1000 hours on Harbor Freight Predator 3500w generator. Maintenance, oil change, spark plug, etc.

    I love real honest non sponsored videos. Nice job. I work in Newark NJ and every food truck run these things. They have to be good to see this many.

    Just passed 1400 hours. Tightened a bunch of screws and zip tied the coil into a position that keeps it from holding water.

    Maybe the generator got tilted at some point= oil fouling the air filter

    Starts perfect, But dies after 10 seconds, Changed plug, oil, full of gas, By passed CO & Oil still dies after 10 seconds, any help ?????

    Thanks guys. I'm very interested in how many hours people have seen on the smaller 2000w-3500w Predator generators. I've tried to see how many hours folks in Puerto Rico are getting on them as they run 24/7 for months after storms. But I'm not having much luck getting numbers from folks. Cheers

      We’re up to 1900 hours now. Our battery for the electric start just died after a rough life. Off to harbor freight for a new battery.

    Mine was awesome. It lasted so long. A whole twelve hours then it took a shi. Then predator generators are nothing but junk. Disconnect this unplug that tie these wires together untie these wires piece of garbage.
