I was a passenger in an Air Canada DC-8 in 1979. The plane was nicknamed, "Waltzing Matilda" by people who worked for Air Canada at the time. If I remember correctly, there was another DC-8 in AC's inventory nicknamed, "Disco Duck." Does anyone remember these airplanes?

It is my second favorite Air Canada livery after the blue one
Thx.

At 0:48 you mention that the name was changed to Air Canada and new livery introduced in 1965, but the photo shows a DC-8-63 which wasn't introduced until 1969, and it's in the later livery introduced in 1977, not the original livery from 1965. Also, you mention at 3:07 that passenger DC-8 operations ended in 1983, but the photo used for the 1984 slide at 3:19 is a passenger DC-8-61, not a freighter.
He was just showing how the livery looked not the year the photo was taken
What’s with the music … seriously , get that off
Spoilt by that awful noise
