‘F**k You B*tch’: Cops Handcuff 9-Year-Old Throwing Tantrum at Florida Elementary School

- Bodycam footage shows the moments Florida police handcuffed a 9-year-old at Stenstrom Elementary School in February. Oviedo police detained the fourth-grade student for 13 minutes after he wouldn’t stop throwing an aggressive tantrum in the school’s mail room. The child’s family is now suing the city and the school resource officers involved in handcuffing their son. The Law&Crime Network’s Elizabeth Millner breaks it down.

They won't win
This child is 9 years old. He’s in elementary school. As a middle school teacher, I DREAD to think how this child will behave when he gets older-middle school, high school.
I know what it will look like. I've worked both in a rehabilitation center for children and a maximum security prison for adults who sometimes had underage teens because their behavior was so abominable. The fact that they have made disciplining them a crime is the entire reason for this. These kids are entitled, self-centered, spoiled brats. They have never had boundaries or consequences imposed on them. I don't understand how people cannot see that allowing these behaviors to continue just allows them to multiply. Parents are supposed to raise their children and teach them right from wrong. They don't just wake up at the age of 18 and become responsible, well-adjusted adults. It's sad really. Such a waste of a life and a disservice to children. They are being set up for a lifetime of misery and unhappiness. I'd rather see a nine-year-old handcuffed and learn his lesson than a 17 or 18-year-old doing 20 to life. These are the kind of kids that turn around and kill their parents.

@@smorris281not only that,he’ll just turn into Michael from gta 5.
Kids who get away with behavior like this are prime candidates for prison one day.
That's where he's headed if they don't get him some help.

This a 9 year old who is ill. He needs better help mainly an adult who will listen. I genuinely feel bad for everyone here because it’s a tough situation.
No s hit
His “parents” don’t gaf about him. So sad. 💔
Yay for the police. No child should be able to get away with that language and violence.
If your child disrespects women, teachers, and police offers in this manner at such a young age.. and you blame THEM, YOU are the problem. Now, because of them, the child feels like his behavior is even more justified and validated. This is truly sickening.
Wish I could like this comment more than once.
The fact that the people around him are not even trying to grab him, let alone physically punish him, shows how impotent our parenting/schooling has become where you can't even touch a kid if he misbehaves.
@@jesuismilliardaire43 Thank God you are not a judge or a police officer.
The parents probably just have dollar signs in their eyes.
theres no way they could as they would get sued! which is proven by the fact that the cops cuff him and leave them on for 10mins odd which gets the kid to calm down and then the parents sue....@@TheKomentor
I think the Police Officers handled the situation appropriately and professionally
Same here
Why aren't simply expelled from school when they act like this?
If I had acted like that while at school my parents would've killed me and also taken me to talk to a psychiatrist because this behavior is NOT normal.
Kid could be the star for a condom commercial. 🤣
Where did the child learn that behaviour and language?
I have a friend who works in a school for challenging children. Staff and other kids are regualrly hurt and she has been hospitalised by a 9 year old, throwing a plastic chair in her face. Most people have no idea how difficult it is to handle children who have behavioural problems and anger managment issues.
The parents need to be investigated.
For what, a low IQ?
Jesus Christ is the Living God he is Real 💯and he healed me he wants us all to live Forever and Ever with him in Heaven but we cannot let our sin separate us from his Perfect love 🙏❤
@@achmed2pac But we don't know this for sure do we? The bible can't ever be verified as truth because of the time period it was written. People back then didn't have the knowledge we have now and couldn't understand how the world worked. And anyway there are much older beliefs that came way before Christianity took over, it seems to me all religion is man made and people easily get manipulated by it because they are afraid of death. Religion is just a belief not truth.
@@achmed2pac I am God and no, I dont want any of that
Absolutely my thought, his behavior is a reason for alarm, if my kid acted like that he be going to the D home!
They said a 9 year old child shouldn't be hand cuffed, well a 9 year old child shouldn't act like a wild animal. He will grow up and treat everyone just like this. Smh
Ik bro, he acts like some wild animal that got stuck. The cops clearly explain to him what’s going on and he just thrashes around like his brain is too rotted to respond or move. This kids parents need to discipline their kid more.
A 9yr shouldnt be cuffed. CPS needs to investiagte his home. Something is going on at home.
exactly
Where was the outrage when same stuff happened in 2010 and 2012 to teach a lesson?
No he won’t. Most children don’t grow up to act as they did as a child. They mature it just might take a while.
They don’t have the right to handcuff him
Coz he is a minor and they shouldn’t taking a video of him
They should’ve taking him out in a separate room and investigate why the child is doing this ?
He might have a psychological issue or someone did something bad to him “abuse ….etc..”
Parents should be put in jail.
As the mom of a 9 year old, this is incredibly heartbreaking to see. This is not normal behavior at all. This boy is hurting deeply. He’s obviously going through something at home. His parents need to be investigated by cps.
I agree. The child is acting out because somewhere down the line, the people who are supposed to help him have failed him.
N this is exactly why these little brats behave like this. No accountability whatsoever cz no matter how bad their behaviour there’s always some do-gooder like you right there with an excuse about why it’s not the child’s fault. There must be some deep underlying trauma that he needs to work through. Couldn’t possibly be down to the fact that he’s naughty could it?
@@Devils-advocate78 do you have kids?

