How many times do parents have to be told not to leave their kids in the car?
Dude I’m saying. There is NO ERRAND MORE IMPORTANT THAN YOUR CHILD
@@breezymamaIt’s pure laziness. Dad better get his priorities together. I was pregnant and had a toddler and NEVER wouldve thought to leave her in the car. My husband wouldve never done this. I hope that man assuredly knows he is a fool and is thanking his lucky stars.
Exactly!!
They should be charged with negligence and child endangerment
@@evp911there actually has been a couple stories on this channel where there parents were charged....
Hearing that little fella crying for his daddy made me cry so hard. Oh my heart. I hope Daddy learned an important lesson. Thank God that little one is ok. 🙏🏻

54 years and still stealing cars like a common criminal. Let's face it, hes way past any form of rehabilitation.
Yeah, when you are at rhe stage of life where you need reading glasses and you are still stealing cars there is no hope.
I also think he is a junkie, that's why he was nodding off in the back of the cop car.
Right!
His fly was down. Unless that’s some new form of patdown I don’t think he was after the car.
As a father of a 3 year old hearing that childs calling for his daddy made me cry. I could not imagine my son going through that
Good parents cant, which is why they value their children enough to not leave them at risk
He is sobbing that poor little fella. And make me cry😢
Dad should be awarded with worst dad in the world.
All thanks to daddy

😢Damn that little guy crying for his dad. I’m from Akron and I have to say all these officers should be given a medal for the quick response to find that child. My hats off to ya APD.

He was so concerned about his daddy. He had no clue where he was. He wasn’t even concerned for himself, just for his daddy. Bless that tiny little heart. I know that daddy didn’t ever think this would happen to them… but that’s when it always happens, yall.
Poor kids gonna be traumatized. I remember thinking my mom would never come back when she left. This boy is terrified for his father.
Kid will remember this... worst dad ever... or only dad he got.
He was concerned for himself. Which is why he was calling for his dad. What are you talking about?
for a 2 year old, mom, dad, and immediate family members are their whole world, I would be very surprised to see a 2 year old not wanting mommy or daddy in this situation, as someone with 10 years in childcare
That poor little feller. Dad was pretty important at that early in life. Broke this old man's heart.
Child's crying begging for his Daddy heartbreaking!! Great job by police.❤
The father was lucky that day. Him calling out for his dad. Got me In Tears
Was I the only one screaming, “tell him his daddy is coming! Tell him where daddy is and that he is coming!!!” The poor baby needed that reassurance.
Yeah, Officer Awkward.
He did say “we’re going to get you your daddy”.
Right?! the poor baby said it so many times :(
Tell him his Daddy IS COMING!!!
Yes!!!!!!🎉

Ikr??? 🫤
How long did it take for him to say that??? I literally wanted to jump into the screen and say that “Daddy’s coming!” He settled right down after some reassurance, not flashlights, books and pretzels!!
@@kathrynbillinghurst188he officer definitely has no experience with kids. He only tried to distract the child and the little boy only wanted his Daddy. Thank God it all ended well, I was so relieved!

That little fellow loves his daddy so much! I'm so grateful that they saved him
If only daddy loved him enough to not do this to him
That sweet little baby crying for his daddy... It broke me. Bless thise heroes!
I don't have kids, but leaving your kid in the car with it running and leaving it unlocked is kind of crazy.
Especially a kid who isnt old enough to let themselves out!! I understand it with a kid 9+, but 3??? Absolutely not!
A guy has a rifle pointed at him and he acts like it is a normal Tuesday.
I thought the same thing
I just replied the same.. the cops is all "stop!!" And the perp walking away turns like "oh who, me?"
If you're talking about the first guy to come out of the business--that wasn't the kidnapper---& what would you have him do with the rifle pointed at him? Sing, dance, grab the rifle, call for his mommy? Like in one of your games?
@@muddyhotdog4103”the Perp” was literally just a guy at a local business that the police held at gunpoint and grabbed. He was not the kidnapper and I’m sure he does not appreciate being labeled as such
Well usually cops don’t shoot you unless you act extremely nervous
Oh my heart!! I have a 2 year old boy his little voice 😔😔😔
When will people stop leaving their babies in the car running?
Not until it's an automatic felony with 15k fine....but that probably still wouldn't do it.
When will judges quit releasing criminals
When will criminals quit breaking the law....

