A bit of Hubnut wholesomeness is just what the doctor ordered. Please never, ever, stop or change. You're a burst of automotive goodness and joy, thank you for it!
Thank you Ian and Carly not just for the coverage but also the work put into the event, and thanks to those who took part. Too many favourite vehicles to mention, I'd have loved to have been up there but it's a bit of a stretch from down here. 👍
Just received 2 notifications for this video! One to tell me that it Premieres at 6pm, the other to say that I've been mentioned in the video description! 😭❤️ Genuinely thank you! ❤️
Great walk around of a fab show- was proud to be a small part of it, mines the blue Espace 4, love the atmosphere, and good to meet you all, albeit briefly. Thanks to you all for getting it together, hopefully be at the next one!?
That was some event which you, all your family & friends should look back in many years time with much pleasure. When one sees so many vehicles that were common & now you can no longer remember the last time you saw one. So many happy memories. Thank you.
Oh, that whas so good! Over one hour of joy and interesting cars. And nice folks! My favourite this time: the blue Austin Allegro Estate. And all of the Citroëns, of course. Thanks for the live stream and see you pretty soon on your channel »»» Martin ♥♥♥
What an epic day out was pleased to be a part of it! Sunshine and the best walk through a supermarket carpark from yesteryear that’s bought back fond memories when automotive loveliness was in my opinion at its best
My little girl was so happy to see our car in your report :) she said Thankyou mr hubnut , from Maisey ( the little girl you had a chat with in the friendship tent ) 😊
Thank you to all involved for organising Rustival. I thought it was a great show: such an excellent variety of vehicles, and a really nice atmosphere. Already looking forward to the next one!
It's so enjoyable to see your sincere and infectious enthusiasm for these cars, humble though some of them might be. In fact, you show us that often their humble natures elevate their worthiness!
Great walk round of the slhow. Nice to see my 13/60 in the vid next to the Miksuoka Galue that had a lot of people.scratching their heads during the course of the day.
Thankyou so much for making this event happen. It was our first Rustival and absolutely loved it. It was great to meet you and chat to some of the creators and exhibitors. We were also treated to a very detailed history lesson from a man on the green almost new Metro. It looked like it had come straight form the production line, incredible! Looking forward to the many videos reporting on the day and looking forward to next year.
Great show report! Between yourselves, Steph and Matt, it has been almost like being there! Looking forward to the next one……after you have all had a really well deserved rest! ❤️
30 minutes in and I need a break too. So much goodness !! Having been abroad for 20 years, most of these were current before I left. Haven't need a car in my time away, so when I get back, if I buy one of these, I'll still be bang up to date with all that 20-30 year old tech 😅
Thank you for the shout out, and also for supplying the QR code on the day, it helped spirit me across the 1000 subscriber threshold. An amazing event, great weather, a perfectly well behaved Mondeo there and back, and monetisation as well. What more could you ask for
Ah Gisele, looking so good as well. Maybe one day you can take her out again and film it (with all the repairs complete of course) !! Great vlog for what looked like a great event, i hope it was a roaring success for all of you
Fantastic vídeo report of a fabulous event. Great to see you all and the top effort put into this event. I missed so many cars, but after watching these videos, the list of favourite cars is massive! Thank you very much for the shout out and hope to see you all again soon. Oh, and I still don’t know why the horn keeps beeping randomly when I turn the steering wheel 😅
Fantastic show, really enjoyed it. It’s the first time I’ve ever showed a car off. My car was one of two Picassos featured but the only C4 Picasso there. Thank you for putting on the event. Andrew
This was my first rustival and I bloody loved it! It's also really cool seeing my little van in your video 59:27 . I'm already looking forward to the next one. Thank you hubnut ❤
Car shows like this are such a good time, and your showcasing of them is infectiously enjoyable. I’ve been a Follower for very long time Ian, and I love what a beautiful family ‘event’ the channel has become over the journey. Well done, and continuing congratulations.
I was happily exhausted by this video so you must have been brain dead after that fast-response review Ian. Great video and looking forward to next year already.
Great watch Ian and your knowledge is encyclopedic. I'm just like you, anything after about 2010 is a struggle to exactly identify! Would love to come to a Rustival next year in our 208 GTi and Land Rover Lightweight.
@ 22.31 Trust me, if you can hit 70mph in a Talbot Express Camper it feels like Apollo 13 re-entering the earth's atmosphere. The lack of power steering really adds to the effect. The offer to test mine is still there, (once I have sorted the clutch). Great review folks. XxX
What a marvellous event! You guys set out to do so much for the classic car scene and have succeeded beyond all expectations. Massive thanks to Ian, Carly and Steph for putting this event together and sharing your videos. I can't wait to see what comes next.😎
It was a great idea to mix the cars together. Makes for a much more interesting variety, rather than having everything grouped together like most shows tend to do.
Fantastic roundup of the sheer variety of cars that is Rustival. As i said before...Hubnut! You are essential tea time viewing in our house. Please don't stop or change a thing. Oh, and you rock brown corduroy 🤣
I’m still soaking up all the videos of the day, it was fantastic. Looking forward to the next one. Can’t decide if I should bring the Belmont again, or my Tigra A 😊
Such a broad church of cars means only one thing is you and your fellow RUclips'ers appeal to everyone. Nice to see you mention Smith & Sniff as you got a shout out in this weeks podcast about TWC
What an epic tour of the event. Your knowledge is unmatched and always informative, thanks for taking note of our JDM Hnd Stpwgn! And Pokémon.... Maybe next time leas is more
Thanks for covering the Scimitars briefly (they do rust underneath, trust me!), I know they're not your favourite of cars but I try and keep Tom Karen's legacy alive best I can as he inspired me as a kid. We left the show feeling it had a much nicer atmosphere than other shows this season. We had hoped to come in a Bond Equip GT4s but it needed a little too much TLC to make it. We'll be back next year if you run it again.
I'll always have a soft spot for Scimitars, just didn't get on with my SE5a. Probably because I'm not really a sports car person... (Too boring and soft!)
@@HubNut My earliest memory is being asked to get a bolt out (at age 4) from the orange car as I could fit my hand in the gap, been in love with them ever since. As a young lad of 7 or 8 I had the pleasure of having dinner a few times with the designer. Tom Karen's first love was always toys, I remember more than once he'd upset the car enthusiasts by spending his time creating toys out of the styrofoam cups, cocktail sticks, napkins etc rather than answering their questions. If you get a chance I recommend reading his book Toy Maker, which released shortly before he passed away. The GT4s wasn't designed by Tom, but my brother purchased it and has lost interest in recent years, so I'm trying to get it out and about again as it's in a bit of a sorry state.
Fantastic show with a dizzying variety of cars, and it's good to see so many other content creators out as well. I must say Giselle has cleaned up nicely.
A very enjoyable show report Ian, very glad to have been at Rustival2, looking forward to Rustival 3 whenever that will be. Car of the show for me in this report has to the white Skoda Super Estelle.

Great show Ian and Guys, The green Skoda 30seconds from the end of the video I passed that on the M5 in Devon and it got to the show before me, oh and when you said "for sale 800 pounds" and then walked to the grey mini pickup, that pick up had a belt driven blower on it that looked factory converted (that's why the bonnet was open?) it's worth a look at ! anyway I got my mug shot into your video more times than Ben and cant wait for the Tasty video on Friday, Thanks Ian and the team !!XXX
I had a great day! Hopefully I’ll be able to walk around the next one. Thanks to my 2 eldest daughters and their partners/friends for taking me to the show. It was nice to meet some of my favourite RUclipsrs.
