A “more difficult” trail? Yes. Our Jeep are on 33” tires with at least a front locker. Could you make it in a less equipped vehicle? Sure. Next time I want to tackle this one with out the flash flood warning so I can take my time.
My Jeep the “Red Dwarf “ has a factory 2.5l w/ 5speed, Rough Country 2.5” short arm suspension and 2” body lift to clear the 33x10.5r15 Interco Boggers. Front 4.10 D30 has a Spartan locker. Rear 4.10 D44 has alloy shafts and a Detroit locker.
My wife’s green TJ has a 4.0l with automatic transmission, SYE, Rough Country 4” long arm, Spartan front locker and an open D44 rear. 33x12.5r17 Super Swamper SSR’s pull it through just about anything.