If the police man had told the little boy at the beginning: 'your daddy's on his way, wanna wait with me for him to get here?'
He probably would have felt relief and settled.
That deputy was so sweet with him ❤
Yess excellent 🎉 I just said same thing. Police need better training on how to deal w trauma and the situation at hand.
And once he finally told him the boy said... okay
They wont show that part in the video, police are always shown as evil racists, its the agenda.
My thoughts exactly!
They may not have known if the Dad was going to be arrested for endangerment and didn’t want to lie to him until they knew for sure.
Kidnapper turned the music up to drown out the child's crying
Happy the child was safe and home🙏
That boy loves his daddy 💓💓💓💓💓
Oh gosh you're right
That’s so heartbreaking listening to him cry for his daddy.
When the baby said OK to the police officer through his sobs is heart breaking
♥️ nothing would do except for having his daddy. 😢
I bet that dad is going to get a talking to from his wife / the mother !!! And I bet he is so thankful and relieved !!!
Yeah, I'll bet he will be spending a few nights out on the couch.
I was thinking the same thing. I hope he's not too proud to admit he had a lapse in judgment...😢
I think it will be more than a talk to!!! He might need the emergency room when she done with the conversation!!!
I think this dude has suffered and will continue to suffer enough. I would never forgive myself if that was my kid, not that I would ever leave them in a running vehicle with the doors unlocked. He won't do that again. As a dad your only real purpose is to see that kid become an adult. The guilt you would feel at failing to keep your son safe would be the worst punishment. No sense kicking the crap out of guy who is already down and will probably need therapy after this. You never know, maybe the wife has done the same thing, maybe more than once and just never had anyone jump in the car and take off. They got very unlucky, then very lucky in the same teachable moment....
Sadly, you never know. If RUclips has taught me anything it is that not every mother has a motherly instinct.
Never ever leave your kid in the car. Deal with it and them waking up cranky.
that's common sense, you either got it or you don't
OMG that poor little guy. This honestly broke my heart. 😭
Just tell the kid his daddy is coming.
He did
He finally said after 1 hour
O’ the little guy crying for his dad, in his sweet little voice, with the police awkwardly trying to comfort him, made me emotional 🥹
I am very poor and spend a lot of time on the street. I am consistently amazed how iresponsible some people behave with thier expensive assets. Leaving a $40,000 dollar truck unlocked and running just seems insane to me.
Not to mention the child inside
Yeah. It's ridiculous!!!
Broke my heart hearing the little boy crying for his daddy so happy he wasn't harmd 🙏💙🙏💙🙏💙🙏
That little boy talks really well for his age. Actually amazing.
This could have been avoided all together if the parent had shut the truck off and taken the child with him in the store. Careless, parent.
Least take the keys and lock the damn door smh
Poor little guy!! The number of times we've all seen some mom or dad leave their kids in their car while they run into the gas station or store "real quick" ticks me off! Stop doing that!
That officer caring for the kid and finding him snacks in the diaper bag and books was the most heartwarming thing ever. Sweet baby boy poor little peanut
Oh man, his father is going to be crushed hearing this. Thank god he’s okay, this could have been a deadly mistake.
Oh my goodness hearing him cry just broke me. 😢 Poor little baby. Don’t leave your children or pets in the car alone, not even for a split second.
Oh my gosh!! Well done to all the officers involved 👏 hope the little one is OK 🙏
Awe that pulled at my heart strings to hear that baby constantly saying "my daddy".😞 He wanted his daddy, and was probably trying to communicate with the officer trying to say that his daddy was gone, but didn't know how to do so. I wanted to see a clip of the baby reuniting with his parents.
Oh my heart! 😢 his cries are making me cry. 😢
This was heartbreaking poor little guy. That dad learned a valuable lesson.
That officer did an amazing job taking care of the baby, it brought comfort to see the baby unharmed. This ended well for the baby, but kudos to the officer for keeping the baby as calm as possible❤ very commendable 👏🏼
Poor little man. I have a 2.5 year old and this just breaks my heart. 😢
It really broke my heart hearing the little boy continuously crying, asking for his Daddy.
I am crying so hard as he was crying for his daddy. To wake up and no daddy around is horrible feeling. Glad the creep didn’t hurt the child I bet he was shocked to see a kid in the truck. Please parents don’t even leave anything with a heart beat in a car ect when you r out and about . It’s not worth it. Please show this to the parents of this little boy. He was so scared.
Little man crying for his dad over and over again, i want to hold him and tell him we are going to mommy and daddy ... Just to reassure him. What a sweet boy. Tha ks officers.
This is a very traumatic thing for the child and the dad. There is nothing that needs to be said to this dad that he doesn't already know.
Oh I think this "dad" can't possibly hear enough. If I was the mom, divorce & full custody to me---I'd never trust Daddy Dum-Dum again with ANYTHING.
@@vintagelady1 OH, he will face his day in court.
I so like to see the sweet little boy re united with his daddy
Father of the year 🎉
Sad to hear him cry for his daddy broke my heart to hear him crying poor baby. That’s something we as parents don’t want our kids to go thru something like it happened to this little man. ❤
I never left any of my children in a car for any reason, if I had to pay for gas or something that required me to be away from my vehicle for any length of time they came with me, I couldn’t imagine something like that happening to one of my children.
This baby hurt my heart 😢
The kids father should get a few minutes alone in a room with the kidnapper!..
The cops should have a few minutes in a room with the FATHER. With the body cams off....I bet he would never do it again.
This thief wasn't after the kid, he was after the truck that was running with its door open that the mentally ill father left available for him, in case you did not catch on to that, ya more-on, so I will do you a favour and correct what you really meant to say. The father should spend a few months in an isolated cell by himself in prison! That is what you meant, right?
@@realemonful Let me guess, it’s the woman’s fault who walks alone what happens to her right? Got a love the blame the victim attitude.
Wow... so it's totally legal for a person to just get into any running vehicle and take off without consent ok nice to know!
Not saying it's smart to leave your kid in an unlocked running vehicle! I have 5 young children myself i would never do that. But the guy that took that truck is the real problem!
The father and the thief need to learn lessons. Great job by cops.
Why do people leave the engine running ?
Because there was a child in the back seat... looks like it was cold so the father probably left the truck running with the heat on while he went inside the store
Awe his little cries. Melt my heart. So, glad he’s okay.
Please don’t leave your kids in the car. The hassle is worth it, rather than this happening.
Speaking from experience I can't say how emotional it is for those officers to have safely recovered this child. The interaction between the officer and the child is priceless and it is a moment in his career he will never forget.
I will never understand the lazy thoughtlessness of leaving a child in the car. Im blind so cant drive and my family far away. When my 3 kids were little, i had to bring them and their car seats and my youngest ones heart monitor and feeding pump everywhere by myself. Bus or taxi. Where I lived, i had to walk half a mile to the bus and to get to their doctor almost a mile once getting off the bus. Im sorry i have zero compassion for parents who cant take their kid into the store bc they're asleep and its too much effort. That little boy could've been killed or trafficked. These "parents" need charges for this every single time. Zero tolerance approach.
Poor baby! He's traumatized. 😥
Poor baby boy…he’s so sweet asking for his daddy. The police officer who found him and took care of him until paramedics arrived is a sweetheart, so glad he was okay and not harmed✨🤍🙏🏼
That poor little guy is so scared. I’m grateful that officers is there with him.
People need to start being charged for leavinf kids unattended in cars. Zero tolerance! Glad the little boy is ok.
Oh my goodness. This baby boy broke my heart. He wants his daddy. 😢❤
That poor little guy just repeating "my daddy, my daddy" 💔
As a father myself, I really felt that 😢

