are moving towards other MMO games.

Same, started with world, and now rise, I’ve seen gameplay of the older titles, and I especially like the look of the first Monster Hunter games on the PlayStation 2, especially the first ever Monster Hunter game, I wish I could play it- but I’m broke- don’t got a pc to emulate it- or a PlayStation 2, but from what I heard the games controls are horrible- since you attack with analog joysticks, and you can’t move while drinking a potion, so that does sound a bit rough but- I still wanna try it regardless, maybe someday- but for now I’ll stick with monster hunter world/monster hunter rise, but I do gotta say I prefer the atmosphere and soundtracks of the older games, along with the art style.
