I'm always confused by people who either don't like women in motoring, or just cannot accept change. Yes I enjoyed "hippie HubNut" back in the day. The channel is seriously leagues better now than then .
Some people just like to say not good things. Heres my take on it. I have watched your channel a long time. Its a fantastic channel and all round entertainment. You both are a superb double act and compliment each other so well. Carly's enthusiasm is brilliant for the channel and top viewing. All content is fantastic and its a privilidge to support your channel. Always good times.
We all need to take a moment and reflect on the poor commenters who feel so threatened by the effervescent presence of Miss Hubnut. It is such a shame that they feel so threatened by the presence of ‘she’, even if she need not be obeyed. These poor individuals deserve sympathy, forbearance and patience in the hope that they will eventually emerge from the turmoil of self induced fear and embrace the joys of Carly’s enthusiasm and organisation. Without fear and trembling.
Miss Hubnut is a wonderful addition to the channel. I enjoy your content as I am in the USA and the cars you drive are not found on this side. I am happy for you that She is there and is so bubbly and helpful and not afraid to get her hands dirty. Good Luck to the both of you and many happy miles together.
Sorry I could resist , taking a trip up to "Avagabenny" , I' ve got to get there and fast, see a red dog , and passing the time with paradise people, a photograph for those of us on the other side of the globe. Sorry a song hard-wired from childhood.
The song was a satire of course. Marty Wilde spent some time there as a kid, had some happy memories, but anyone can tell you that there's not a whole lot to get excited about in Abergavenny. After it was a big hit in the Netherlands in '68, many young Dutch adventurours traveled there, only to find it a bit dull ...
Unfortunately some people are so socially backward that they expect you Ian to provide ongoing free content on their specific terms. Personally I love Carly and her contribution to the channel, not just on camera, is clearly huge. Love the addition of the Hubnut fam
Great video HubNut team, a fun q&a on the move! Plus a very insightful view on running your channel alongside a busy family life, which is one of the best I subscribe to. Wishing you all the best in taking a well-deserved holiday!
My Brother drove with a friend to Spain, from Kent to help "Run in" his new Citroen Visa 17D Leader in 1987. They effectively did it in a weekend and almost on one tank of diesel! It would be an interesting road trip! Certainly those long (Roman) French roads would suit Betty
I never understand why people complain when youtuber's lives evolve and their family situations change. Do we expect for them to be stuck in time forever? (Similarly, people complaining when a youtuber sells a car)
Noting the "Turbo on Chemmy" following the "Desmond hasn't got enough power", well, there's your next projoect, Turbo-Des! Goodness knows how to do all that given there'll need to be computery chippery doings needed as well as the actual turbo fitment, but, could be a fun one, assuming Desmond was to hang about for a bit longer... :P
I'd love to get Miss Hubnut in my Fiesta 1.4 Zetec mk6 for a test drive, I don't think it's the best car ever but I just want to say to her as she gets out of the car " See!! Really not that bad!". ( I do agree though, the wiper pattern isn't great.)
Not sure why anyone would complain about Miss Hubnut - but internet folks can be weird at times. Anyway keep up the good work, it's great to see both of you presenting.
Just this week picked up a 2012 panda 1.2 as my daughters first car, it's probably the perfect car for you, cheap and reliable and very fixable on the driveway... Cant think of anything better for a learner as it's square and had minimal gadgets 😊👍🇮🇪
My mother (a senior citizen) couldn't agree more. She loves her Panda 1.2. Bought it new in 2011: Rock-Solid-Run-About. And believe me: it's taken every kind of abuse: ultra short shopping trips (still 1e exhaust!), many contacts with unforeseen curbs, driving in the wrong gears, not washing it for months and parking under trees. Galvanized body: perfect car!
@@eggy1962 Interesting; the first time I heard this. I've owned a couple of Panda Mk.1's and a Seicento with the 1.1 and never had any mechanical problem: no oil consumption or clunky noises. I admit, I sold them off before 60K. The Fire-engine went on for ages; maybe the early ones were less good?

I love how hubnut has grown, and certainly don't have any issue with carly being on the channel! having met you both at fotu 2021. if idiots wanna hate about carly, then unsubscribe! not difficult is it....
Miss HubNut you could have driven any of my private cars as had an any driver policy with the only restriction was they had to be over 25 and a full clean licence. The taxi had one too but the driver needed a Hackney Carriage licence, no SD&P on the taxi as taxed as Hackney, cheaper tax and the CoF replaced the MOT so only the one test. If using it privately had to run the meter if wife or kids in it. Insurance companies were more helpful back then and insurance far cheaper.
With you on the Straight out the wiper for washing, one of the best features I like on the Cactus, guilty I Send you Train Wiper shots 🤣 Defo intrested in the class of 24 merch... Thank you for answering my question and hope you have a enjoyable time off. #teamhubnut
As a mk7 Fiesta owner of 6 years now, I couldn't recommend it as a first car. Very good but the clutch is tricky. No bite point at all (it was my first car, took a lot of getting used to)
Why would people comment bad things about Carly, she's a lovely lady, and it's clear to see she's brought so much positive to Ians life, which has to be a good thing, ignore the idiots
To all the keyboard warriors who are complaining about Carly being on the channel, f*# ......Go and play with traffic! The dynamics have improved and it means the content gets better as Ian isn't overly stretched and stressed.
Guys, could we get a video explaining a few options to economically insure a small fleet, say four, cars?, individual policies?, some sort of group plan?, broker?, business insurance?

I ❤LOVE ❤ that Miss Hub Nut has joined the channel! She has added so much and Ian definitely needs someone to keep him in line! 😂
Some excellent facial expressions in this video alone.
"SHE" should most definitely stay!😊

Miss Hubnut and the hublets are a great addition to the channel. For the love of god don't get rid of them from the channel. Great content.

Miss Hubnut should definitely stay enjoying the short videos especially the clean up ones and more Miss Hubnut tinkering and rust prevention

Sod the moaning misogynists, Carly is excellent and she adds greatly to the channel.
I like Miss Hubnut. That guy with the beard on the other hand... ;-)
Can't stand him. 😉
I can’t believe that people are so rude and disrespectful to Miss Hubnut. I like both the hippie Hubnut and the current ones

I had a Suzuki Wagon R+ and yes they do have a plastic drop in basket/bucket also a draw under the driver seat.

Do check out the Hasty "Recommissioning" of "6D Diesels" Peugeot. When you can. It does deserve a full restore one day
6ddiesels is a brilliant channel. The FOTE adventure in the Peugeot 305 estate is special.
I think Miss Hubnut is a wonderful addition to the channel.
I could just see her in an A30/A35. Her and Steph in her Minor would go well together.
Best of luck with future content 👍👍