I am traumatized from this video. That poor baby
The irony of the child crying for the parent that failed to protect him is too sad.
Wish the policeman would tell him daddy’s coming every time that poor baby asked for him 💔🤦♀️🙏🏼🇬🇧
So heartbreaking hearing the poor boy cry for his daddy. I’m so glad that cop found him in the truck.
Lil man was breaking my heart 😢. Thank the good lord things worked out like it did.
Oh man, I can't imagine what went through dad's head when he saw the truck gone! Poor little guy was trying so hard to talk through his crying 😢😢😢
All the LEO has to say is his daddy is on the way. The cop wasn't taking social cues at all.
How could he if he knew the child would have to first be checked out medically before returned to his daddy.? That would by lying to the child as the child would EXPECT to see dad walk up sooner rather than later. Two year olds don’t have a grasp of time so he would expect his dad to be there within a few minutes if the cop had said that. What if that couldn’t reasonably happen? Then you upset the child AGAIN, as if he hadn’t already been through enough. The cop was right to not lie and set unreasonable expectations. Think it through (smh)🙄
@@Shucking_The_Jiveseconding this perspective- it’s more damaging to lie to the child when the situation is still uncertain.
@Shucking_The_Jive You're overthinking it. It's called, comforting the child. You are obviously not a parent.
@Shucking_The_Jive I'm a Pediatric RN, the child will never be withheld from a parent in this situation. Stop trying to be a mindreader. You don't know what others are thinking.
@BumbletheBea You might want to catch up with the conversation. It's not going too well for your perspective.
The stupidity of some parents. Neglect charges due.
Why, Karen? Do you seriously think he didn't learn a lesson here?
Do you understand the philosophical purpose behind punishment in the criminal law?
Do you think making him pay money to the government in the form of a fine, which is what he'd get, would make him LESS likely to do this again, after the terror this incident no doubt created?
I also take it that you are not a parent and were not a child in the 1980s or earlier, lol
@@-MattMcCauley-Bla bla blah. Nothing you just said justifies the negligence of leaving your child in a running car while you buy stuff.
@@Veegs. Your reading comprehension skills are sub-par. Nowhere did I say it was justified, that is just a nonsensical strawman on your part.
So let me guess you think that whatever happens to a woman when she’s walking alone is her fault, right?
@@-MattMcCauley- Your comment was pointless. “Durr he already did the thing so why would have to pay a fine?” Lmao bc that’s what happens when you are convicted of something. What, are you suggesting we eliminate the judicial system completely? Someone screws up, but because it was in the past it’s okay i’m sure they learned! Doesn’t matter if it’s a deterrent to that specific individual or not, you do something wrong you pay for it that’s how it works.
That officer consoling the little boy is the embodiment of compassion and service.
Really? He asked him if he wanted a flashlight, water, pretzels, dragged him out of the car, & FINALLY thought to reassure him dad was coming. I'm sure he meant well, but no skills w/ kids.

As much as it hurts, I believe this father needs to be charged with child endangerment.
At a minimum he needs parenting classes and to watch this footage. If a parent truly doesn’t know not to leave their baby in the car they have no business having their child unsupervised.
Oh my heart! I just wanted to reach through the screen and hug him.
Hearing that sweet boy cry made me so sad for him
