    Abandoning a baby at the door of an orphanage or family member or police station is acceptable. Abandoning a baby on a ROAD IS EVIL.

      How is abandoning a child anywhere acceptable? How is it okay for women to abandon their children but if a man misses a child support payment he gets sent to jail?

    • @cyberbudd
      @cyberbudd 2 месяца назад

      It is acceptable if the parent is doing it for the best interest of the child. Bringing them to an orphanage or other safe place. Where did you even come up with the idea that they meant if someone misses a child support payment they drop their kid off? You can't legally hand over a kid that I believe is over 30 days old. At that point its abandonment. @@jvillain9946

    My birth mother did the same thing to me when I was a baby. Just left me to die shortly after I was born. She was found but she was aggressive and admitted to wanting to kill me . I was found and taken to an orphange and stayed there for a few years until I was adopted by the BEST parents ever!!!!! I have been to 26 different countries and I speak Bulgarian, Dutch, Portuguese and English fluently. My country is Bulgaria, and for my graduation gift, I went back to Bulgaria with my family and visited my old orphange and was around my fellow Bulgarians. I have trauma and was diagnosed with Schizophrenia. But there is a happy ending for some kids.

    There’s no excuse for the baby in a plastic bag when any hospital, fire/police station, and many homeless shelters are safe havens.
    The sinking cars are terrifying. Drowning is probably my worst fear, so hearing a child is trapped in a sinking car is so indescribably scary. “Hey take your boots off. We’re doing this.” That’s a man who just does what needs to be done.

    Some of these clips also highlight how important it is to remain calm when dealing with medical emergencies with children. Calm, but decisive. Take immediate action. It's your worst nightmare, but panic will make the situation worse. Saving a child from choking, for example, may look horrific, but that officer was calm and saved that kid's life. His frantic parents weren't thinking clearly.

    • @ericaallisonc
      @ericaallisonc Месяц назад

      You forget that deep down humans are just animals. Panic creates a fight or flight response, "being calm" isn't programmed into us and is often something that has to be worked on/trained or is something a very small percentage are born with: often lacking that "fight or flight" response (usually a mental disorder). The only "naturally born calm" people I have met have all been neurodivergent.

    Now we're talking. I wish the public could see more of these stories about officers. They are definitely underappreciated.
    There's just something about seeing this tough guys being so gentle and caring to children. These were heartwarming. Well done, officers.

    When my son was about 6 years old, we were coming out of a restaurant and a police car slowed down near us in the parking lot. He asked my son for his first name and said he had heard about a wanted criminal matching his description. You should have seen my son's face. The cop laughed and said "No, actually, I need small hands to push something" and when my son went to the car, the cop let him turn the lights on and off and even let him play with the siren for 3 seconds. He was so sweet

    In the one where the parents were in the car waving their arms out the window for help and the officer took the baby, they were yelling "don't take him don't take him" and trying to take him back and the cop had to tell them twice to stop. I wonder what on earth their back story was that they would think the cop was just going to take their baby and leave.

    How do cops, or anyone else, NOT carry glass breakers!?
    I have one on the pocket knife that I carry on the side of my boot. Blunt force generally won't work on car windows because they're designed to absorb the impact, that's why you NEED a tool designed to break glass.