You people are the problem.
Why handcuff the thing for throwing a tantrum when some kids throw multiple a day, and I don't see them getting handcuffed. Why not just expell it if it did something really bad, or leave it in the room alone?
I couldn't imagine acting like that at nine years old. My dad would give me a good spsking. The profanity from the child is horrendous. I wonder what's going on in the child's home life.
This is the EXACT reason why I quit teaching. Teachers don’t get paid enough to deal with crap like this. And then the parents have the AUDACITY to sue? Disgusting. Couldn’t be me. Good luck finding decent teachers in years to come.
Exactly
I don’t blame you. I feel terrible for teachers and have always had so much respect for them. Even as a kid. But also, my parents instilled that respect in me. Parents don’t do that anymore hardly. You deserve all the respect for even attempting to teach
@@Viewpoint11clueless! This is fully the parent’s fault. I’d love to see you control a classroom these days.
@@Viewpoint11 no what you should be doing is blaming the parents for not setting correct boundaries for their children. That or you’re just being a pathetic troll either way.
@@Viewpoint11why don’t you try controlling a classroom full of wannabe degenerates? Not as easy as you think it is 😂
Children who act like this shouldn’t be in school. It’s not the teachers job to teach children manners, respect & good behaviour it’s the parents responsibility. I would be ashamed if my child acted this way. Also I’d have no problem with the way these officers handled this situation
I would of been fine with the police doing that to my child if they acted like that....I made my daughter go back to the school to do her after school detention and the principle couldn't believe I did that....most parents are afraid of their children
Kid has mental problems. It is not a teaching issue.
I wouldn't have stopped there... I'd have brought out the leg restraints...
It is both the parents and teachers to teach and to be disciplined. That is how you get soy kids to grow up and be responsible. Even in workplace environment they have policies for adults and if you screw up, you are written up or fired.
Kids like that are very rare
There is obviously issues at home that need to be addressed
Suing the police? At that age I would have been a heck of a lot more worried what my parents were going to do to me when they found out! Instead of throwing their money away on a frivolous law suit they need to enroll the child in an anger management class.
The parents suing the police officers and the school is definitely a perfect example of human beings being willing to do anything to get money!
including having a child.
oh yeah they where like oh YEAH!!!! $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ nothing about how there kid is acting like a cyco there is videos of 10 year old jacking cars so F yeah put the cuffs on
@@Bgarza05Some people are even willing to profit from their childs death, just sick.

They'll lose that lawsuit with this footage
The fact that the kid is just speaking and acting like that shows how his parents are raising him
plus they are suing over the incident as well
Yes it does. They aren’t raising him with respect, values, or consequences. Poor parenting = prison inmates.
That’s what happens when parents don’t do their job. Teach your child to be a respectful person, and this won’t happen.
Do you want him to get kicked out of school for the rest of his life!?
The parents should be held accountable for the way their child behaves. This behavior problem starts from home. A child learns from the example he sees.
He clearly said the teachers were the problem and I believe him ! No one ever listens to the students. They always side with the teachers
@@lelelove2682 bruh no nine year old acts like that swearing like that unless something is going on at home
Not necessarily. While some behaviour is learned, there's other behaviour that isn't. For example, if the child is neurodivergent. This seems way too extreme to be a temper tantrum.
@@TiffWafflesI haven't heard the word "neurodivergent" before...what is meant by this word?
The legality of pursuing guilt on parents for this seems unlikely. Where exactly do you draw the line between a good/bad parent
