A lot of equipment will be hitting the market soon. I feel sorry for those people that paid 60 and 70 thousand dollars for 10-year-old dry vans. Not to mention those that paid 80 grand for a 6-year-old truck with 700,000 miles. The whole world is off its rocker.
Your advice is invaluable! Thank you so much for taking time from your hectic schedule to educate us!
You're my favorite trucking guru! Thank-you for everything the information is invaluable! Iv been using you're videos as a guide to start my lil box truck business :)
Thanks for making it not so scary and giving us some hope ! Stay positive and god bless
Best advice I've heard. Thank you once again.💪💪
Thank you for sharing!!!
Hope for the best...
I am a new owner operator and just started three months ago so I know I’m new but this is also just my opinion. I also think a contributing factor is the number of drivers. We heard for months that there was a driver shortage but now I feel like there is a surge of new drivers who have been promised six figures a year from larger trucking companies starting off so a lot of people have jumped into this. Now, the market is slowing down, there are a ton of new drivers, and these larger companies are taking any load that they can to keep their drivers busy and revenue coming in. It’s making it harder for smaller trucking companies and owner operators to get loads because they are being bid down by large companies. I’ve also heard that produce season won’t be that good this year also creating a big wrinkle in the market. On top of that with gas prices being so high it’s making it even more difficult. It’s going to be a rough summer but I’m hoping that things will pick up this fall.
Thanks for tips ✌️☝️☺️
I drive part time and dispatch I'm in Iowa and we use mudflap for our fuel discount it's free and you can still use ur rewards when fueling
Great advice!
Great vid! Possible to move your mic closer tho, it's really low :l
Great job on the videos. Question?
Do you have information that would be pertinent for CDL holders that you can provide who are looking to start into the Hot Shot Hauling business?
ie: Like your MC and Dot #’s, insurance, leasing options etc.
I know their will be similarities between the Semi Truck, tractor trailer O/O, but may not require the entire laundry list of requirements like you have already addressed in your prior videos. And if you have not made any Hot Shot videos, could you Please direct me to the appropriate resources or other professional videos that you would recommend. Thank you.
your advice is always solid.and on top of that your a little nuts in a good way very entertaining !!
You’re right what I’m doing now I’m running short loads within the state that pays 500$ for 50 miles instead of running 200 miles for 900$ that good tips for our brothers out there.
Only if you have your truck...drivers want 70c a mile and fuel is 80c a mile :) everyone want paycheck :)
It's very hard time for truck owner, fuel is go higher and more higher, and load prices less than last year, save nothing spending alot
so if you call a tow truck for your semi, it's about 400 hookup fee, and 4 dollars a mile. so, that's what i charge brokers for loads , 400 to hit the dock and 4 a mile minimal..
Yeah in a perfect world. But it’s trucking an everyone has their hands in the cookie jar. I hope your still getting 4+ a miles
@@chrissuggs8521 it depends on the shipper and product, commercial refrigerator displays and things like comm blinds, pay pretty well.
Awesome
Im an investor and your channel came up because I was searching for info in transportation sector. transportation is a leading indicator to forecast stock market- so if your forecast is right, markets will be lower in the summer or by fall time.
Can you PLEASE post a weekly update? 😁
Haha I can’t promise weekly but I will be updating yes
@@TruckingMadeSuccessful Haha. Corporate Research would pay you very handsomely, $500k + big bonus, for your research on trucking.
The economy depends very much on transportation- so the condition of trucking companies will be the leading indicator to foresee the next big market move.
Are there websites or state reports we can look at to see the status of trucking companies?
Really, all you have to do is follow the Dow Jones Transportation Index.
😍😍😍
I need a lady like her to marry. Very smart cookie lady🤙😉
I am old school, I bought a old rig, fix myself, engine solid, make money and hopefully gas goes down (but it won't for a while,🤨....
Guys be smart, do your homework, and is ok to say Nooo to cheap rates...
Companies need our 18 wheels to move their profits supplies, so be compassion not soft to make money
Yes, if you are in a position to say "NO" to cheap rates, then it's a whole different ball of wax. I paid for my truck cash along with the whole year's insurance premium. It's a great feeling when you don't have to stress it. Also, I do agree with you that Miranda is definitely marriage material!😍
1200 mile trips paying 3k min, stay in a certain corridor with minimal deadhead to other loads your ok
That is really cheap...
@@strahinjaboskovic305 minimum bro
@@dronetrucker you driving flat bad? People dont want to drive that...
How much you get going back? Again 3000?
Reefer and dry van dead...like no loads at all and brokers pay bad coz they can
Market is destroyed and fuel is up like everything else
@@strahinjaboskovic305 Yes flat bed, I deadhead before I haul cheap loads
@@dronetrucker last 2 years dri van loads were pay more then flat bad...it is allways different.reefer is the most stable with rates. Everything have + and -
I used to know few people who lost their life on that thing...bad shit just happen from nowhere...
Take care and be safe bro
problem: government regulations and interference
When do you believe a market correction will happen?
Great question, but at this point I am not sure. With this rate, there will be many smaller carriers filing for bankruptcy and it will hit the shippers\brokers hard by end of year
How do I reach out to you in order for you to complete my start up paperwork I was watching your other video and I saw that you charging a fee of 200 can you please help me get started

Is it. Good idea to start into trucking? Any thoughts
I recommend to wait until the economy gets better, right now comercial insurance is to expensive along with everything is related with the Truck industry.
Good luck
It is if you don't overpay for equipment like everyone else did. Also, don't over-leverage yourself. It's a WHOLE different ball game when you are facing $4000+ in just truck and insurance payment. The pressure to run and take crap loads is constantly weighing on you.
The produce increase in the summer will not raise or stabilize the rates. We are getting ready to see record low freight rates this summer. We will see trucks for $5000 again because there won't be enough freight to go around. Stack your cash used equipment is about to go on clearance. I respect your opinion but I think your prediction is short sided. Carriers will hang on as long as they can and it will be a gradual decline in rates for many many months if not a year or 2.
Interesting analysis. With all due respect, I really hope you are mistaken 😂. But we will see!
@@TruckingMadeSuccessful i do too i promise. We have to really think "If it was that easy then everybody would do it". The market is flooded with trucks and everyone has been making lots of money...thats not normal. I really wish we could all make $5 a mile every time we take a load.
The only parties that will benefit from all this are the megas and the smaller companies that have minimal debt and leverage. Cash will be king soon.
@@ICYPROFITS I found you again. You really want to see people collapse don’t you?
@@teamdada2194 im a realist. I dont want to see anyone fail. Freight market is cyclical and all signs show bad news ahead
Or they don’t have money to spend sitting at home not working
Angelina Jolie found a new job. Pretty 👍
You are very intelligent do you happen to have a master's degree in economics by any chance?
Thank you! Unfortunately no masters in economics, I wish!
its still really bad, reefer rates are just terrible.
Agreed, still pretty bad. Go to Cali- run loads from Cali-OR or WA. From WA to UT, UT to TX, TX to CA. You WILL make money that way.
Danm she's cute
Too many Mexican trucks
Is she single.
